We're a handy couple and can handle a wide range of projects--electrical, plumbing, renovations, and more--but replacing our main breaker panel was beyond our scope. Our situation was a bit unique: we needed the old panel removed and then a day or two to replace siding, insulation, and address any issues we found inside the walls before the new panel could be installed. Were scheduled to come at 12 and I finally said to the reception desk dude if they cannot be here by 3 then we will reschedule.
