They were not able to get to me on Friday, but I spoke to them and described what the issue was they told me what to look for and calmed my fears. Thanks to that I wasn't freaking out all weekend! I had two things that I wanted them to look at when they came on Monday. The toilet issue they fixed pretty quickly and I thought the price was very reasonable. The other question I had was about my water heater and they told me that I really didn't need to do anything with that but there was one area they suggested I just take a glance at every couple weeks. They even gave me a slip of paper that I can send to SAWS Due to my water bill having been higher because of the issue I had. There's a good chance that I might get a little bit taken off my next bill because of the paper they gave me. It's no guarantee of course but hey if it happens, great! I was very pleased with their work. Highly recommend. Updated 5/23/20 I did get $17.69 taken off my next bill because of the form I sent them that Kelso's gave me! Yay!

I wish to share good news regarding the experience I had with ME Plumbing in Seguin. My problem appeared simple. My second home in Luling had a sewer back-up. I examined my choices for the surrounding area and I contacted ME Plumbing as it appeared they are large enough to take on most any job but small enough not to have lost the personal connection with customers. We discussed the job and they quoted me a price. The price was "not the cheapest money can buy" but, my past experience is you get what you pay for. I feel I can speak on this subject with some authority as I am an Engineering graduate from Texas A & M University with 13 years experience at the General Motors Corporation and 30 years as a Senior Facilities Engineer at a semiconductor plant in San Antonio. Yes I was responsible for overseeing many contracted skilled trades including electricians, carpenters, pipe fitters, and plumbers. I wish I knew about ME Plumbing then! My simple 2 day job turned into a 10 day ordeal and I am glad I had ME Plumbing on my side. They brought additional equipment, additional man-power; all the time with a smile on their face and great sense of humor. Once the job was completed I tried to discuss how much the overage would be since the scope of work increased. THEY WOULD NOT HEAR OF IT! I paid what I was quoted. If you need plumbing work of any scale; do not pass on contacting ME Plumbing - a firm still doing business like it should be done. Many thanks to Michael, Martin, Katie, Hunter, Johnny, Mike, and Nick.

In 2022, I discovered my water heater was leaking…read more Alfred and Tobie arrived around 1:00 PM. After examining the water heater, they said the replacement would cost $2,425. They let me know that If I supplied the water heater, they could install it for approximately $700.00 - but it was obvious that I wasn't in a position to pick up a water heater on my own. They returned with a Rheem (approx retail cost $750.00), which didn't fit on the elevated base correctly - part of the heater now hangs over the edge. The job was completed in two and a half hours. When I calculated the costs of the job, I assigned $1,000.00 to parts and supplies, which left a $1,425.00 labor cost. For a two-and-half-hour job (which included the time spent picking up a water heater), the hourly labor cost was $570.00 for both Alfred & Tobie, or $285.00 an hour each. IMO, the costs were excessive and I felt that I was taken advantage of due to the situation. I contacted Bryco, but I never heard from them.
