In less than an hour I received a return call from a very nice lady who told me the service can be done the next day, Monday June 2nd. On the day of service I received a call from Jeff stating he will be at my home in 20 minutes. When Jeff arrived, he immediately got busy by putting on shoe covers. He also had his equipment and a tarp. He went downstairs and began working on my fireplace and within minutes he diagnosed the problem and in about an hour's time the fireplace was up and running beautifully. Since we have a main floor fireplace that was installed in 2003, I asked Jeff if he had the time to service that one as well and he cordially agreed to service it. Both fireplaces are running as good as new and when Jeff left, you wouldn't even know he was there... except for two well-functioning fireplaces. Jeff is a GOLD STAR gas fireplace technician and giving him a five star rating is a disservice... he rates a 10 in my book. Jeff's price is very fair and his work is beyond EXCELLENT. Rob Michanczyk & his crew did a superb job replacing sheetrock, the ceiling, the damaged wood, and to finish up: the painting. In addition the cleanup was perfect. Usually with condo owners, there can be complaints BUT not with DRM Home Improvement. There was praise from all the Board members and the owner & tenant of the unit that was affected. Considering the amount of work done & the excellent cleanup, the cost was reasonable & comparable to & sometimes less expensive than the competitors. In addition to the previous job, we hired DRM to replace 8 roofs. Again, the work done was excellent, the cleanup was superlative, and the cost was within our budget. The work is always done within the specified time. This month I hired Rob & DRM to install a new vanity cabinet & sink for me. They picked up the vanity at the store, brought it to my condo, up 3 flights of stairs, installed it perfectly, cleaned up, and discarded the old vanity for me. The plumber they sent came the same day & completed the installation efficiently. You can be sure if you hire DRM for your personal or business projects, you will be satisfied. All involved are experienced, knowledgeable, courteous and professional. In my opinion, support your local businesses, you will be happy you did.
