Couldn't be happier with Adept. They helped fix some smaller issues inside my house a while back, and were nice enough to even clean up my connections free of charge. The real thing that set them apart for me was their help with my hot tub. They did some great work concealing the conduit, wiring in the boxes, and perfectly measuring where the conduit came out of the ground so the steps concealed it. To be honest, I didn't even ask they just did it and it was a very nice detail and the perfect touch. On top of that they even went to the hot tub dealer just to get a look at the tub and do their due diligence beforehand. Super easy to communicate with, and just overall nice guys. AWESOME TROUBLE SHOOTER. I own a rental and the tenant called saying the lights were out on part of the house. I could not make it up to the house to try and fix it and found Bru on Yelp. He went up ON A SATURDAY, found the problem, called me up with the quote and fixed the outlet that had burnt out. While he was there my tenant mentioned that some of the light switches need to be turned on to turn on others and that it was kind of annoying. Bru fixed that situation free of charge. We needed a 240 line in order to install a cooktop over a built-in oven with almost no room between them and the wall and Bru figured out the best way to do it without much trouble. He is friendly, his work is neat, he cleaned up after himself (!) and the two appliances fit in their spaces perfectly. Bru came the day he scheduled and the cost was very close to his estimate - and reasonable. We will use Bru for any future electric projects and have already referred friends to him. read more

Unbelievably bad, and just straight up a rip-off. I needed 4 breakers changed and he knew exactly what breaker was needed, but he didn't have it. Instead of telling me he would get the parts and then come on a specific date, he drove around for 3 hours looking for the part and expected me to pay for that time. In no way did he communicate that or say what he was doing and what the cost would be. Add to that this man was so beyond creepy, completely lacked social norms and made me feel he was casing my house. Do not hire! read more

This review is well deserved. I have been patient with Mark and his company since October, they wasted 2 months of my time and wanted me to wait an additional 3 months for the repair. Throughout this whole ordeal, I have been the one chasing this company with reminders regarding estimates and paperwork. Let me put in perspective, I have been trying to get this fixed since October and I finally dropped their services today after getting an email that pretty much told me that everything was going to be fixed until February or March. THEY HAVE NOT EVEN STARTED! These are examples of how awful their customer service is: Day 1) I specifically requested a heads up when they were going to stop by to look at the damage as I wanted to be present and I work during normal office hours, well they showed up whenever they wanted and I had to request my mom to let them in; 2) They promised to submit an estimate and I had to chase them around for the document as it was being requested by my insurance company 3) after I got my insurance's go ahead AGAIN they never followed up as promised 4) I told them to process the repair "permit" while I was out of town since it took 2 weeks, I came back and they did not process it. FINALLY, today was the cherry on top when they just told me that they were not going to be able to start until late February or March. AVOID this company, they will waste you and your insurance's time. Now, I will have to search for another electrician and go back to my insurance. At least I dropped them, if their work resembles their customer service, I don't want to imagine seeing the final product. read more

The person who answered the phone was incredibly short, rude and not interested in our business. Within 15 seconds of speaking to this individual, I couldn't wait to get off of the phone. I would suggest giving this person customer service training or keeping them off the phones with potential customers. This company may have good electricians, but we will never know. read more

FAIR, HONEST, AND A COMPLETE LIFE SAVER!!!I was so lucky to find Adept Electric!! 2 days after moving into my home I started having electricity problems... Being a first time homeowner, I didn't know who to call, especially because it was a Sunday. I googled 24/7 electricians and chose Adept based on the ratings... and I couldn't have been happier. I was pleasantly surprised with the quick response and level of comfortability I felt. A couple weeks later another electrical problem arose and again the problem was tended to promptly and VERY affordably. Bru put in a new breaker box for us, was on-time, knowledgeable and did great- looking work. But it wasn't that simple. We had water damage to the box, from a span of many years, apparently. Bru came out and got things safe and functional until we could get the box replaced. The plan was to do it right after my daughter's graduation, but as Murphy would have it, it tried to completely quit just a week prior to the big day. Bru came out on a Saturday, checked for safety, moved up our service day and patched us up to hold us for the remaining two days. Then came out and replaced our panel in plenty of time for the party preparations. He came out today in the snow to meet the inspector, and we passed with flying colors. The quote was fair and the bill matched the quote. He wasn't a big talker, but professional and did a great job for us, going above and beyond, in my opinion. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! There is no substitute for quality work. Adept performs the work as if it was their own house, and I'm glad I hired them. They worked with my tight schedule to install an additional sub-panel and wire the new air conditioner unit. The communication before, during the installation, and after the work was completed was comforting and never had any issues feeling "in the dark".
