The team was incredibly professional punctual and highly skilled. You can see from the before and after pictures of my firebox how much work they put in. The initial pictures (the completely black, sooty one and the one with the old, rusted grate) show how overdue it was for a proper cleaning. The after pictures (the one with the freshly cleaned white/tan brick new-looking mortar and the one with the cleaner grate) are a night and day difference it looks brand new! I was worried about the old cracking mortar/caulk and they handled the repair work with precision as you can see from the fresh neat-looking sealant they applied (the picture with the gray mortar/sealant). They also took care of the exterior chimney on the roof. The cap and the top of the chimney (shown in the pictures with the orange stucco and the gray textured top) were showing signs of wear and tear but they made sure everything was secure and looking great. Shortly after their service, our AC stopped working. The cause: tape they had applied around the UV light they installed had come loose. They came out, retaped it, and assured us this had never happened before. We gave them the benefit of the doubt. Some time later, the AC stopped working again. This time, the tape on the main plenum access had completely come loose -- again, their work, same issue. I was not willing to have them back in my home, so I called our own HVAC technician. He charged first to come out and then again to fix what their faulty taping caused. Their response? That they would have come fix it for free under warranty. That is not accountability. The point is that the same failure happened twice, and at no point did anyone take genuine responsibility for the disruption or the $400 I paid out of pocket. Instead I got defensiveness and a critique of my contractor's invoice. I deeply regret selecting them. Choose a company that gets it right the first time.
