I set up a time to look at this vehicle not only was he super friendly but he informed me the jeep was at the sister store in Tracy he hand delivered it for me. I fell in love with this car and Richard was able to make it work in my price range. Honestly I'm use to spending 10 hrs at a dealership. They picked a great financing company with putting minimal hits on my credit which was important to me. The whole process was awesome and quick. Because I work close to the dealership Richard picked up my car and had it detailed for me. Had a slight problem with the lift gate but they got it fixed right away. Very disappointing experience, especially since we purchased our vehicle here. We brought our vehicle here Saturday morning because it was experiencing dangerous hesitation/lagging when accelerating, particularly when merging into traffic. We chose this dealership because we purchased the vehicle here and trusted them to handle the issue properly. We were told the catalytic converter was the problem and that Ford would cover the repair at no cost to us. We were told the vehicle would be ready Wednesday and dropped off Thursday morning. The communication throughout the repair was extremely poor. We repeatedly had to call for updates because the dealership was not contacting us when they said they would. We also learned that an additional part had been replaced without our knowledge or authorization. That repair was covered under our extended warranty with a $100 deductible, but we were never contacted before the work was performed or given the opportunity to approve the charge/ know what was going on. When my bf questioned the $100 charge over the phone, Eric told him, "At least it was $100 and not $300." The amount was never the issue. The issue was that the work was performed without our authorization. Instead of acknowledging the lack of communication, we were made to feel like we should be grateful the unauthorized charge wasn't higher. Then Thursday came, and the vehicle had not been delivered because the drop-off had apparently never been scheduled on their end. My bf had to leave work early to deal with the situation. We were also concerned about whether the original acceleration problem had actually been resolved and whether the vehicle had been properly road-tested. Today, Chris, the manager who had been out yesterday, called my bf. Unfortunately, the conversation was just as disappointing. My bf explained that the issue was communication and authorization, not whether the additional part was covered under warranty. Instead of acknowledging the communication failure, Chris focused on the fact that the part was covered. He also stated that there had been no calls for updates and that things were not scheduled because they were "too busy." The only resolution Chris offered was to remove the newly installed part and put the OLD FAULTY PART BACK ON THE VEHICLE. That completely missed the point. We were not asking them to undo a necessary repair, we were asking why the repair was performed without our knowledge or authorization in the first place. What was most disappointing was the repeated lack of accountability and the rude way our concerns were handled. We were repeatedly treated as though we were the problem when we were simply asking the dealership to take responsibility for mistakes and communication failures on their end. A simple apology and acknowledgment would have gone a long way. We ultimately paid the $100 deductible to get our vehicle back. We expected much better from the dealership where we purchased our vehicle. The lack of communication, unauthorized repair, failure to properly schedule the promised delivery, and the way management handled our concerns completely destroyed our trust. We will not be returning here for service or purchasing our next vehicle from this dealership. We will be taking our business elsewhere. read more

Buying from out of state was frustrating. The rep didn't know the process, which I was fine with, but he wasn't getting the help he needed. They never sent the title to the DMV until we called either. The "cherry on top" was, after my car arrived, the gas tank was empty. This is our 2ND time driving over an hour to All Star Ford to buy a car. Our first purchase was about six years ago, and we had such a great experience that we decided to come back again. Jose helped us this time and he was AMAZING. He was professional, knowledgeable, very kind, and easy to work with. The whole process was smooth. We never felt pressured, which we really appreciated. I Just called this stealerships parts department looking for transmission fluid for a 2020 ford escape that requires ULV fluid. They have over 150 qts in stock and would not sell me 9 qts because they are keeping all of what they have for themselves as the fluid has gone on back order. Now i understand if i wanted it all sure you can't do that. However i need 9 qts and you wont sell it to me? Down right ridiculous. So frustrated with these recalls on my Ford Maverick. How many is this now in 3 years? Another day off spent waiting for my vehicle in the shop. I brought it in at 8:30 hoping to salvage the afternoon and get to Sac by 5:30. I wait 7 hours and finally call the dealership at 3:40 just to be told, Oh, your truck has been ready since like noon. Auugh. Austin was nice enough about it but please make sure the car owner actually gets the message. And try again later if there is no response after the initial try. Absolutely disgusting service. PLEASE go somewhere else. I was warned by others to avoid this dealership, but tried anyways. My vehicle has been in for multiple recalls. First, the rear differential. They addressed that, and right after I picked it up, the exhaust hanger broke off (this was apparently another recall they ignored) had to bring it back. Should have been my first sign. Second, brought in for maintenance, oil change, cabin filter etc, they managed to break my glove box and slammed it shut and apparently hoped I wouldn't notice. They broke it bad enough to where it was in the shop for 2 more days to deal with it. Third and final straw that lead me to leave this review, we purchased the extremely expensive extended warranty (almost 10% of the vehicle new cost) to 100k miles. This car has 32k miles and is 5 years old. Brought it in with an oil leak on the rear differential. come to find out that the differential vent tube had come off and just needed to be stuck back on. No big deal, right? Eric tells me it's "not under warranty because there's nothing to fix" and decided I owe them $275.00 diagnoses fee. I figured I reason with him in person. We come in to retrieve the car and I ask him "do you think this is right" and he tells me "I don't make the rules" and "I can't go over the managers head" who was not available, go figure. After some back and forth, we pay our BS bill and leave. Absolutely disgusting service. PLEASE go somewhere else. read more

