Raul called…read moreahead, arrived when he said he would, looked over what we had booked to be done, explained what he'd be doing, and finished the work quickly. He was courteous and personable. We had considered having an area rug cleaned (at a cost of about $1/sf), but when we decided against it, there was no pressure. We booked one of the "deals" we saw online: 3 rooms (up to 200 sf each), plus 100 sf of tile cleaning for $129. We only had 2 rooms of carpet (both bedrooms) to be cleaned, so the price was dropped to $119. My biggest issue was that an additional $20 trip fee wasn't disclosed until I was about to sign up. So, with that and the tax, I paid about $150 total. I almost backed out on principle, as I felt that added $20 was deceptive. We prepped well for the visit as advised, clearing the floor of loose items, tying the drapes up, and vacuuming well... so the work took all of about 30 minutes given no furniture needed to be moved. We only had one small spot that needed treatment prior to cleaning, and this stain is totally gone. In the end, our carpet appeared to be cleaned well and the fibers did not feel sticky afterwards. Dry time was expected to take 4-6 hours but took longer than that, as it was rainy and cool the day of cleaning. The tile that was cleaned was marginally improved.

Our rep didn't think through the job and asked the day of install about our baseboards then claimed it was a "client change" to the job. I didn't think of the baseboard situation as I don't do this for a living. There sales rep did not do enough due diligence guiding us through our vision. The wood floor itself is great and high quality but the rest was a nightmare. Don't have them do anything other than flooring - their light construction and painting is honestly incompetent and terrible. Lastly, new carpet for our family room. They upsold us a super plush pad then failed to write it up correctly. When I asked why the pad was not correct (after install) they acted like I'm a carpet pad expert and I ordered the blah blah blah 8 pound something or other. They were wrong, got it wrong, I opted not to PAY to fix it so I'll live with it, I guess. Overall, terrible experience but it could be the rep I got. Totally uncoordinated and a lack of communication for what we needed for this project. Very disappointed since we used Soleil as a referral from a friend.
