AVOID. If they insist you pay over phone, HANG UP. YOU LOSE MONEY IF YOU DO A RETURN. They lie about part quality so you will buy, then try to return it, and will proceed to subject you to their bs return policy because it makes them tons of money. Their return policy reads as such: "No trades, all returns subject to a restocking fee of $45 or 35%, whichever is more". Oh, and by the way, they don't accept returns on: ANYTHING electrical ECUs Body parts (yes, headlights, bumpers, fenders, anything on the outside of the car) Special order parts (whatever they claim is special order but they're just lying about whether they have it or not) Tires (apparently you can exchange or store credit is available, but their other policy says no trades so that could be a lie) So basically they accept returns on nothing of low value because the know they're selling junk, and the stuff they do accept returns on will make them $100+ that you will pay them to take their trash back. There is also a minimum part fee of $35. There is also an "environmental invoice fee" of $10. It says $5 on one sign, but $10 on the other. Whatever price you see online is not that price. If you return anything, you will lose a minimum of $20. But probably more. Have you figured out why they try to make you pay over the phone yet? If not, I'll explain. They will tell you they have an engine for $800 and if you ask if it's in good condition they'll say it's in great condition. If you say you want to buy it they'll say you have to pay over the phone, you can always get a return! So you do. Then you show up and find out it's a POS and you don't want it. But since you already paid for it before you saw it, you will now have to pay 35%, i.e. $285 to show up there and find out you were lied to and walk away with no part. And that's provided they even have the part because they will tell you they have the part when they don't and you'll show up and they will be absolutely unapologetic about it. If they have it, their customer service is garbage and they will make you wait an hour to get the part once you arrive, no matter how small it is. In the hopes that you will leave, or ask for a refund. Oh and by the way there's no way to get a refund unless you are there in person and you are the cardholder. That's what the part of the sign says that they conveniently have cut off. Oh, and there's a sign on the wall that says if you give a good Google review you get 10% off. The only way to get good service from these guys is to go in there and the FIRST thing you need to say is, "Hey, how do I get that discount?" Then they will bend over backwards giving you good service. If you go in there and ask about the review discount after they've begun to treat you like crap, well, service may or may not improve but, at least you'll get 10% off I guess. So they always seem to have plenty of inventory. Like they literally always have what I need a. They charge a little more than other yards but they pull the stuff for you which is nice but the problem is you have to pay for the part you want up front and then it seems like you get the part whenever they feel like getting it done. I literally pre paid for 2 doors and it's been 2 days and I get to pick them up in the morning.... Hopefully.... When they call. Restoring a 1971 Dodge Dart Swinger... After finding a 360 5.9 engine listed for sale from All West Coast I order it and spend $800. A few weeks into it, when I get the time, I start taking everything out to rebuild it, only to realize they sent me a 5.2 318. I'm extremely disappointed and don't recommend these people since they are also very hard to communicate with. Ordered a window online from these guys, price was great and arrived on time. Would buy from again.