I purchased my Bronco sport here in March. When i filled out the financial paperwork it had an open recall. Why wouldn't they fix the recall before selling it. I had to go to a dealership to get it fixed. Then less than a week after having it i get a notification for "Rear belt fault". I have called them more than 10 times to set up an appointment. No one answers. I called other departments and they promised to get me to someone and no one answers. One person picked up the phone because the music stopped, i said hello and then they hung up. I recently wrote a bad review but I was bullied by this place to take it down. Well too bad. My husband waited for four hours in service for our first oil change in our new escape. Apparently the battery was "low" but they lied through their teeth. The battery wasn't even touched. Not to mention, they said they called both of our phone numbers and left a message which is absolutely not true. And the next oil change isn't for 10,000 miles?? You guys are garbage. OH!! Zero Stars for the Service Advisor! I want to start by saying that the Service Advisor has a terrible attitude. He treated me as if I didn't know what I was talking about. I thought I could request any service I wanted with my money, but that wasn't the case. From the moment I made the call, he just talked over me and didn't listen at all. It's been almost a month since I first contacted the service department, and the parts I needed were never delivered. My insurance only covered a rental car for a few days, so I had to ask my friends for help with transportation. I'm extremely frustrated at this point, so I cancelled the service. I came in there and purchased a Ford bronco from my daughter along with her fiancé who insisted on being on the loan because they were getting married five days later he decided the bronco used too much gas, and he returned it and stole the car from me and would not give it back All star Ford took the bronco back put $27,000 to the back end of the loan and he traded in in for a mock. He took me out of the hospital on Dilaudid and had me sign paperwork that I assumed I was signing for the bronco then he turned the car back into the dealership because he couldn't afford it and destroyed my credit Wayne Williams was the finance guy who knew I just got out of the hospital and I was under the influence of narcotics and still insisted I sign which is illegal when I went back there with a police standby. They told me to get off their property otherwise they would have me arrested for trespassing and they blocked my phone number. Do not do business with this company or any All-Star dealership. They are a bunch of rip off artist I would not buy anything from an All-Star dealership ever I had a Hyundai Tucson with 68,000 miles on it and the engine blew up even though I was getting oil changes and services on it. It took them two months to get an engine when they did an investigation on the car, they found out they used a used engine that had problems and if I didn't turn it back in under the Lemon law, I would've probably died in a flaming car wreck. Do not trust them. Do not use them. They are a bunch of crooks and Wayne is the best is the biggest crook there is. read more

