The general repair was done well and works but I took my vehicle (2006 Lexus GX470) in for a dash…read moreremoval service. When I picked it up, multiple wood trim pieces and both A/C vents were cracked. These parts were not damaged before the service, and the damage is consistent with improper pry tool use or forced removal. When I brought up the damage, the shop offered aftermarket replacements that did not match OEM quality or finish. After I declined the aftermarket parts, the shop told me they "could not do anything further." I have spent months trying to source OEM replacements myself, and the cost is significantly higher than what the shop offered. The shop has refused to cover the proper OEM repair. This review is not about the repair being difficult -- it's about the lack of accountability and the refusal to restore the vehicle to its original condition after causing visible damage during their work. If you care about your vehicle's interior, especially OEM trim, I would strongly recommend choosing a different shop. UPDATE: Response - There was no detailed discussion or explanation of specific interior trim risks before the work. - I was never presented with or asked to sign any disclaimer regarding interior damage. If the shop has a signed copy, I've requested it but have not received one. - The wood trim, vent assembly, and glovebox panel were not damaged prior to the service and the new damage is consistent with improper removal tools and handling, not age-related failure. - Aftermarket Amazon parts offered to me do not match OEM Lexus materials, so declining those is not "declining a solution." I've sent the shop a detailed email directly so this can be addressed privately and professionally. My goal is simply proper OEM replacement for the items that were damaged during the service.

I was told they would charge double what I was quoted and the work would fail. Well they quoted me $750 and the bill came back at $904 so $154 above the quote. The reality is I think the other $154 is a bit bogus.. $75 for anti-freeze.. come on also that should have been in the initial quote. Here's the deal though, I had to go out of town to move my family to Texas and I had my friend pay it for me and pick up my jeep. The work they did was quality work and I have had no issues since.. only been a few weeks. They also were incredibly quick and communicated. I didn't dock them a star because of how flexible they were to let my friend take care of this for me and since I haven't had any issues:)

I'm so thankful I found Ultimate Car Care last year!!! And the fact that this shop is not too far…read morefrom home helps out a lot as well!!! I was taking my Suburban for all repairs to a shop in Spring, up until about last July. I was crushed to find out my mechanic was no longer at my usual spot. I don't just trust anyone with my truck, as I'm sure most people are the same when it comes to their vehicles. So I asked around, and heard some great stuff about Ultimate in Humble. I thought, Yay!!!! Some place close to home!!!! I took my truck over last August, met Ben.....the owner of Ultimate, and explained that my truck was leaking A LOT of oil from several places. I also explained that aside from having a large household, at that time this was the only vehicle we owned to get all 4 children & ourselves around. Ben & one of his employees looked everything over & promptly let me know the cost & the length of time it would take to have my truck fixed. I went ahead & got a rental car, even though he told me he would have me fixed up by the next day & ready to go. Had I arranged to have my truck to him earlier, I could've had it back that same day, but those of you that know me, know I move slow at times, lol. When I went back to pick my truck up the next day I was very much satisfied with the work they had done. Finally, NO MORE OIL DROPS IN MY DRIVEWAY!!!! I was also happy that Ben's employee let me know that I was going to need my rear differential changed out soon. Well, i wasn't exactly happy that I was going to have to have it replaced, but my last mechanic had told me the same thing a few months before, so it was nice to know that my entire truck was checked out without me having to mention that to them. He made me aware that I should have it taken care of as soon as I could, but didn't make me feel pressured to do it at that same time, or even through them for that matter. If it's one thing I can't stand, it's having someone make me feel pressured........especially on such a big job like that. That's the exact reason why I stopped going to the Chevy dealership to have work done. I took my truck back to Ultimate at the beginning of October due to a fuel pump issue & also had them change out the rear differential at that time. Now my truck is in great running order & I can't Thank Ben & the guys over at Ultimate enough for doing such a great job & getting me back on the road quickly. Regardless of how far out you may live from Humble, or if you are fortunate enough to already be in this neck of the woods, I HIGHLY recommend Ultimate for all your car repairs. They'll definitely get you fixed up in a timely manner & give you a great price, without all the pressure!!!!

From there they tried to sell me another service. I was not against the other service that they offered, but i wanted to hear more in detail about it. The bad experience stated here. I asked to speak to the tech about it, and they refused to let me speak to the tech and give me more detail on what i was paying for. and it left a bad taste and my mouth but i took it for a grain of salt and assumed i was over reacting. later in the day after receiving my car back my girl noticed that our seat would no longer adjust and the button for the seat was pushed in. I then called the shop to find solution. they then tried to charge me another 100 diagnostic to check the situation rather then just looking at the seat that was damaged after. I took it to the shop to talk to the owner and he yelled in my face as i remained professional and calm as i had my work gear on and could not make my employer look bad,and i have it all recorded. At parts i asked him why is he yelling when i remained calm. He then digressed and then went back to yelling. Probably the most frustrating experiencing i ever had. It was like talking to a controlling parent. I won't bash the shop because i'm sure they do good work. but working with a company that has integrity is important and this is just not that shop. i also noticed that another customer had a similar experience.
