I thought I would update my review because it has been over 3 years and I still use All Sharpened Up for my dog grooming tools in a regular basis. I've had years of reliable and impeccable services from Leigh Anne. Not only does she sharpen all my blades and shears to perfection but she has saved me from buying new clippers, blades and shears many times because she works magic. There have been a few times I think my clippers are done for. They have stopped working, have been loud, faulty and broken completely and she somehow always manages to fix them and it's like they are brand new again. I used to have to buy new clippers every year and I have had my current pair for almost 4! She has saved me so much money! Her prices are amazing, she is always honest, comes within days, sharpens my tools promptly and always comes through for me when I need her most! I appreciate you so much Leigh Anne! I called Leighanne on Saturday afternoon and she fit me in for the next day. She uses text which is perfect and let me know how far out she was from our location. She arrived on time and addressed my concerns with a couple of my knifes and scissors. She was very quick and returned my knives sharp and ready to go. PRICES: VERY REASONABLE! Short Ver: If there was something that could be improved, I don't know what it is. Long Ver: Communication was simple and quick to schedule a sharpening to take place within a couple of days. With pre-approval, I asked some additional neighbors if they would be interested in having some work done, and of course they were (Make sure to know prices ahead of time). I'm very happy with the work that was done. I had 5 knives sharpened and one had a fairly large chip in it. I had a Japanese chef knife, Japanese petty knife, nakiri, a German cleaver, and a Chinese filet knife. Leigh Anne got all my knives factory sharp and ready very quickly. Meet the Business Owner: Leighanne D.

All Sharpened Up started at my father's suggestion. He had successfully ran Central Valley Sharpening in Central California for a number of years. I studied with him, took classes, went to conventions, and learned how to work the machinery and every detail that goes into this incredibly detailed service. Having grown up in Brea, CA I love that I have an opportunity to work here and it's neighboring cities. Getting to know so many great business owners throughout the the area makes my job so much more satisfying.

But if they sell you an item that THEY took out of the box and have had on display, they want you to pay full price while claiming the item is still "new." We placed an order over the weekend for about $4,000 and were told it would be ready to pick up by Monday. I got there around 12, and the order wasn't ready. Not a big deal--we waited. Then we found out that one of the items included in our order was the display fridge. We told them we wanted a brand-new fridge in a box. The employee kept stating that they "just took it out of the box," but in reality, that fridge has been sitting there on display for a long time. We asked for either a boxed fridge or a refund. The employee did not hesitate to state, "I will meet you at the front and give you your refund," without even trying to offer another alternative or find a solution. There were no customer service skills from the employees or Buster, the manager. The situation escalated pretty quickly, and Buster very rudely kept telling me to stop talking instead of trying to handle the situation professionally and understand why we were upset. We have been doing business with Chef Toys for a very long time, but today they lost a customer because of Buster and the way this situation was handled. I do want to acknowledge and thank the Director of Sales. He understood the situation and very calmly tried to find a solution. Unfortunately, by that point, it was already too late. He showed the professionalism and customer service that we should have received from the beginning. He should be hired as the manager instead.

He sent Eric and his team to repair the leak and install new water valves; all three tasks were performed quickly and perfectly. On top of it, Eric's team found a second leak right by the first one and fixed that one too! Just a great job all around. Great service. I needed a 8ftx6ft birthday backdrop to be done in two days. I submitted a project quote here on Yelp and I had several responses from other printing shops including RedDot Printing. I was told my backdrop couldn't be done in two days, I was told that my image's resolution was too small, and other printing shops never responded. Z from RedDot Printing responds within minutes. He told me the same thing about my backdrop's resolution being to low for a huge printout, but what set him apart was that he took the time send me an email on how fix it so that he can print it. Once I fixed the image with his advice he said, "I can get that done in two days." and he delivered! I placed the order midday on a Wednesday and it was ready for pickup by 2:00PM on Friday. Pick up was seamless. He knew exactly who I was without introducing myself, he was friendly, full of personality, and so sweet. He unrolled the backdrop to show me his work and it was PERFECT! His price was cheaper than I imagined especially since this was a last minute request. I knew that I placed this order last minute and I knew I was an amateur with the design, but Z made my vision into reality. Z, thank you so much for everything. Your work is impeccable! I would highly recommend anyone give this place a call to sharpen your knives, scissors, and in cases like mine steel shear plates.