I drove down to get a transmission from them and it was cracked then had to go home and wait a day then went back and finally got it and installed it and it didn't shift, then I called them they said come back the next day with the old one. I pulled out the transmission and found my brand new internal filter was plugged with sand or dirt. I showed them and they said that I put dirt in there and I had to take that back and they would not exchange it because I am the one that put dirt in it. Now I'm stuck with a transmission that doesn't work and out 150 dollars. I have been working on cars for 30 years and have never had that kind of service. Called looking for a Grill and hood for my 2003 chevy s10 blazer. Asked if they had a white hood along with a body color grill as well. told me on the phone they had both in stock and in white and that I needed to pay before they pulled the part. I never got a chance to look at the parts or even verify that they were in good enough shape to use. After 2 days of waiting for them to pull the parts they lead me to a white hood that was in worse shape than the one that was on my truck after hitting a deer (the hood they tried to sell me looked like they used it to walk on). So once I told the Lady that there was absolutely no way I was going to pay for this sorry excuse for a "good hood" and install it on my vehicle, I got to inspecting the grill, which not to much surprise, it was wrong as well, it was literally the grill I told them i did not want and pulled it anyway. So after wasting 2 days waiting for these people to "make it right" they gave me a gold hood (still not even in that great of shape, needs 1.5 hours of bodywork and another 2 for paint match) and pretty much told me that's what they got and I'm not getting a full refund. My biggest issue here is i had explained to the counter person that i DID NOT want a hood I was going to have to do body and paint on and if you don't have it i will go to the wrecking yard further away and pick the one they have up for a little more money so I don't have to go through the hassle of painting the hood and grill. But I'm guessing making a sale is more important to these folks than honesty. Now I get to pay triple of what I had originally planned to pay because of incompetence and lack of care. Stay away from this wrecking yard. 5/3/23- Update: I tried working with these people to find me a hood that was in decent shape at another wrecking yard on 4/27. the lady on the phone was very pleasant to deal with and i dont have a problem with her personally. However she informed me that they had found a hood at another wrecking that was in "Very good shape" so I waited 4 days for that hood, or at least an update about it, by Tuesday 5/2 I had had enough of waiting and drove down for a 4th time just to collect what I lost in gas money this week driving to these people. We bought a used engine from All West Cost Auto Wrecking. We installed this engine within the 30 day warranty period but it took us another few weeks to diagnose what was wrong with it due to short staff (it was not turning over). We discovered that the exhaust valve was broken and this engine never would have run. We called All West Coast Auto Wrecking 2 weeks after the 30 day warranty expired (on March 13th, 2023). We requested to have the warranty honored but they refused. We stopped in on the 15th to explain the situation because this motor never ran and was installed during the 30 day time period, but we had to pull it back out and diagnose it before realizing that it had a bad exhaust valve and never would have run. A reasonable expectation would be to either give us a credit or find us a replacement engine from their inventory. read more

My boyfriend called here looking for new cylinder heads, and was told they don't sell them, but they had an engine they would be able to sell us that would work for the car we have. They told us they couldn't tell how many miles it had on it as the car was wrecked so bad and they couldn't see the odometer. We told them we'd buy it if it was in working condition and would always prefer to buy local. They told us they would call us once they had pulled the engine and double checked it was good. After not hearing back for a day, we called back and they said they hadn't done it yet, but would. After another day of waiting, we called again and they told us they'd had it pulled but needed to inspect it and would have it done by the end of the day. So my boyfriend went out near the end of the day to pick it up. While waiting for them to get it ( which ended up taking an hour ) not only did he hear the owner yelling at en employee for a 7 minute discrepancy on his timecard in front of customers, but was told they had inspected the motor and it was good. He then paid them $1100 + tax and finally got it back home. After getting home and tearing it down, he noticed not only were the exhaust valves bent but the heads were cracked and unusable. Per their warranty if the engine is torn apart it voids the warranty but if anyone knows Subarus the head gasket are notorious for failing. After tearing the engine down and seeing the bent valves if the engine was to just be installed it never would have ran properly. After reading the rest of these reviews I'm sure they wouldn't have warrantied it either way. He immediately called them and told them the heads were cracked and was told it didn't make sense as the engine has low miles. Which didn't add up as they had told us from the beginning they weren't able to see the milage as it had been wrecked and they weren't able to see the odometer. We were also able to tell the timing belt and head gaskets had been replaced so why they said it was low milage after originally saying they could't tell how many miles it had wasn't adding up. That night, we sent pictures of the cracked heads and bent exhaust valves to them and were told they'd get back to us. The next day, the employee called us back to tell us the owner said that since we had torn it apart it was our motor now and wouldn't do anything to help us. Long story short wether the motor had been torn down or not the owner wouldn't warranty it after specifically telling us they inspected it before selling it. read more

