Went to All Souls for a date and I've never been before. They only have like bar snacks but they obviously have a wide array of drinks. The servers were nice and down to earth. It gave rocker, dim lighting, vibey. I saw a lot of people there on dates and a couple groups of friends. It wasn't the most outrageous prices for drinks. I got the Rose and Makers Mark which was $12 for the two drinks. A 2 in 1, which is good for a date if you're a Rosé girl like me and are with someone that likes Bourbon. Good for the checkbook!

One of my favorite bars in DC. Whether you go to read a book during the week or meet with friends, this bar has the best atmosphere to enjoy a good drink. You will always be greeted by friendly bar tenders who make the best drinks. Regardless of what you order you're bound to get a good drink!

All Souls has perfected the covid delivery and takeout experience. First, the quality is as top notch as ever, and tasting the amazing flavors of a number 25 and an 8 again after so many months made it a special weekend. You can even get entire cocktail kits, which get you whole bottles of the ingredients along with recipes. Even better, they package the cocktails in high quality glass bottles with sealed tops, so you don't have to worry about spillage. They're honestly so nice we're saving them and trying to figure out good uses for them. The best of the best is the cost of delivery: FREE! They don't even charge a service fee like all those annoying apps. We will definitely be ordering again. Ps you have to order food with each order, but the side dishes of nuts or olives are perfect compliments to the cocktails.

All Souls is one of my favorite bars in DC. Their cocktails and beer are both great. I personally love their French 75 and they always have a good sour beer on draft. It's bar service, and the bartenders are always super nice and make drinks quickly. The ambiance is one of the best parts of this bar - the low lighting with candles creates a great atmosphere. There's also a good amount of covered patio seating. Definitely recommend for a date night or catching up with a friend!

Stopped by for a drink before a show at The Howard Theater. They had a great special with Rose and Maker's shot for $12. Can't beat that! The vibes were cool and the bartenders were nice. Will go back.

Great soundtrack and good beer list. Service was great. Nice corner of DC. The cocktails are strong so be careful.

Terrible service. Ridiculous minimum per person. Bad drinks. Ancient COVID restrictions (even outside). Will not be returning.

What an...interesting experience…read more This bar sits on top of the Moxy Hotel, which is a sleek, modern spot in downtown DC. Unfortunately, getting to the rooftop was one of the most frustrating parts of the night. Access is only through the lobby, and the security team handling crowd control was completely disorganized. We were constantly being redirected with conflicting instructions: told to line up around the bar, then yelled at to move to the wall, then called to the elevator, then scolded for approaching it. It felt chaotic and unnecessarily hostile, like we were being managed instead of welcomed. To make things worse, IDs were checked multiple times (3-4 times per person) because there was no clear or centralized process. We were attending a birthday party that the venue itself had advertised on Instagram with ~75 guests expected at 9pm. When we arrived, we were told the rooftop was "closed" until 10. After waiting an hour in the lobby bar and dealing with the confusion above we finally got upstairs...only to find it already packed with people who had clearly been there for hours. The "reserved section" for our group was extremely underwhelming: a small space directly in front of a very loud DJ booth and a cold back corner where the heat lamps didn't work (and staff said there was nothing they could do). Service was just okay...no one was particularly friendly, but orders were eventually filled. The bar was oddly limited (only one beer option: Michelob Ultra), and some bartenders seemed unsure about basic drink requests (like a vodka soda with pineapple). The biggest issue came when we asked for the birthday cake we had given to staff earlier for storage. No one knew where it was. It took over 30 minutes and multiple staff members to locate it, and when we finally left for the night, the cake box was damaged beyond use with no remorse. Overall, this is much more of a crowded, club-style rooftop than a place for a planned event, dinner, or even conversation. The view is nice, but the experience didn't match the hype. If you go, expect a party vibe and minimal service and be prepared to navigate some very confusing (and inconsistent) security direction.

They gave us the two-hour heads up, which was totally fair. The outside seating area was closed off because of the weather, but honestly it didn't even rain. That didn't kill the vibe AT ALL though! We started with 4 orders of chips and guac and omg the guac had this perfect little spicy kick to it, chef's kiss! Everyone ordered something different and the carne asada was a total crowd favorite. My sister got the barbacoa tacos and was obsessed. We also got the elote with chips (didn't snap a pic but I'm STILL thinking about it). And there's this salad with strawberries and chicken that I was NOT expecting it to be that good. Now let's talk about the PALETA SHOTS - you HAVE to try these!! We kept ordering round after round. Also had some Espolón Blanco. For dessert we went all in with churros and tres leches cake and I have zero regrets. The DJ was killing it all night, playing r&b and taking requests! They even gave my cousin a birthday shoutout which made her whole night. The staff was on point, the energy was unmatched, and honestly I can't wait to come back. If you're looking for a fun spot with amazing food and good vibes, THIS IS IT! Highly recommend.

Deliciousness - 3/5 Happiness -5/5…read more This place is for drinkers as it has no food, so if you want to lift an ale (and go out for dinner before or after, or bring food in with you), this is the place to be. They have a large beer, wine, and liquor list (although not nearly as many English beers as I expected from a place called Crown & Crow). I won't deny that I wasn't a fan of either of the mixed cocktails I had, with both (including strangely a smoky drink) being too sweet. But the beer was expertly poured and the wine was a very generous serving. The prices are also more than reasonable, which is great for a DC bar. But what really elevates this place is the service. By late night, the place was jam packed. But each and every bartender was extremely friendly and they expertly worked the crowd, getting drinks served quickly (which too few places manage to do) and swiftly clearing off tables of dirty glasses. I also greatly appreciated the free goldfish that they happily dole out to the patrons. The staff made this a really good time.

We came in on a busy Saturday early-evening for drinks before dinner. The back room was…read more"reserved", but we were told to sit back there, given the size of our group and we sat nowhere near the party that was in there. The bartender in that area was friendly, but unhelpful, directing us to use the front room's bartender, even though she wasn't busy when we approached and asked for a couple of drinks. The bartender in the main room was great, he was very friendly and once he started a tab for me he said I could use the other bar too, I guess he wasn't aware the bartender at that other bar already told me she wouldn't help me. Regardless, the drinks we had were decent. For small bites, they only had gold fish crackers, I wish they would have had more to nosh on while drinking. Overall, not a bad visit.
