Anthony and Roseanne are great! I had my car repaired there and although it took awhile, they did their best to get me the best price, (since I was paying cash), and the work was done well. I was very happy with my experience. read more

I have to say that Anthony and Roseanne were unbelievably easy to deal with and could not have been nicer, which probably would've been enough except that they also didn't excellent job repairing our car! This is the place that really cares about customers and really cares about doing a good job. Couldn't recommend them more! read more

Friendly service takes care of any of your insurance problems with both parties. Work was done as promised and looks new

This is the best experience I've ever had with a body shop , hands down ! Anthony and the team go above and beyond to service their clients . I brought my car in for repair for an accident and they had it done in less than three days . It looks like it did when I purchased it , if not better . My car came back sparkling clean and detailed inside . They worked hard to help me sort out all of the details with my insurance company and are such a great value for the work they do I cannot thank them all enough for being amazing and making my experience pleasant and fast ! Would HIGHLY recommend them for all of your auto repair needs . read more

We found Anthony by way of luck and he was amazing - quite literally the best customer service we have experienced anywhere for anything. We could tell immediately Anthony was trustworthy, reliable and that he was giving us his recommendation straight with no BS. No need to worry about price gouging here. Most importantly our older car was fixed incredibly quickly and Anthony went above and beyond for us. He now has lifelong customers in us as we will be taking our car here for all needs moving forward. Definitely recommend Central Collision to all local Yelpers. read more

After being involved in a minor fender bender, I was referred to Central Collision by Hartford insurance adjuster. Anthony the owner was very professional and has been in the business for over 20 years. Positive- constant communication, and very accommodating to work with a client's time frame Negative- incomplete work( a scratch on the door was not repaired as promised) When I picked up the car it was not washed, thus I did not notice the untouched up scratch. They did attempt to hose off the front area where the work was done. I was told to wait 24 hours for a proper car wash. Post car wash I noticed it. Nice guy to work with still, quality of the repairs done were well above what I expected. read more

Yes, it is true, Anthony and his sister are very busy all of the time, but it is because they get the job done. Our car got rammed into twice while parked and both times we used Central Collision - the first occasion we were recommended by our insurance and second time we chose them. They are very accommodating when it comes to early drop off, late pick up and even weekend drop off and pickup. I cannot seem to find a decent mechanic or Hyundai dealership that is not a complete rip-off - I wish they did more than just repair damage, I'd bring my car here for everything! AND!!! Our windshield cracked while waiting for parts to come in at CC and the windshield repair person who I found online happened to know Anthony. Anthony let the guy come replace our windshield while our car was being repaired at CC. They worked when between the two of them and I got to kill two birds with one stone! I'm tellin' ya, yeah they are busy but your car will be like NEW when hey are done. read more

Anthony and Roseanne remind me of the three A's: able affable & always available, ... they were pleasant & professional. My car had front end damage. The car was repaired perfectly and returned on time as promised. I highly recommend. read more

Great work! This was my second time. Took my Dodge Challenger this last time for a dent in the right rear quarter. The body work came out perfect as well as a great match on the color. When I picked the car up it was sparkling clean inside and out. Thanks Anthony for being anal with my most prized possession! read more

these guys are incredible! I recommend them to all my friends and family. Both times I've gone they got me fixed next day (even though the phones are running off the hook) they went out of their way to find me a used part that was within my budget and fixed issues with my car that weren't even related to what I had come in for. My car is old and has been THROUGH IT, and they always give it back to me looking and running like new. read more

LOVE THEM!!! BEST CAR SERVICE. Best people. I will not be going anywhere else for any car needs.

I recommend Central Collisions to anyone who needs body work - they do high quality work, are well priced, efficient and fast. Anthony, the owner, is great to deal with - he is friendly and confident about his work. Thanks, Anthony. read more

I got side swiped and they did a great job at fixing my doors and bumper! Fast and easy transaction! They even fixed the minor rust on the hood of my car due to road debris hitting the hood. read more

I am extremely happy and entirely satisfied with the quality of work; as well as the overall service, special care and attentiveness provided by Central Collision and, in particular, by its principal Manager Anthony! The body work performed (repainting of the front hood and some of the side panels of my Jeep Wrangler Sahara) was spotless and the car literally looks like new! Anthony perfectly followed through from the beginning to the end of the process and even picked me up from the local subway station when I was running late from the office on the day I was picking up my car! To sum it up, Central Collision not only executed an excellent paint job, but provided above and beyond 5-star customer service!! Thank you!! read more

Anthony and all of his team could not have been kinder or more helpful - which is exactly what you need in these circumstances. They guided me through the insurance process, helped chase the assessor for me and did an immaculate job on my crumpled car. It now looks better than it did before the dent. I hope I never need them again but I would 100% recommend them, and would definitely go back if I needed to. read more

Extremely professional-- they communicated well, did a thorough job, and left the car in great condition.

