I was one of those people who thought why spend money on a pillow, it's just a pillow. That was until I started to experience neck pain to the point I could barely turn my head. I had tried many other pillows with no change. When I spoke with the owner, Michael Disibio of CT Mattress, he suggested a pillow he had. With nothing else to loose I tried it. Selling a product they can't deliver! We were told when we bought our mattress that it would be 4-6 weeks. We called at the end of the sixth week and were told that it would be another 2 weeks. After those 2 weeks we called back and were told they had no idea when the mattress would be delivered. They offered to screw another customer, because we complained, and give us their mattress, but still couldn't get it to us for another week or two. They are selling a product that they can't deliver, and that's fraud! My son bought a mattress from another company two weeks after we bought ours and he has his mattress now. They claim in their site "buy today and sleep better tonight!" Or twelve weeks later! Quality, Service, and Value all right here! Look no further! I was so confused as to what to get because of all my health issues. I had a conversation with Tom Wholley, he asked me about the issues I have and from there he knew exactly what I needed. The mattress was delivered on time by Hector and Jose, who were so kind and helpful. They spent time showing me how to use the bed (I got an adjustable) and set it up at the exact hight I needed. They cleaned up after as though they were never there. Because of Covid19 they came in masks, which was great. They even left a little box of chocolates. With Hector and Jose working for Connecticut Mattress I knew there wasn't a middle man. True to Connecticut Mattress's reputation their service from start to finish was second to none!! The mattress itself is amazing I got a King Koil mattress with an Adjustable base. I can actually sleep! On really back pain days I can go in and release all of the pressure points from my body and still work on the computer, watch tv or just listen to the birds outdoors. And whenever they do offer a sale, it is legit. After going to many stores in search of a new bed, each of which left us more frustrated and uncertain, my husband and I decided it was worth driving a little distance to the CT Mattress store in Southington. With the attention of a friendly and knowledgeable saleswoman, we were very clear on our mattress choice within about one hour. We also selected a headboard from one of their catalogues, with the understanding that this was a special order and would not be available for several weeks. When we paid for our purchases we were delighted to discover that the mattress, box spring, and frame would all be delivered within the week and that they would make a second trip when the headboard arrived. All at no charge. The bed we purchased turned out to be exactly right for us. But if it had not worked out, CT Mattress has the best return/exchange policy I've ever seen. If every business operated with the competence and integrity of CT Mattress, this world would be a much better place. If you're shopping for a new bed, you should most definitely check them out. We loved Ann! She was calm, patient and insisted we feel comfortable with the mattress and our choice. We explained why we need a new mattress and the way our bodies need the most support. As a registered nurse with back issues and going to the chiropractor 2 times a month, I need squishy with great support. In 2019 we purchased a mattress from Connecticut Mattress. At the time we were told that it would be 8-10 weeks before we could get a mattress delivered. If we wanted a mattress sooner, we could purchase one that they had in the back - it was not a display, just a mattress they were no longer selling. When we got to the register they told us that it was considered a "display" mattress and therefore there wasn't a warranty but if something happened, they would "do right by us". Well, two years later the $2,100 mattress is ripping at the seams and Connecticut Mattress is "doing right by us" by not returning calls or emails. We went into the store where the mattress was purchased and were given the name of a person that would call or email me back -- no contact whatsoever. Now we need to replace the mattress but will NOT be going to Connecticut Mattress. Extremely disappointed. read more

Went to the South Windsor store on Saturday with my daughter to purchase my 3 year old grandsons first big boy bed. The staff were absolutely fantastic. They have a 120 day initial trial period to try out the bed and make sure it is right for you. Fantastic experience. I work in the retail service industry so honesty, integrity, service and knowledge are very important to me. I stopped in after work because it's time to replace our 15-year-old mattress. I did not know that I was going to be working with the owner of the store. He knows as much about his mattresses as I do about the cars I sell for a living which is very impressive. I tried out a couple of beds then immediately went home to get my wife and son to bring them back to the store. Extremely knowledgeable when it comes to mattresses they let me demo as many mattresses as I wanted and told me about all of the different kinds of manufacturing methods used and what to expect from them. I did never once feel rushed during the process or hassled, they do not work off commissions... I got a great deal on a one of a kind mattress from King Coil from Windsor and they threw in fast & free shipping to boot and removed my old stuff, they charged a fee but donated that amount to charity (even though I was a little below the free shipping amount). First Mattress I have bought for my adult life and I couldn't have been happier with the experience.
