I made an appointment with Leigh Anne, she followed up to confirm our appointment, was on time as requested. In addition to providing a great sharpening of our knives, she comes to three house. She sharpened our 7 Shun knives including our serrated knives in about 40 minutes. The charge to sharpen the knives was very reasonable. Several of my kitchen knives were overdue for sharpening but the last shop that sharpened them didn't do a great job, leaving little nicks and uneven grooves. They're Global knives so I was weary about leaving them to just anyone. I called Leigh Anne/All Sharpened Up and she happened to be in my area and was able to stop by later the same day. She quickly sharpened all my knives and was able to smooth out the nicks, all in less than 20 minutes. My knives are great now and I don't worry about hurting myself while chopping. I contacted Leigh Anne yesterday and she was able to come by this afternoon to sharpen my knives. After reading all the wonderful reviews, I was expecting my knives to perform at their maximum capacity... and my expectations were met! I had 14 items that needed to be sharpened, and it took Leigh Anne a little over 1/2 hour to sharpen them in her van. Every single item performed magnificently after the sharpening. This is one of those services where everything just falls into place neatly. Leigh Anne goes the extra mile just for you: she'll work you into her schedule and come to you, she works fast (9 knives took like half an hour or less), her mobile van is clean and organized, she replies to texts even late at night, her fees are more than reasonable ($5 per knife)...and all she wants in return is for you to spread the word about her business. Well, I am more than happy to do so for someone like her. Leigh Anne is one of those salt-o'-the-earth, hard-working, business-oriented, down-to-earth, head-on-straight kinda people with a solid work ethic. She stands on the quality of her work and she'll tell you that if anything is not up to par then to contact her and she'll find a way to fix it. I know this because after she was done we spent about half an hour just talking about life outside in the parking lot of a Petco. You just can't go wrong with someone like her in charge. I'm a mobile dog groomer and was in desperate need of having my scissors and clipper blades sharpened. I had been putting it off because the company that I had previously used took 4 to 5 days to get them back to me and I really didn't want to have to cancel clients while I waited. This morning I found All Sharpened Up on Yelp and was super excited to see that they come to you and do all the work right there in the van. I texted the number, thinking I would probably have to wait at least a few days before they would be able to come out. Leigh Anne responded quickly and was actually going to be in my area today!
