Came here last year for a yearly check up. The Doctor here is great, but it's just to inconvenient for me to come here for a second time. I The the problem is you have to make an appointment to pick up your glasses, for something so simple you should be able to just walk in but the lady made it clear not to walk in and it appointment only. We've been patients for years, before our son (he's 13) joined our family. But we saw the doc at Fashion Eyecare in the Fashion Show mall, many years ago. Since we live in Spring Valley we transitioned to this location since it is very close. We come to see him every year. The school gave a general screening but we are covered. ((So, no to kickbacks on referrals. The school is always sending us notifications about fundraisers. Just keeping it real.)) We love our eye doc. He is always looking out for us. And that's why we'll keep coming here. We also appreciate Carla. She is always ready to assist us. And in a good mood, which we appreciate. We had an early appt this past saturday morning. Finally, my husband and I found an awesome Optometrist in Las Vegas who is thorough, friendly, professional, trustworthy and in network with my insurance. Dr. Tran carefully examined our eyes before prescribing the lenses. This place also has huge selection of name brand prescription glasses and sunglasses as well. I have been going here for 3 years. Dr. Tran is amazing but the receptionist Carla, not so much. I kept going hoping it would get better. Dr. Tran definitely helped me find the correct contacts. Every year for my annual, I would ask for my written prescription but Carla would always say she was busy or I would have to wait for it, or come back the next day. 2 years out of the 3 I did not receive my prescription. Now looking back it was to make sure I ordered through them. Then this last year I ask again for my written prescription, I told Carla I could not afford their frames, Tha my financial situation has changed and I need to order through Zenni for cheaper frames. She literally laughed when I said that. Then said for me to come back the next day if I want the prescribed because they were going to close soon. I thought that was very unprofessional and not to mention it's actually illegal for them to not give you your prescription. Plus there were many times I would call to see of my contacts came in and they would be there, yet I never received a call to let me know. read more

I like this place so much, I got my fiancé to switch and give them a try. He was going in for a touch up lasik procedure and would have to be out of his contacts for 2 wks so he wanted to get some glasses/sunglasses during that period. He went in for a check up and ordered some glasses on 2/15/2020, I guess Dr. Tran said he was going to put a rush on the glasses for him since his surgery would be scheduled in a in the next 3 wks or so. Well it wasn't communicated to Carla.. and when my fiancé called the office it was routed to Fashion Show stating the office was closed and would give him a call back with a status update Wednesday 2/26/2020. He never got the call returned and called again today. They told him it wasn't even picked up yet for the lab to work on it. And then it'll take another two days before it's ready for him to pick it up. It's a little disappointing as his surgery is already schedule and the main reason for the glasses were so he could see clear enough to work and drive in the evening. I hope he gets to wear his glasses before his lasik surgery and we won't have the same problem when he switches out the lenses for sunglasses later. . Dr. Tran has been good to me and my husband. He has a calm manner. When I had eye strain, the computer glasses he chose for me helped a lot. He is very patient helping you find the right prescription. When I needed more intense eye medical care, he referred me to a great place. His office manager Carla is always bubbly and on top of things. She bills you correctly based on your insurance. And, they personally help you pick out glasses and are so patient and interested. The glasses Dr. Tran has put together for us have been very comfortable. The practice has that homey and human feel that's hard to find nowadays. My family and I have been seeing this doctor for years now, since she moved into this location. She is the best eye doctor we have ever been to. She is always kind and patient. She remembers us and takes very good care of our needs. She always offers the latest technology or makes recommendations when it is something she cannot do. Unlike other eye doctor's we have visited, she performs your exams, she doesn't just come in at the end to sign off. She is hands on. Update: my family still uses this practice and they are amazing. Called to make a new patient appointment for an eye exam and contacts. And I was offered same day right away service. And the office front staff was wonderful - answering all my questions and making me feel at home ( which is good since I'm new to the area) Dr. Hai Tran was awesome and made me feel at ease and was thorough with the exam. Found this place on yelp because my son had a referral from school for optometrists check up. I thought the family here were very nice, I give it a 4 star because they wanted 360 for a pair of lacoste glasses, I thought it was too much for a teenagers first glasses to be that much so I refused them. I then received a call and wanted 175 for them instead. This place is either trying to rip off the right people or just testing the waters. Either way I went back and got the glasses which was inconvenient for me to have to go twice. But overall nice people and by that I mean the customer service. read more

Dr. Tran is simply the best hands down. The service is very personalized and Dr. Tran will insure that you receive the correct prescription which is not as easy as it initially apprears. He has fitted me with multi-focal contacts on two occasions over the years and I have been very pleased with the result.
