Owner graciously met me downstairs, removed item from my car and took the time to inspect the item and point out the "gem" I procured as he compared my lounge to the "prefab won't-last-five-years chaise lounges of today. He asked questions on where the item will be stored (high traffic va low traffic areas of home) and when i answered he provided a plethora of fabrics to consider. Most importantly, he did NOT expect full payment that day! Whew!! What a relief. Starting a new business is expensive so not having to make full payment before work commenced made my day. Chair is absolutely a transformation. Comfortable and I can't wait to use as a prop. Love the oatmeal color I chose.

I had so much stuff that I had to bring it all up to the counter so that I could keep my hands free for further hunting around (unusual for me when I do any antique shopping - I usually only find 1 or 2 items at most). Sometimes you will leave with a few things and sometimes you don't. The business' name makes you think you should be walking into a place with tag sale or at least low pricing. Unfortunately, that's not usually the case. Most of the selection is overpriced or "market price". I once purchased an item for the marked price, only after being told that I should be be charged more. Every time I have visited, the owner and an employee were discussing prices and what an item lists for. The loud discussions across the store are constantly happening while you're shopping. The chatter doesn't stop when you're trying to check out. I was taught that the customer comes first, before the phone and definitely before talking with a coworker. I think that I've made my last visit. I would rather shop where I feel that my purchases are appreciated.