Took my new mustang to be checked. The car indicated the battery was low. I made an appointment. I arrived at 7:00 am and left the car. At around 2:30 pm I texted, called and left a V/M. No one returned my call or provided me with any updates. At 4:00 pm I called back the service advisor, Frank Williams, and he did not take my call. 30 minutes later I showed up at the dealer to find out the status of my car. Keep in mind that my car indicated that it was parked at 7:00 am in their back lot and never moved. The service advisor said we are still working on it. I said the car has not been moved since 7:00 am. The service advisor responded, "We are waiting for a certified technician." The whole experience felt unprofessional, dishonest and unapologetic. I honestly would not waste my time with this dealer ever again. I replace my car every two years or less and trust me I will never come back to this one. He took my keys, I made myself some free Starbucks coffee from their dispensary machine and then he told me it wld be a few hours and provided me w a shuttle service to Antioch. Shuttle service arrived. Gave me a pleasant ride. In a few hours, picked up the truck and went on my way. The most no fuss, straight forward service I have experienced. No problems or complaints. Fine whatever but then over a week later I get a call saying they are going to cancel my loan since no one has responded. Honors my full tank but then takes 30mins for someone to grab my keys and I want to say they forgot about me because they returned it another 45 mins later. I recently purchased a used 2017 GMC Canyon from All Star Ford. I was never advised during the sale process that I would not receive both normally supplied sets of keys and fobs and that it was also not noted anywhere in the documentation that I would not receive the normally supplied two keys and two fobs. I asked All Star Ford to supply the second key and fob. I asked the salesman and sales manager several times they stated that the Owner of the dealership Tom Nokes does not allow any of his dealerships to supply a second set of keys/fob. For a business that brings in over $300k a year how cheap and greedy can a millionaire be. I even offered that I would provide the keys and fobs for them to program if they are so sadly in need of making a profit instead of gaining a regular customer. It seems the mighty $$$$$$$ is more important than building a good customer base with goodwill.. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau Apparently they felt offended and insulted by my complaint and responded with the following message Which is full of lies. MESSAGE FROM BUSINESS: Customer was advised that the vehicle did not come equipped with keys by the Sales Consultant, Manager and Customer Relations Manager both prior to sales transaction and post. Customer was informed that All Star Ford has a third party vendor that offers key services and they would allow customer to pay at cost, which is, $150. Customer was informed that he can come to our dealer on any Tuesday between 11-12 pm to purchase his key services with our third party vendor. We bought a "Ford certified" expedition, it has been in the shop for almost a month now. We literally had it for two weeks before the transmission started slipping and then a loud clunk. While in the shop they inspected the grinding noise of drivers side window and realized it was previously broken into and had broken glass in the door frame. So who knows what's next to break but I would stay far away from this place, they are crooked and sold us a lemon. read more

I drove my work van this weekend. I felt so safe driving it. it was the best purchase I have ever purchased for my work. I highly recommend this place, especially Rob. Claude Jones Hey y'all! If you buy a Mach E from these guys, and they try to sell you the Star Guard GPS theft system - beware! My Mach E has bricked once, they replaced the 12v battery, then about a month later all kinds of codes showed up on the screen advising to get service immediately. All Star kept the car several days, and when it was returned the Service department said the problem was the Star Guard system. They fixed it by disconnecting the Star Guard. I asked for my money back for Star Guard and Sales Management said no, I needed to talk to Star Guard to get a resolution. I have contacted Star Guard three times with no solution. All Star says I need to resolve with Star Guard. Seems to me if they sold it they should fix it if it won't work with the car! read more

Unethical. Disrespectful. Takes advantage of the customer. Wanted to charge almost double than Walnut Creek Ford. Doesn't communicate well. Plays games. Doesn't support the sign in the lobby of "customer satisfaction." President Brian Nokes doesn't return phone calls. Nor does Mike. Andrew Penuela was a horrible representative. No communication. Kept our vehicle for 3 days with no results. Had to chase them down for an update on the 3rd day. He blamed the delay on parts and a "tough" repair to perform. When we asked Andrew to give us a manager... he transferred us to a "Chris" who spoke a while and stuck up for Andrew, then he put us on hold. Then another man came to the phone and said "hello this is Chris". We advised that we just spoke to a Chris... and he replied... "... I am the only Chris here and I just came to the phone". (So someone was obviously trying to hide the situation from him) We stopped trusting them, paid $225 for the diagnosis, and took our vehicle to Walnut Creek Ford. The did their own diagnosis and found the same issue... and quoted $400 LESS (without knowing the original problem or quote). WC Ford repaired the car in 24 hrs. When I called for the top person in charge, I was given three different names on three different occasions. Left polite messages for all to call me back.... No call back. And before Debra H tries down play the situation on YELP (like she does with the other 1star reviews), why not have someone return one of my FOUR phone calls first! Horrible. Horrible.