It seems to me that the previous poster doesn't understand how insurance companies work. It can take them weeks to review and make decisions. Instead of blaming Anthony, the poster should have called his insurance carrier and asked them to expedite their decision. I've used this place for almost 3 decades. They saw me through the angst of having had teenagers who thought a car fixed itself! Central Collision is still a family business. Father (Mike, who is semi-retired), son Anthony (who runs the place) and daughter, Roseanne, who keeps 'em all laughing. And, of course, Vinnie a Master Auto Body Mechanic who can fix anything. Nice people, excellent turn-around time, and fair, competitive pricing. Don't know if this is also a help for anyone, but they are also an approved Geico, Hartford, State Farm, Nationwide, AllState and Travellers repair location. When you go, you might want to be prepared for a short wait as I have almost never gone there without finding a line of people ahead of me. When a place is this busy, you know they must be good! read more

Most of these body shop reviews are either 1 star horror stories or 5 star shill reviews written by the business. By the way it seems there was a 1 star review previously of Central Collision that has been removed - just for full disclosure. My experience with them has been very positive - they fixed my car perfectly, they were very professional and great to work with, the only negative (hence 4 stars instead of 5) was the length of time to fix the car was longer than originally expected - however they did call me and update me on the situation. They also went the extra mile and even reimbursed my rental car expenses because of the lateness! Very good and professional place, honest and quality work. I would recommend it. I do NOT work there or have any ties to them, I'm just a customer. Please ignore all 5 star reviews of any body shops you see - they are all written by the business or their cousins. read more

Amazing services Anthony and his team really provided exceptional customer service. Supported me with what mirror part to order and managed to squeeze me in for a quick mirror replacement! Fantastic work! I brought in my Sentra to replace some side and quarter panels and they even got rid of my check engine light!! ANTHONY was incredibly honest and did everything he could to maximize my savings. He was so straight forward and helpful that at first I thought it was an act or some type of pitch but he DELIVERED ON EVERY PROMISE he made. ****Highly Recommended*** Thank you Central Collision, more businesses should practice like yours in this city!! read more

I don't know how this place got a lot or 5 stars. Maybe they actually do a good job with the cars. As far as communication goes, they're horrible. You get the run around. I tried getting an estimate and basically played phone tag. They looked at my car and got my number and said they'd call me back but never did so I called and every time I called they said they'd call me back with the estimate. After my 4th call I just gave up. read more

I took my car in to get an estimate. Anthony said he'd get in touch with my insurance and give me a call the next day. He didn't call the next day, so I called him on the day after. Still, no status update. In fact a week and a half went by like this as I played a one-man phone tag. The few times (maybe 3) that I was able to get Anthony on the phone, he would give me the same run-around about the insurance. He's a nice guy and if others have a good experience then don't just take my word for it. But after dealing with Anthony for a week and a half (and being told blatant lies about why it was taking so long), I have to strongly recommend against going to Central. read more

I would recommend this place to anyone that's needs body work done to there car. My car was hit twice in one year, I found out about this place thru my insurance company after the first accident. Anthony and his team did a wonderful job repairing my car. So it was only natural when my car was hit a second time that I would take my car back to Anthony, and I was not disappointed. There work was fast & efficient and I received wonderful customer service. I pray my car doesn't get hit again but if it does I will not hesitate to bring my car here. read more

My husband and I recently took our car to Central Collision for some work on our bumper. Anthony helped us out and was extremely fair and honest with us about the work that needed to be done. We are so happy to have found a body shop we can trust ( though hopefully we will never need to use them again!) He was polite, friendly, and genuinely interested in saving us money. Thanks for fixing our car. read more

As a result of a very minor fender bender, the corner of my front bumper had several small cracks in it. I thought that the only repair I needed was a new bumper. I consider myself very lucky to have had this business repair my ride. Not only was the color matched perfectly but it's obvious that the proprietors, Anthony and Roseanne, know that collision repairs aren't just superficial. It was comforting to know that Anthony is also a claims adjuster and that his business is recognized by several major insurance companies as part of a "Select" group of collision repair shops. My car's problems were examined a lot closer than what just seemed wrong on the surface. Not only did I have a new bumper, but the fenders were aligned perfectly and as a result, the passenger's side door no longer creaked (as it had before) when it was opened. When I make a very sharp turn, I no longer hear the faint sound of a wheel making contact with a wheel well. My car is nearly two decades old yet because of the love that it was shown by the crew at Central Collision, I have a new sense of pride in the care of my car. read more

My experience with Anthony and team was excellent. Probably the best experience I've had with car repair. My car was recently in an accident where the rear window was shattered. Anthony made the repair so simple and quick (less than 1 day!) that it allowed me to deal with the other stressful aspects of the incident - anyone who has ever been an accident can truly appreciate that, especially since this was my first. I called around for a price quote and found that Central Collision was the most straightforward, flexible and cost effective. The whole transaction was honest, thorough and pleasant. Anthony even helped me diagnose any potential issues with the new car I ended up purchasing. Highly recommended! Anthony and Michael, thanks again for everything! I appreciate the great service. read more

Right before the hurricane, I stupidly broke the driver's side view mirror of my car. I have to say my experience with Central Collision has been wonderful on both occasions in which I needed body work. I am sorry to hear the previous reviewer was discontented by the service. If you are looking for a professional place to get your body-work done, look no further. Central collision on the corner of 36th ave. and 10th street is THE PLACE!!!! I just picked up my Chrysler, and was absolutely amazed at the fine job they did. I had concerns that they may not be able to match the color, but BOY, was I wrong!? It's a very honest, flexible and friendly family owned place. In business for some 55 years, and between Anthony, Roseanne, and Mike, they are sure to please you as well.
