He carefully evaluated both upstairs and downstairs GIFs and demonstrated to my husband and I how to know if they were working properly or needed replacing. He then went into the garage to evaluate the GFIs there as well as the breaker box. He explained the difference between all the breakers and replaced all needed. After all work was down he went throughout the house and checked everything. Price was very reasonable for all the work performed. I requested a new 110V outlet since we currently have a 220v outlet. Zachary came out did a great job! It looks very clean, professionally installed, and he even cleaned up afterwards. He had to cut into the Sheetrock and he did a clean cut so he was able to put the Sheetrock back and nail it back into the studs. He was in time and they have given me an estimate before coming over. It went over just a bit of the original estimate, but they did ask first and did tell me the exact cost before I agreed to let them do the job or not. This is a great company and Zachary was friendly, thorough, did a great job and cleaned up afterwards. I definitely will use this company again in the future if needed. read more

I can't recommend Edgar enough. Great work for very reasonable price. I initially hired him to have a NEMA 14-50 plug installed, and he installed the plug quickly and for a very fair price. He showed up on time and there were no issues. After the outlet was installed, I hired him to come back the next day to install an outlet for a new oven that was set to arrive. He showed up the next day and did an excellent job the second time as well. I kept his card and plan to use him whenever an electrician's services are needed. read more

I would highly recommend this contractor Bright Electric for several reasons, first of all when I solicited for the job he came back with a flat rate of $125 to install a new electrical outlet in my garage ceiling in order that I can plug my garage door opener directly into it. This compared to a couple of other estimates which were in the range of 220 to $250. Bright Electric was available immediately and arrived right on time ready to complete the task, the two employees that did the job were very courteous and professional and consulted with the boss when I asked about an add-on to the job. I was very impressed by the service provided yesterday by Bright Electric. Our bathroom heater/light/exhaust fan combo stopped producing heat Friday eve. I quickly ordered what I thought was the same exact model for overnight delivery Sat. a.m. Once I knew it had arrived, I began looking for an electrician to install it. I checked Yelp and saw that Bright had good reviews and called. Edgar immediately answered the phone and said he could come and install it later in the afternoon for what I felt was a very reasonable price, especially for a Saturday! He let me know when he and his co-worker were on the way and they were able to swap out the units even though the one I had ordered was smaller than the existing one. They worked on it till they were able to get it to work which I greatly appreciated since the heater is really needed to comfortably shower in this weather! They left the space clean and didn't charge extra for the time they spent "making it fit." I will definitely be calling them again for all my electrical needs! Highly recommend! read more

I'm always a little apprehensive about hiring a technician I haven't worked with before, but I needed day-of service (on a weekend) to fix a power issue with my water heater. I had already attempted to schedule service with two other companies who either never returned my call or needed to reschedule for another day. I found Bright Electric and was quickly put in touch with JD. He took the time to understand the issue over the phone, arrived on time, and came prepared with the tools and new equipment needed to do the job. He was very professional, walked me through everything he was going to do, and fixed the issue in an hour for a reasonable price. He even offered to come back the next day (on a Sunday) and upgrade the breaker with no additional labor charge, and followed through! I don't write a lot of reviews, but my experience with JD and Bright Electric was outstanding.
