He kept the appointment that he made. He corrected the problem. He charged a fair amount.

I don't often write reviews, but Aaron from Act Fast was so amazing I had to let others know! We asked him to hang a taxidermy moose on a second story elevation - no small feat. It weighed more than 75 lbs! He had to complete a modification to the wall to ensure it was safe! He was meticulous with his work and was so respectful of our property. Anyone can do a job, but if want it done right - please do yourself a favor and call Aaron! He will be our "go to" guy from now on! read more

I was putting up a security camera on side of house and needed to run power in attic. As I was making my way back to ladder my leg went through the sheet rock. I tried to get my self up and thought i was on some plywood and went through another piece, oh man almost fell from ceiling. Well we needed a person to repair all that damage, i did what i always do and went to Yelp first as usual Called people with mid 4 star reviews or higher Saw a 5 star handyman review with act fast I called about 4 different people and nobody return my call. I tried act fast only because it was 5 star, 3 times in total and finally he answered. I was glad I kept calling, this guy does quality work at a fair price. He will stay with job until it is done to your liking. This dude is super nice. I think my mom adopted him as a son. He definitely will be working on another project, he did a great job with the sheet rock, patching and painting small hole and replacing a attic ladder. Thanks Aaron read more

I hired Aaron from Act Fast Handy Work to add four additional power outlets in my home, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. Three were straightforward installs, but one needed to be moved up and to the right, which required some minor drywall repair--and he handled it flawlessly. Communication was quick and responsive, the workmanship was high quality, and the pricing felt very fair. I really appreciated the professionalism and efficiency, and I'll definitely consider using him again. I would gladly recommend Act Fast Handy Work to anyone looking for a reliable, skilled handyman. read more

Aaron was great. fast response. super reasonable price. work was exactly as asked and described for siding repair.

Aaron was true to the name: he acted fast! Not only was he quick to come to my home after I reached out to him, but once he got here, he was in and out in less than an hour to repair a light fixture. He got it all done, made a vast improvement to how things were before, and if I wasn't already impressed with the work done well, and hella efficient, his price was super reasonable! I'll definitely be using him for future handywork. Thanks Aaron, for being awesome. read more

I found Aaron, of Act Fast Handy Work, by doing my research here on Yelp. Nothing but 5 stars, and now I know why. My pressure regulator valve (PRV) blew out, damaging the pre-filter on my new water softener system, so I called a local plumber who lives right here in Timberwood Park. I set an appointment, and it turns out that the local plumber retired and a company from Austin had acquired his business. After their inspection, they quoted $2,200, labor only, to replace the PRV with an "add-on" cost of $800 dollars PLUS for parts. They refused to even quote replacement for my pre-filter, pressuring to sell me a whole house water purifier for $7,670.00 ... I guess it must have been made from pure silver. I called Act Fast, and it was Aaron to the rescue! He replaced the PRV same day, for only $520, parts and labor, then repaired some major plumbing issues while he installed my new, 2-stage pre-filter system. Aaron also replaced a large section of drywall that had been damaged when the PRV blew out the former pre-filter. The entire operation came out under a thousand dollars and now I have a great, reliable, clean, soft water system that works like a dream. If you have an estimate from one of those highly advertised, big companies, I suggest you check with a good, reliable, local guy like Aaron, of Act Fast Handy Work before you sign any contracts, regardless of the amazing financing and lifetime guarantee they might offer. read more

We needed some work done on our shower and trash can drawer. I tried the DIY method on both, but that's just not my forté. After checking our neighborhood social media page and doing a Google search, I came across Aaron's business. Being highly recommended and the great reviews played a major role in our decision to go with him and his company for our projects. We communicated via email, and I sent him photos of the work that needed to be done. He gave me a fair estimate of the costs, and that sealed the deal. Aaron and Frank came in and took care of business in the most friendly, efficient, and professional way possible! He explained exactly what needed to be done and how they were going to do it. When they were finished, Aaron went into greater detail about the work they did and any questions that my wife had. We will definitely call on him again and I suggest you do it too! read more

I requested a service to disconnect my washer and dryer at my old house and reconnect at my new house. Aaron was extremely polite and had great availability to help with this issue. He was pleasant to work with and the work was reasonably priced. I would definitely hire Act Fast again for other handyman's jobs and recommend to all my family and friends. read more

Great work! My husband and I bought a DIY aluminum patio kit to install to our existing concrete slab, but quickly discovered that we were in a bit over our heads with the sheer size of the kit. Act Fast Handy Work provided us with a reasonable quote for install, and completed the project within the estimated 2-3 day timeline as quoted with their crew. We basically just handed over the instruction booklet and the materials, and they did the rest. The backyard looks great! Thank you for all of your professionalism and hard work. If we ever need additional work done, we know who to contact now. read more

I called Aaron to get a quote on installing 2 bathroom sink faucets & a new shower/bath fixture combo. I had already purchased the faucets & shower head. Plumbers had quoted me over $1,300 to do the work. Aaron came over & showed me how the fixtures I had were incorrect for my vanities. I returned them the next day & purchased the correct ones. Aaron got the sink faucets installed & the new shower head & charged me $320. Huge savings and the work was done quickly! Unfortunately, the bathtub faucet I purchased wouldn't work, but Aaron found one that would work & I got that done for a very reasonable price, too. He even made a suggestion for our other bathroom shower head, which was installed at a very low height when the home was built. When that new fixture comes in, I'll call him back. Aaron is an excellent choice for your handyman projects. Call him! read more

We had them out for a couple of simple things (installing a new mailbox and installing a new bathroom faucet). They came out in advance, provided an estimate, and then came out after all of our parts had come in and did the installation for the price they had quoted.
