This review is for a service I received back in early 2021. I had a 2018 Nissan Rogue, and my front bumper was damaged during a heavy snowstorm. My car was buried under several feet of snow, which later turned to ice. While I was shoveling around my car to create a path, I didn't realize ice had capped around the bumper, so when I backed out, the bumper partially came off. A friend recommended this shop, and I'm glad I went. Within a day, they ordered a new bumper for me. The part arrived in four days, and by day eight, the bumper was installed. The repair was flawless, and the car looked as good as new. The whole job, including parts and labor, cost about $700, which felt reasonable. I also had to put down a deposit when the parts were ordered, which is standard practice and wasn't an issue. Now, nearly three years later, the bumper is still in great condition with no issues. This review reflects the work done on my vehicle in regards to my prior post. I got my car back January 2020. I didn't notice any issues with it except for a minor vibration each time I had my wheel turned all the way to the left as I was making my corner turns. I honestly thought it was something that was going to go away. Come March we went into lockdown, I was laid off from my job, this ceased my need for daily commute, I hardly drove. In addition, I couldn't afford to take on any more expenses as money was tight, honestly I wasn't sure if I was even going to find work. Mid October was when I started driving daily once again, I noticed the vibration and noise was getting progressively worse. Today as I brought my vehicle into BMW for service, I asked them if they could take a look at were the noise was coming from. Turns out my axel was never connected to the differential. The axel itself as one of the techs said in the video and I quote, "is F'd up". I was told axel alone is going to cost me $2,000, this does not include the other parts that I may or may not need depending on what they find this upcoming week when they remove the axel to further access. Honestly, this was just truly upsetting to me because I drove my car in the blizzard not too long ago too! I could have potentially lost control of the car and god forbid hurt anyone else in this process over this. All type has been servicing my cars for many years and i would not go anywhere else as i am very satisfied with their work. At all type always gives me a fair price on all repairs that are done to my car. Other then the auto repairs that they perform, they also do excellent body work as well. My car was hit a few times and after bringing my car to All type, you would never believe that my car was in an accident. For literally decades, my family has been going to All-Type Collision for all our mechanic and autobody needs (don't let the name fool you, they do perfect work on collision and auto-body repair, but their work on general mechanics is equally fantastic). It shouldn't be so hard to find a good, honest mechanic, but the family-owned shop at All-Type knows that if you do good work at a fair price, and give your customers a reason to trust your judgment, you'll find a repeat customer for life. As a perfect example, I had the dealership perform routine maintenance on my car. At the end, they brought me over and showed me six items that they said needed to be repaired/cleaned/replaced -- one of which, they claimed, was a slow leak in the transmission fluid box and another was an "emission service" for some carbon buildup in the engine. I called Frank at All-type and told him what they told me and asked if I could bring the car by. He told me to come by with their list. I brought it straight over and he told me that they could take a look and give me an evaluation the next day. When we spoke the next day, they told me that the transmission "leak" was nothing more than normal sweating around the box and they checked it and there was no leak and the "emission service" was a joke. I did need new brakes and I should get the spark plugs replaced sometime in the next 10k miles, but I didn't need it right away, I also needed two new tires. They suggested that (1) if I was going to get the two replaced, that I get four new tires and (2) that I NOT use them for the tires. That's right -- the mechanic told me that since they don't do a lot of tires (and so, they basically buy them at retail), shopping around would save me a lot of money. They asked me if I had a CostCo card, because they have good prices on tires there. I decided to have them do the brakes and the spark plugs, which was literally half the price of those two items on the dealership's estimate, not to mention the thousands of dollars the dealership wanted for the unnecessary items they wanted to do. If you need a good mechanic or auto body repair, give these guys a try. They'll earn your business and your trust. read more

I called ahead asking about getting a front light replaced, Frank was very helpful and informative, giving the price and estimated time. I got to the location and it took less than 15 min before I was driving away. It turned out the light didn't need to be replaced and it was a faulty connection from the previous repair (another auto shop) so they fixed the connection and didn't charge since no parts were replaced! I highly recommend this repair shop, the staff was friendly, quick and knew their automobiles. Only thing is the location is not very convenient for me, but if you're close or not commuting during rush hour All-Type Collision Repair is a sure bet. read more
