The escalators were not working and it was terribly humid -no AC in July! We gave up and left shortly after arriving, sadly....

    How Macy's delivered my package!

My mom and I always find great deals here. Plus it has a broad inventory. I still appreciate department stores.

Macy's in Buckland Hills is the worst store as far as customer service! Attitude problems everywhere! Nobody gives a crap or wants to work!

I was walking around in the beautiful weather…read moreyesterday and felt like I was in a movie with the light jazz music in the background, pretty lit up "BLOOM" flower sign photo op, comfy benches and patio chairs, and a wide variety of shops. The sidewalks are always so clean and even at night, I feel safe here. Parking can at times be a little difficult to come by, but the large angled spots are spacious. There are some great dining options that you don't see everywhere (although Ted's has been lackluster in the past), plus treat options like the famous Munson's, to give you a break to refuel on your shopping spree. This is a great place to catch up with friends or just get some errands done in a more relaxed and glamorous environment than an indoor mall.

I will miss Stonewall Kitchen which has just left. I enjoyed that store a lot. I frequent massage envy for facials and massages. Alia for facials and Becki for massages. I hope I can get in now that I have recommended them. I love Burtons fantastic quality and menu and since I am gluten free it offers so much for me. I enjoy Ted Montana's a lot. I love their bison burgers, hot fries and the salmon dinner are my go to's . There are so many wonderful shops that offer great service. The JCrew factory outlet is fab. Hill is a staple for me. I appreciate the staff at Lense Crafters and get all my glasses there. So much to offer. It's a gem!

It seems the thing that has been given the best face-lift here is the name. Driving around the…read moreoutside you can see numerous businesses that have closed and not been replaced, including a Sears, what looked like a Ruby Tuesday's or some similar restaurant, and a Bob's (wow!). You can see many additional empty stores as you walk around on the inside. On the plus side, it's very clean inside, and the stores that are here are still nice and varied. It's a pleasant place to shop if they have what you're seeking (which, fortunately for me, they did). The outside parking area is huge, and the outside of the access road tends to have new big box stores and hotels. As empty as it is, I've seen worse, and I've also seen other malls and shopping centers bounce back from worse, so perhaps there's still hope here.

This huge mall is also known as Buckland Hills Mall. It opened in 1990 and has about 145 stores…read more It's in a convenient location near the highway. There are two levels and parking was plentiful. The anchor stores are Macy's, JCPenney, Barnes and Noble, to name a few. They have plenty of restaurants and fast food in the food court. There's a carousel which reminded me of Warwick Mall in RI; however it was $5 per ride which is pretty pricey. My toddlers loved the play area; for some reason, that area was super hot when we went. The mall also reminded me of Aventura mall in Florida. I've never seen a tattoo shop in a mall but they have that. They also have a dentist office, hair salon, nail salon, spa, and eyebrow salon. A hotel is nearby. I loved that they had a dollar store in there too. You can pretty much spend a couple of hours there and it has most of your lifestyle needs. The perfect place to walk around in when it's too hot , too cold, raining, and/or snowing out. The place wasn't too crazy packed either, so it was an enjoyable experience.

"Okay, what you say Tell me what they're wearing this year…read moreGotta go, it's getting late I got a date with my tailor now You gotta look sharp" (Joe Jackson) I belong to a charitable organization that has an annual convention all over North America. I've been to some cool places like Atlanta, Montreal, Halifax, Anaheim, Reno, Calgary, Quebec City, etc. Its a three day affair that ends with a Banquet and Ball. In 2015 I became a national officer, and one of our traditions is that officers wear a white dinner jacket at the Annual Banquet and Ball. So years ago I bought a white dinner jacket from K&G. But over the years, some things have changed. First of all, K&G has moved to this current location, and second of all, I'm now down about 50 pounds from where I was when I first donned that white jacket. So now you you know the backstory of why I returned to K&G to buy a somewhat better fitting white jacket today. I found a beauty! It was more of a white tux jacket with black lapels, and man oh man was it sharp looking. I really wanted it but it had a tiny smudge on the left lapel and although it was close to my size, it wasn't exactly my size. Now this is where K&G's fantastic customer service swung into action. Valerie heard my dilemma and said there were no jackets in the style and size I wanted, but she walked us up front, called their Orange store, confirmed they had EXACTLY what I wanted, and arranged for them to hold it for me. We were there an hour later and bought it. I did buy a white vest in Manchester, and one of the cool things about K&G is if you text a code to them you'll get some sort of a discount. So we did that at both locations and saved $5 on the vest and $10 on the coat. After the discounts, the vest cost $29.99 and that sharp looking coat Joe Jackson sang about cost $89.99 (pre-tax). I could not have been more pleased with today's K&G experience.

I purchased two holiday suits here and I have had the best compliments about them. One was a red…read moretuxedo coat with matching tie and vest and the other was a red velvet blazer. I walked in and got such great help from Harry and the team. I wish I remembered the other associate's name because he really helped me with my color choices. Thank you so much! You know who you are if you are reading this! He helped me find the right sized pants and shirt- 17 1/2 collar and I looked so sharp at the awards event (The Crazies) I went to. Everyone loved it. I never had red suits before, so it was so awesome to make a bold color choice and really stick out. The red blazer I wore on two TV appearances I did this December. (NBC and CBS) It looked so good and festive on camera! I could not be happier with it. These were two of the best purchases that I have made in awhile and I also got texted a coupon for 25% off my entire purchase. I saved more than $80! Great value, looks and customer assistance- I will absolutely be back! Thanks again to the two gentleman that helped me! Happy holidays!
