After being sick week and still recovering I decide to try to survive work and on my way getting stuck in traffic I get a flat tire and stuck on the side of the toll road. I call roadside assistance and I am waiting over an hour for them no biggie it happens. Well this driver pulls up which I am thinking it's my roadside assistance I called. He didn't tell me who he was or any other information other than did I still need help. I said yes I still need help. He said okay let's go to discount tire. Something seemed off at that point because I thought that they would be just changing my tire to my spare, and I would figure it out myself, but I wasn't gonna question what the rules were. so he loads up my car and drives me about 10 minutes down the road to discount tire, and before he unloads my car, tells me that I owe him almost $250 and I said what? like I called my roadside assistance, like nothing was spoke of this when my car was picked up. You didn't say anything. I had been waiting for someone to come and get me. I don't have that right now. He told me, oh well, pay up or you don't get your car. He then started to get loud with me and completely took advantage of me when he could have stated who he was from the start or how much it was going to cost. And I would've been able to then tell him that I was already waiting for someone. but he didn't, and he took advantage of that, and then also gave the worst experience and service, so I would highly not recommend this tow service. They will take advantage of you at any cost, and they don't care about anything else. If I can save anyone from going through what I did with this guy, I surely will. His name was IYAD HINDAWI and this was after he gave me a fake name because he did not want me to give him my name. I called Milstead around 6:20 pm because the online portal did not show that the status of my service had been updated to show that the tow truck was in route or that the truck had already picked up my vehicle. I was told by a Milstead employee that their drivers were behind because of traffic and could not arrive before 7 pm. This was going to be a problem because the business my vehicle was at closed at 7 pm. The employee said that she could reschedule my service for 8 am the next day and I agreed to that. For the original service request, I spoke to a Milstead employee at 4:24 pm to confirm that they had received my request and it was confirmed. No one from Milstead contacted me to say that they were not going to be able to adhere to their arrival time. The next day, I called Milstead around 8:15 am to see if my car had been picked up and the employee said that my service had been set for 10-11 am and could not be moved to a sooner time. I let the employee know about my situation from the previous day and she said there was no documentation that my tow service was rescheduled for 8 am that day.
