Dana's report indicated that while there was a single area of the roof that was holding water, the roof was otherwise fine. Well, within a month of moving in we had massive water intrusion problems in multiple areas. Of the four areas we had water intrusion in, only one was identified by Dana, and they failed to note that entire sections of the roof tiles were rotten and needed replacing. Somehow they also failed to notice any signs of water damage within the home itself. I cannot in good faith recommend Dana and I feel like they let us down pretty badly with their inspection.

Don't pay in advance until you've seen the problem (and their "fix") with your own eyes with this company. But the 'work' they do is acceptable...just make sure you need to have work done first, BEFORE YOU PAY THIS COMPANY, because they will not refund you any money that they overcharged to you for unnecessary services.

The report was delivered to us and Nationwide has forced us to take some actions - some legit, a few were at best dubious. Those that were dubious were also documented in at best, an ambiguous way - not specific. As well, Nationwide has "moved the goal posts" on us multiple times. The Cornerstone inspector claimed railings were required when the "porch" or "deck" were 24" off the ground. Nationwide insisted we put up railings - "Code" requires railings at 30". The inspector did NOT measure those locations - nor provide any detail. I would certainly choose Cornerstone to do my pre-sale inspection where likely I could pay the guy to say anything I wanted.
