Someone came out and handed them tickets and then once the tickets were handed out they were told they could leave and come back. Of course the boys left and then returned at 10:30. They had numbers on the tickets and when getting in line to purchase the needohs people were allowed to go in and make Needoh purchases that didn't have a ticket. Which was confusing and on top of that the order of the tickets were not being honored. It was very disappointing. Did they get Needohs yes, but was this event also unorganized and not well thought out 100%. I get that things happen and in cases like this people will be disappointed. It's also okay for Ace Hardware to admit, yeah we messed up. A side note, the Needohs were up priced, they were about $12.99 and the quality of the Needohs were not that great. A lot of inconsistencies and then looking into it more they aren't on the retailer list. All of these things can just be small mistakes and that is all fine but the event itself just seemed unorganized. Not the best experience. I heard they did sell out on overpriced Needohs, good for Ace Hardware.

I made my way out to the SoCo farmers market early morning to catch him to sharpen my 2 hair-cutting shears. He educated me on the types of shears I had and the his process in sharpening them with all of the different tools he had. Upon pickup, he had me check how well they cut with human hair extensions he had ready so that he could make any needed adjustments. Long story short, I brought expensive shears I had bought preowned not realizing that they may have been sharpened incorrectly before so he had to fix somebody else's work. He was so kind and didn't make me feel bad about it and was overall just so pleasant to work with. He sharpens all sorts of tools including garden, groomer, kitchen knives, clippers, etc. He's also mobile so long as there is a driveway for him. Please check him out!

I have some steak knives that are over 20 years old and had never been resharpened before. They had…read moregotten so dull that I thought I would have to throw them away, but they are Henckels, so they are nice enough that I didn't want to give up on them too easily. I had my husband bring them into Unlimited Bladeworkz for resharpening. They came back with narrower blades, but able to cut well again, which made me very happy. My husband said that Jason, the proprietor of the store, was friendly and knowledgeable, and he has brought in other kitchen knives and even pocket knives to be resharpened on subsequent trips there, all with great results. Thanks to Unlimited Bladeworkz, I will hopefully have another 20 years with our favorite family steak knives. This time I will have them resharpened sooner when needed. My husband also said that there was a sign outside the store that they resharpen scissors too, so that will be my next chore for him.

Met Gonzo, yes, that's how he spelled it, a delightful & enlightened staff member who was very helpful with recommending which would be best. We could've had a whole conversation for a half a day! In the end, I decided to think about it before purchasing one (turns out later, best decision I made all day) My glass measuring cup is in storage & I find it cumbersome so I bought a lighter version (2 cup). But if they sell you an item that THEY took out of the box and have had on display, they want you to pay full price while claiming the item is still "new." We placed an order over the weekend for about $4,000 and were told it would be ready to pick up by Monday. I got there around 12, and the order wasn't ready. Not a big deal--we waited. Then we found out that one of the items included in our order was the display fridge. We told them we wanted a brand-new fridge in a box. The employee kept stating that they "just took it out of the box," but in reality, that fridge has been sitting there on display for a long time. We asked for either a boxed fridge or a refund. The employee did not hesitate to state, "I will meet you at the front and give you your refund," without even trying to offer another alternative or find a solution. There were no customer service skills from the employees or Buster, the manager. The situation escalated pretty quickly, and Buster very rudely kept telling me to stop talking instead of trying to handle the situation professionally and understand why we were upset. We have been doing business with Chef Toys for a very long time, but today they lost a customer because of Buster and the way this situation was handled. I do want to acknowledge and thank the Director of Sales. He understood the situation and very calmly tried to find a solution. Unfortunately, by that point, it was already too late. He showed the professionalism and customer service that we should have received from the beginning. He should be hired as the manager instead.

Anyways, I showed up in the afternoon on a Tuesday, and I was the only one there. Shortly after walking in, a man who I presume is the owner, helped me out right after I said I had 2 knives to get sharpened. The front area has a big wooden cutting board that you can use to demo the knives out after they're sharpened, which I thought was cool. There's also walls and walls of cool knives, which I couldn't tell if they were for sale or for demos, but they were really cool to look at while I waited. The service was incredibly reasonably priced. I was out of there with sharpened knives in less than 10 minutes and the space was reasonably large. I hope that means the business is doing well. It certainly deserves to. I got exactly the service I requested. The quality of the knives was so good that my dad actually got a little cut after I gave them back to him. Nothing major, but was a bit funny and definitely proof that they were quite sharpened. The value for the time was extremely good. This is the type of small business that you definitely want to support, and I'll definitely be recommending Mr. Sharpe knives in the future.

I had a couple of kitchen knives that needed sharpening, one a high-end knife and the other a cheap one. The owner, an elderly gentleman who gave off an aura of a supreme master of knives, carefully examined each knife and said he could sharpen both. I paid the fee and was told they would be ready in a couple days. Four days later I called and was told the knives were ready for pick up. Both were sharpened nicely, like new. The cheap knife, which originally had some damage to the blade, was repaired and looked like the day it was bought 20 years ago. We are happy to have both of these knives back in our kitchen, ready to slice away. While I was there, I asked if they had any kitchen scissors and I was shown a couple of options. The differences between them were explained so I could make the best choice. I bought a pair and have been very happy with them!
