Central AC went down right before major heat wave. Apparently the coolant was leaking, which wasn't found until 2nd visit. We set a very expensive repair date and they came on time, fixed the leak and my house was comfortable again. Thomas was a great tech and told me exactly what was being done. Their office runs very efficiently, with nice people on the phones. Now I pray this lasts a really long time. read more

Replaced the heating system. One day out with the old and in the new. Cleaned up the area and, removed the old one. Covered the floors and stairs. I did have an issue the next day. They were back in an hour after my call. It turned out that my thermostat didn't play nicely with the new system. They replaced it, no charge. I called All weather temp control because of a no cold issue. They gave me a 4 hour window and showed up three hours late. So I spent all day waiting for them. They told me I needed a capacitor and a contactor. Total bill for this was $ 610.00 I looked up the average service fee for this kinda of repair and was shocked when I found the average cost for this is around three hundred. The parts are actually available online for a total of 45.00. That means they charged me 565.00 labor for 20 minutes work. I do not recommend this company. They took advantage of me. Shame on this company for taking advantage of a unsuspecting Customer. I will let my family and friends know of my experience. I hope this helps the next person . I feel so disgusted. The HVAC broke and needed to be replaced. I wanted to go with using Universe but due to the fact it's a rooftop unit, my building uses All Weather and Universe doesn't service rooftop units. The salesman that came Joe, while initially responsive gave me a price of $9500 which floored me considering most home units don't cost that much. He claimed how he was giving me a discount. I felt forced to use them because I didn't have much options. It took nearly 3 weeks to get it installed. The day of the installation was supposed to happen, Dave the project installer told me that Lenox forgot to put a custom plate so it had to be delayed. It took another two days but finally they came on time to install. I thought yeah it's going to finally happen! I was annoyed at that point but the kicker was the day of the installation Dave was away and so they sent two men to come and let me tell you all they did was complain how hot it was and how they didn't even want to be there on the roof. Yeah I heard that. Then they claimed I was being rude because I insisted they stay to finish the job. The installer's comment? "I am missing a heat valve and I have been here 6 hours, I shouldn't even be here that long." He got mad too that he had to assist me with fixing the new thermostat. That's when I got very upset and called the office. Thankfully the office manager and Dave took over and the next day they came to adjust the heating issue. Dave apologized for the installers behavior towards me and how unprofessional they were. Overall I would not use them but felt I had no choice. I don't recommend them for their price. The unit thankfully works great - yeah for $9500 it should. You can do better. read more

Over the course of the past 3 years I replaced two A/C units in my Massapequa home using All Weather. I decided on the Lennox signature series for both and the units have worked great. (which is why I am giving them 3 stars) Last week I received a notice for a service agreement estimate from them for 12 months.- This agreement essentially provides ONE visit to my home for Spring start up which includes the changing of both air filters for each air handler.. The cost $450. When I asked if this is a 2 year agreement the response was "1 visit" and also that if my system is not maintained according to Lennox certified professionals it could void my warranty. So over 10 years, (without inflation increases) -- that means that I will be paying $4500 in total to start up my system. Is this not excessive ? Reminder -- these are 2 brand new 3 and 4 ton units that have a shelf life of 20 years (+/-) So to sum up-- I am backed into a corner on this and will send a check (naturally) but come on-- this is for ONE visit and the woman who I spoke with also stated that they will ALSO charge me an additional $120 for any further service visits PLUS replacement equipment costs if necessary. Honestly I have 2 other service agreements with different local companies (utilities) and at least they charge a fair price-- which also includes follow up visits if needed for the year. Don't be fooled by Google reviews. I've been with this company for 3 years and they did a fine job with my CAC install but DO NOT use this company for plumbing and heating repairs. It started out with a small pipe leak in my boiler room which took them 3 weeks to finally get someone to come out to address. That subsequently resulted in 2 additional phone calls for banging pipes. They charged me a service call fee every time, in addition to labor totaling of over $2300 when it was all said and done. A week ago I woke up to an overfilled boiler, radiators leaking and 20k in water damage to my ceilings, walls, floors and furniture. They're all about money and do not have skilled plumbers on staff. It's been over a week and I have not heard back from management yet. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. read more

I have been a customer of All Weather for a few years now. The AC system is wonderful, cool and quiet. I had to have service for this unit because it seemed not to cool off as it use to. Service man Eric M. came to my home and did a very thorough cleaning and check-up on this unit. This AC is running like new again. I will always ask for Eric M. to come do the seasonal cleaning and check-ups. Great service, friendly and professional. read more

To start, they wasted one of my afternoons by not showing up and later canceling the appointment. The next morning, took them 2 hours and ~$250 to figure out that my air handler is 20+ years old and needs to be replaced. The guy then spent half an hour staring at my outdoor unit to get the model number. Oh wait, it wasn't even a full 2 hours, they arrived 20 minuets later but still charged me for it. Obviously they didn't get my business. The two other companies that came to check on my system only needed 20 minuets to perform the same tasks and no I was not charged for an estimate. The quote I received from All Weather was also ~1k above others, and they really do think Lenox is The best brand ever for hvac system. I wish people do more reviews about these... freaking contractors. O yeah I'm not finished, it would be 2 weeks, for a company of this size, to come if I decide hire them. Really? Spent 10k on an AC system that doesn't work. They came to fix it and again it didn't work. They came to fix it again and couldn't because they apparently don't make service calls with all the necessary equipment. This is a new system that I expected to work the first day. We bought a central air system from Lowe's a few years ago. They use All Weather for these installations. From the word go we've been nothing but impressed and satisfied with the work done and the service provided. Super professional staff. During a visit to our home one of their team accidentally caused some damage to our ceiling. We were assured that they would repair it immediately. Within a week there was a crew at our door ready to make the repair. Even that crew , which I understand was contracted by All Weather, was outstanding. They were courteous and neat. They showed up early every day and cleaned up perfectly every afternoon. All Weather obviously cares about their image and clients!!! We had a Lennox AC/Heat split system installed in January. We met the salesman and contracted in December. The company did 2 walk thru before the installation to determine the BEST way to install the system. The crew showed up early on the installation date. The installation was completed within the scheduled two days. Before the crew left upon completion the floors in the house were vacuumed and the areas outside were cleaned up. There was nothing left except for the installed equipment. They treated our house as if it was their house. They showed up on time or early for all the appointments. I've installed a new Lennox HVAC system recently costing over $12,000 and I am regretting using them ever since. I should have went with my gut and used Flynn-Aire instead. I went with All Weather because I felt they were closer in proximity to my home. I knew I wanted to use Lennox but this was a nightmare. The service technicians never seemed to fully understand the installation and kept having to call back to the office and asking for assistance. Then they ripped the heating ducts in my attic and tried to fix but made it worse. Then I found out from another source that my system was not properly sized, and they haven't been able to fix or make it right. I could go on but basically choose someone else no matter what. I have been a customer of All Weather for 31 years. They put in total Central A/C. They have serviced the unit and even replaced the condenser a few years back. This year my home was completely ruined by a broken, frozen pipe. I needed to rearrange the pipes and the ductwork to accommodate reconstruction. I called All Weather and asked to speak to the Service manager, Ray. I was told he would call back. Three days passed no call. Called again. I was told Ray was very busy, that he would call. Four days passed. No call. Called a total of four times. Asked to speak to OWNER. They refused to put me through. All Weather for some reason refused to return call. I guess they were just too busy with new customers and just did not care about old customers who helped to build their business. I ended up getting another company for the 15K work that had to be done. All weather lost, not one, but three locations, by ignoring me. Be careful, unless you are putting in a new system, seems they don't need you. read more
