Not Impressed with the service. I bought a Mattress for my son the Friday after Christmas. The…read moresales person sold me a "door buster" and said it could be in the store by the next Tuesday. This was perfect as it was a present for my son, we were exchanging on Saturday and since all of us would be off for the holiday the following Tuesday. When I called the next Tuesday they said it was indeed in and we could come and get it. We did, but it was the completely wrong item. The sales person- a different one, tried his best to correct the error, but now it wouldn't be in the store until 1/13/15. Not while my family was off on holiday. He threw in a pillow. Not free delivery, but a pillow. Strange, but my husband hushed me and said he would take that day off/ work from home so he could go and get it. I understand that when you say an item will be available to pick up it would be during business hours, and nothing to the contary had been said. So, the mattress came after 7pm. not the most convienent time, and I said wouldn't it seem to make sense that you offer to deliver this mattress since it was three weeks and really an extra day late at this point- the district manager said"no, you're already getting a pilow" I told them that was a shame as I need to replace serveral mattresses in the next year or so- and I will not choose to spend my money there. The sales person was baffled. Just unimpressive if you ask me.

I knew I couldn't just take home because the item was heavy as heck and if I took home I would put off and procrastinate. Wilson is centrally located on Washington ave north haven. Owner graciously met me downstairs, removed item from my car and took the time to inspect the item and point out the "gem" I procured as he compared my lounge to the "prefab won't-last-five-years chaise lounges of today. He asked questions on where the item will be stored (high traffic va low traffic areas of home) and when i answered he provided a plethora of fabrics to consider. Most importantly, he did NOT expect full payment that day! Whew!! What a relief. Starting a new business is expensive so not having to make full payment before work commenced made my day. Chair is absolutely a transformation. Comfortable and I can't wait to use as a prop. Love the oatmeal color I chose.

The years had not been kind to the chair, fabric needed to be replaced, padding worn and arm of the chair completely broken. Rich was great from start to finish. He was able to help us find the right fabrics and bring life back to the chair - looks good as new and still holds that antique quality they just don't make anymore! I had so much stuff that I had to bring it all up to the counter so that I could keep my hands free for further hunting around (unusual for me when I do any antique shopping - I usually only find 1 or 2 items at most). The man working at the counter was friendly and helpful. My friend and I appreciated that he seemed to enjoy his job - that made our shopping experience even better. I also think that someone who set things up outside has a wonderful sense of humor, because there was a doll sitting in a chair looking into a mirror. You know I had to get a picture of it!

This Kohl's is located as the anchor store at The East-Brook Mall. The store is laid out nicely, my only complaint is I wish their men's department was larger, with a better variety of shirts and casual pants. The staff are friendly, and the customer service department seems to be also, located in the back of the store, with the restrooms. I'll be going back for a lot of my clothing needs!

Sometimes you will leave with a few things and sometimes you don't. The business' name makes you think you should be walking into a place with tag sale or at least low pricing. Unfortunately, that's not usually the case. Most of the selection is overpriced or "market price". I once purchased an item for the marked price, only after being told that I should be be charged more. Every time I have visited, the owner and an employee were discussing prices and what an item lists for. The loud discussions across the store are constantly happening while you're shopping. The chatter doesn't stop when you're trying to check out. I was taught that the customer comes first, before the phone and definitely before talking with a coworker. I think that I've made my last visit. I would rather shop where I feel that my purchases are appreciated.
