First of all, I want to apologize that I started this review for the service that was done June 1 of this year. I just now realized that I did not finish the review and all I did was leave five stars this visit was for the carpenter to take down all the wooden blinds from every one of my windows, and remove them from my home. The carpenter was efficient, prompt, and very pleasant. Two days ago, I filled out a online request of tasks that I needed to be completed. I immediately received a response from Fix it Freddy and an appointment for today. The carpenter David completed the tasks that I had listed on the online request and was very open with completing other tasks that I kept adding while he was in my home. All in all, from hanging a curtain rod, adjusting two doors, replacing a door lock set, and then painting the doors which was an afterthought of mine. I contacted the business and left a voicemail requesting assistance with assembling my exercise bike. The owner returned my call about 20 minutes later and asked for the details about the request. Per his instructions, I texted a photo of the equipment and the equipment name within 13 minutes. He then asked for my ZIP Code, which I provided right away. However, after sending the information, I did not receive any response until I reached out by text an hour later, asking for the price. He replied with a good rate, but after that all communication stopped. I attempted to call again and had to leave another voicemail, and this time my call was never returned. This inconsistency is extremely frustrating. If a business advertises availability and directs customers to voicemail, but then does not follow through or respond, it raises the question: Why have a business if you do not respond to customers? read more

Freddy and his team have been there for me time after time! They get the jobs done quick and with pleasant service. I have had his help fixing some odd jobs during a rent ready for a rental unit. They finished the laundry list of tasks in under 6 hours and with quality workmanship. This one service call they replaced a sink faucet, installed a new microwave, touched up the floorboards with paint, repaired a door jam, balanced two doors, and fixed a towel rack. The door repair was my main concern and you can see from from the pictures that they had this old house looking refreshed in no time! Hired Fix-It Freddy for a third time and received a quality result. This time it was to insert bird spikes to keep messy birds from continuously nesting on the front porch. He had to move our scheduled appointment to later in the day due to an unexpected event and gave us plenty of notice to accommodate. Spikes were put in and the mess from the birds fully removed. I have hired Fix It Freddy twice already! They do great work and are so kind. I wanted some Light bulbs replaced and bought the wrong bulbs because I didn't realize they were motion sensored and they went and bought the correct ones for me so that the job was done the same day. They also installed some weather strips all around my door and redid part of the door frame so it would fit perfectly. They installed latch plates. They took out my old tile floor and are laying down new flooring in my kitchen. They even offered to pick up the tile for me. They were very careful and made sure to take safety measures so that my original hard wood floor wouldn't be damaged when they had to move my fridge. They also stacked my washer and dryer. My wife and I have recently utilized this company's service for pocket door replay and repairs for our guest bathroom. This consisted of three pocket doors. While on the job they also fixed our bedroom door that was not latching properly. The work they did made us think of them when we started having an issue in three of our rooms with the old popcorn ceilings. We asked for a quote on the three rooms, but also had them quote us the entire house. We wanted the ceilings changed and because of the work they did previously we decided to do the entire home.
