We were looking to update our prescription & get new lenses in for our glasses. Found this spot since they're open Saturdays. Booking via phone was really simple and the receptionist was able to answer my questions before moving forward. Upon coming in we were greeted by the front desk, filled out intake, and started our eye exam. We waited for about 15 minutes before we went into a room & the assistant gave us a heads up about our assessment results being an extra charge if we wanted the provider to go over it. I opted in. Dr. Allen was amazing when explaining my results and inquiring more about my medical history to better help me understand it. After we were done, I met with the front staff who helped me measure my lenses for my frames. Bonus: they allow you to bring in your own frames & you just purchase the lenses! They said it would be ready in 2 weeks, but I picked up a little over a 1.5 weeks. I would go to Dr. Allen for updated glasses and annual eye exams moving forward, he and his team are great. read more

Although the staff and Dr. were friendly enough, my exam previously this year was not very thorough at all and extremely quick. It was the first time I've been to an optometrist that only switched the eye thing and asked 2x which was better. He was also the only optometrist I've been to that did not mention my inability to produce sufficient tears and dismissed it when I brought it up. The wait time for the glasses was much longer than quoted. After repeatedly calling and receiving no response, I drove down. The staff member claimed to have called me the week prior. I then sat and waited over 10 minutes while they looked for my glasses. I tried them on and convinced myself my eyes needed to adjust to the glasses. Needless to say my insurance + $300 (for the extras and anti glare, etc) and many months later, I've finally accepted that these are the worst glasses and LENSES I've ever had. I debate whether there is even a prescription on them. I'm glad I didn't write a review right after the exam, when they text you asking you to. Hopefully this review will help someone with anxiety speak up when paying for a service. * In response to the business reply, Caroline was not the patient name. You were unaware of this event because I did not bring it to attention in fear of being dismissed again. Reviewing a company comes with consequences that I do not take lightly. Maybe you could have asked if I got the right business because I can't see ( due to my ineffective glasses, ha!) but suggesting I have the wrong business after spending crucial money there, is ignorant. Due to the poor front desk treatment or lack of communication or incompetence, I had to switch from Rhodes Ranch Eye care. My meeting with Dr.Wong was uneventful and enjoyable. However, I wanted to give credit to Luis for being so pleasant, able to accommodate me as soon as possible, and genuinely friendly. From the phone call to scheduling, tests, and picking up my glasses. My prescription glasses were ready within one week. I picked a Ray Ban frame, although they don't have a full range of options, I already knew what I wanted and I'm not picky. I also noticed that my previous doctor gave me a much stronger prescription. Now it makes sense why I feel sick with my old prescription. I didn't feel pressured to buy things I didn't need. Very unprofessional and dismissive. I had an optometrist appointment here over 3 weeks ago, and no one contacted me or my wife that my glasses were ready. My wife contacted them yesterday and found out they were ready for over 2 weeks. They actually transposed my phone number wrong, or so they say and didn't even sound sincere when they were the one's who made the mistake. They asked for your email on the form when you signed in, and the lady said they didn't correspond via email. Then why do you ask for it??? I visited this eye doctor before my insurance benefits expired, and the initial visit went smoothly. However, god forbid you need further assistance due to incorrect fitting/prescription. They will treat you like a burden and refuse to be helpful in any way. I encountered significant issues when the prescription turned out to be incorrect. Returned for a follow up and the Dr adjusted my prescription and assured me that the fit looks correct. I had to wait for trials both times as they were out of stock and ordered contacts based on the assumption that my prescription was correct (both times). Unfortunately, the prescription turned out to be too strong, affecting my ability to see up close. Even though I reported discomfort and the doctor assured me the fit was correct, the issues still persisted with the new trials. Despite wanting another follow up to address the problem yet again, the staff was unhelpful and dismissive. I was told they would not exchange the contacts again or have a 3rd follow up, citing that they had already accommodated me once. Despite explaining that the trials were unavailable and it was not my fault the prescription was incorrect, the staff's response was uncooperative. Elle rudely said that I should have waited for trials, which was not feasible given my situation (benefits expiring). What am I supposed to do with contacts that aren't the correct prescription/fit? I'm left on my ass to figure it out myself. As an optician, I understand that exchanges are possible by contacting the rep, but it's clear the office was unwilling to help. The lack of support and urgency in addressing my concerns was frustrating and left me to resolve the issue on my own. I spoke up because something was off with my contacts and they made me feel like I was being difficult for no reason. If they would've took the time to address my concern, they would've found that my base curve was also incorrect causing me discomfort. The discrepancy in base curve measurements (8.6 vs. 8.7) was ultimately identified by me, not by the office. I've never been to a Dr's office where I as a patient, have to problem solve my own issues. Regardless of all the mishaps, I was still kind and understanding yet was still treated this way. I now have to go to another optometrist to get fitted properly as they are refusing to see me again. Overall, the lack of patient support and assistance in resolving the prescription issues was disappointing. They lack professionalism and support, especially given that this is a medical practice. I would not recommend this practice based on my experience. read more

