When he returned to complete the installation, we asked if he could take care of a few additional items. He didn't hesitate, even using some of his own materials to help us out. He also shared valuable advice and insights that were extremely helpful for our project. Although he honored his original quote without any increase, we felt it was only right to pay him a little extra as a professional courtesy. We'll absolutely work with him again. I began researching professional permanent lighting and decided that route just didn't make sense for me cost wise for what I was looking for. Luckily utilized my other option when I found a great deal on permanent outdoor lights and jumped on it. Could have installed myself and it is doable, but...doing it solo bolo I would have needed a lot of available time, patience, and all the proper tools. If I didn't find anyone that met all my install lighting requirements, I would have attempted it myself. Well, after many companies and quotes I chose True Electric. From start to finish, Tony and Jerry were upfront, transparent, experienced, made helpful recommendations, knowledgeable, professional, hard working, great communication, understood and respected my vision, felt comfortable/easy to talk to, and they were more quickly reasonably priced considering the high quality services they provided in comparison. I do recommend if you plan on using them to put up permanent lighting you purchased; if the lights don't already come with all necessary hardware, make sure you provide them everything required to do the job/service. Like, additional clips to hold the lights. As the lights i purchased came with some, but not ones to make it look as good, secure and clean as mine now do. If you don't provide, that doesn't fall on True Electric. I purchased clips, but didn't purchase enough and they ran out so there were a few spots that could have utilized clips to secure certain areas better. Again, that's was on me as I didn't give them enough clips to secure those spots properly. They actually were understanding and came back to situate those spots when I quickly got more clips. They did not have to come back to do that, but were kind enough to do so at their earliest convenience. Spectacular job! I have already been getting so many compliment's. Also, doesn't hurt to ask if by any chance they offer any promotions you can take advantage of or other discounts you may qualify for. Keep in mind it is a smaller locally owned business. He came out and quickly assessed what needed to be done and the scope of work. However, I do have some minor inconveniences, one in his control and one out of his control: He originally quoted me a 8:45-9:30 arrival time, but texted me at that to let me know he will be arriving at 11:30-12:00 because his helper was late. It did end up making lose some time for work, but I understand this was beyond his control. The second instance, there was a misunderstanding. He originally quoted me about $850 to have what services I needed done, but at the end, it was just over $1000. It was a clerical error on the scope of work and I do wish that this was caught before we agreed to installation. But hey, estimates are called estimates for a reason, right? Minus the inconveniences, I would still recommend Tony. However, I would make sure to clarify any installation down to the crossing your t and dotting your i to avoid any and all confusing.

Robert is very friendly and super knowledgeable on how to tackle my situation. He explained the best way to run the outlet without tearing up the drywall and to best run the conduit around existing garage door opener mounts. Robert came back out the following week and took care of adding the new outlet and I'm super happy with the results! The plug to my lawn irrigation system was loose and kept losing power, and the system would…read moreoccasionally start watering on random days and at odd times of the day. In addition, we discovered a plug in a bathroom would occasionally lose power. In both cases, the situation would be resolved by resetting a GFCI plug in the garage. I was concerned that I may have damaged the wiring when I put up my pegboard or shelves on the wall. I looked around for an electrician, and yesterday I chose NES Electric. I'm so glad I did. It was easy to schedule an appointment and today Jason came over and fixed me up. I was impressed that he explained the many things that could be causing the problem. He clearly explained the many options and the downsides to each. I finally decided to follow his advice; first, he troubleshot the wiring, and determined I hadn't damaged the wires. What a relief. Then he replaced the GFCI plug, and then replaced the box and plug for the irrigation system. Based on his comments as he worked (I was asking him a lot of questions, so it took him a while), I expected a $300 bill. But at the end, it turned out to be a whole lot less. And, he said I had a one-year warrantee. What else can ask for ? good work, clear explanations of causes and a more than fair price. I'm keeping their phone number close to hand. Thanks Jason.

We had an electrical/AC emergency nightmare going on. 108* outside and…read moreabout 95* inside the house, as our circuit breaker failed and kept tripping no matter how often I switched it back on. Of course this came to a head a little after 5:30 pm when you would think all the service techs would have called it a day. I posted my emergency on Yelp, and Jason replied within a minute to ask a few questions and let me know he could be here within the hour. He made it here in 30 minutes. This is the service of yesteryear when it meant something to commit to the very best. Jason explained thoroughly how these breakers can take a turn and fail when not properly maintained. (In our case we had some screws that were loose, causing the intermittent flow to tax the breaker) We had used our home warranty service to have an AC guy look at the problem previously (before the breaker completely failed) and he had completely misdiagnosed the problem. Beware using "home shield" vendors, as they are paid very little and will fit the repair with what profits them the most! It was quite a fiasco until NES came out and solved it in a snap.