So I have a Acura rsx and needed a rear bumper and a tail light everything was super expensive so I started checking junk yards in my area no one had one so I had to check out side my area I found this place they where asking 70 bucks for a taillight and where asking 200 for a bumper and both said excellent condition so I went ahead and ordered the tail light to find out in the pictures they sent me it was broken so I cancled my order then I continued to search a bumper couldn't find one so had to come back to there website because the pictures looked good and the bumper was said to be in excellent condition I called 4 times everytime I called they said there was minor scratch about as long as a debit card so I said I would be down there in a 2-3 hours they said ok I was thinking they would have it pulled but nope when I entered there office I stood there for about 5 mins and nobody helped me so I just stood there until I got some help they said I couldn't see it and said it would take about a hour for it to get pulled so I waited about a 25 mins till they called me out to find out the the dude who was helping me said it was in rougher condition the. He thaught so I said it's fine can I see it he showed me it it was torn up the color was white now it yellow stained with cracks chips paint falling off bottom peice was hanging not worth 15 bucks but they had another one witch was blue I was fine with the color waited a hour in my car to find out it was worst then the original one do not come here for anything they also upcharged a ranch near them because they wanted to pay with chef don't come here read more

I'm on edge with these guys... I've sent people here for parts and have had a lot of mixed feedback after buying their parts. My personal experience was good with a headlight I needed for a car but horrible with a transmission... Long story short: I bought a 4l60e GM transmission for a customer's van that was missing all but 3 pan bolts and someone had broke off the filter screen. The transmission didn't work after installing the unit and filling it with fluid. After bringing it back to them they dropped it off at a transmission shop and the only thing they could come up with is that I installed the wrong filter kit. When I talked to the manager about the inspection the guy told me that I was going to be responsible for paying for the inspection. Last thing that happened was when dropping the transmission core off with them it took a good 45 minutes to get one of the staff off their ass to come out and fetch it from the back of my truck. They then took another hour to get me my core refund which they first tried to refund me in credit. Seth's final thoughts: Don't remove crucial pieces from parts you sell if you don't want to pay for an inspection later; only to reveal you shouldn't have removed it in the first place. read more

When I got there at 2:30 was told I could wait in my car and they would be right out. At 4:30 parts finally shown up. Drive line and seat belt were ok. I was told the bumper had a small dent. I wasn't paying attention but by the looks of it pretty sure they drug it all the way. Its totally junk. I was so irritated after waiting so long I just needed to go. I called and ordered 4 parts for my Sons car, i told him specifically what i needed and he said this part he has will work. I paid for them on the phone. i showed up 2 days later to pick them up and they couldnt find 3 out of the 4 parts. The guy blamed the workers and gave me my money back for the 3 parts. I took the one part home, Took my car to its scheduled appointment at a mechanic. he called me after he got the car disassembled and said that the part doesnt fit. I called the auto wrecker and they argued and insisted that their part was right, based on what his computer said. i then found proof that they were wrong and they all of a sudden remembered that they have had this issue before. My mechanic needed to move on to the next car so he had to put mine back together with the bad part in it. He still charged me full price of the work, so i was out $300 because of All west coast auto wrecking's "computer" i took the wrong part back and he agreed to swap it out with the right part. I explained that i was out $300 and had a total of 2 hours of driving at this point, and if i want to get my car done, it would be another 300. He looked unfazed as He pointed at the paper and said bUt My cOmPuTeR said it was right...he then went back to munching on his cheetos and bologna sandwich. They took zero responsibility for their mistake and offered not even a partial refund on the part. Please Do yourself a favor and order parts online, this place is dirty, and youre probably going to wind up not satisfied. read more

I told them I would be driving an hour to ge to them. When I got there, they did not have a tailgate for my truck that was even in fair condition. They had one tailgate for a newer vehicle...but it was much more. F-Off, I wasted almost 2 1/2 hrs driving to get there and they did not even have my part. Don't waste your time with these losers!