We were greeted by the lovely receptionist who was very welcoming and made us feel comfortable the second we walked in. We had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Wong who was very friendly, warm, and professional. My husband spent some time to talk with Dr. Wong about different options in regards to contacts. He was very knowledgeable about different brands and fits pertaining to your daily activity. He made great recommendations and gave my husband some trials to test out. Dr Wong is the best optometrist I have ever had the privilege of seeing. (No pun intended!) He made me feel like a valued patient, taking his time to explain things to me when I asked questions and not automatically pushing me toward glasses or contacts prematurely as some optometrists have done to people who don't need them just to get a sale. All Things Eyes is a beautiful, up-to-date office with the newest technology. As far as a wait time, if you have an appointment and are on time you can expect to be taken back as soon as you fill in your registration sheet. Which, by the way, is on a laminated piece of paper which is filled out by you with a dry erase marker. Talk about eco-friendly! Instead of wasting reams and reams of paper per week which will just be shredded once the information is entered into the computer, the office staff can just enter one's information into the software system and then wipe the slate clean. I went to Dr. Wong to get a refill on my contacts but I figured I probably should get an eye exam too. He took me to get the Optomap test. Wow! It's super cool- no need to dilate my eyeballs anymore. This machine takes a photo of your eyeballs and Dr. Wong can see other problems that I might have. Fortunately, I didn't have any diabetes, hypertension or other issues that can be picked up by the Optomap. After the quick exam, he offered me a new set of contact lenses that can be worn for up to a month. Love them! I ended up with a 12-month supply of my new contacts and my eyeballs are happy! read more

We didn't have a good first experience here. Husband and I booked an appointment together yet we were seen apart. The lady doing the first exam lied to my husband. She asked him if he wanted to pay extra to take a picture of his eyes. She told him that I talked to her about it and that I did it already. None of that ever happened. So after both exams it was time to pick out glasses. The only thing they had on the walls were $500 Tiffany glasses and other high end brands. I told the lady I can't afford that. She acted as though she had to go out of her way to get a rolling cart full of generic brands. We got out prescriptions printed out and went elsewhere. I also cancelled my children's appointments for the following day. We will not return or recommend this tiny location. read more

I came here due to proximity, I just wanted anted an updated prescription because I had went too long without an updated eye exam. I loved the experience. Then my daughter ended up needing an exam, so of course, I took her here as well. She is 6 and was very comfortable, had no complaints. She got reading glasses ordered, we haven't received them just yet, but she is excited and asks everyday when they'll come. They had many options for glasses in her size. She got to try them on (without being rushed) and was happy with her choice. They don't pressure you to buy unnecessary things you don't need or anything at all, when I got my exam turns out my prescription barely changed so I didn't "need" to buy anything right then and didn't, nor did they press me to.
