I called Mark as soon as the power was back on - needless to say he was busy they were out within a couple of days. He personally checked the equipment provided various options for me to select from. Once decided the equipment was secured and beautifully installed. He oversaw the installation and we chatted where he shared his focus on family and his commitment to not do business on the weekend and devote that time to family - I was impressed!! Two years later the pump motor starts eating capacitors then fails completely (on a Saturday of course) so I call Mark knowing he won't answer on the weekend but will return the call promptly on Monday which is exactly what happened. He had a technician out the next morning to look at the pump and confirm it was a warranty issue, he then worked with the manufacturer to get a new motor out and installed at zero cost to me. He communicated with me daily on the status of the parts, worked with the vendor to get a motor expedited and get me back online. All in all and excellent experience! To the reviewer who complained that they do not respond to pool "emergencies" on the weekend I have to shake my head - it's certainly a first world problem to consider not having a pump system running on your personal pool over the weekend an "emergency". I applaud Mark and his team for not only their work but their appreciation of and support for their families - no one will die if your pool system is down for the weekend (the water will still be there)

They are definitely not the cheapest but we felt like we were paying for quality service. (Although Mark refuses to respond to emergencies on the weekend since that is "his time".) Other than that, everything was going well. Until recently, Unified was out cleaning the pool and the technician for some reason couldn't get the spa blower to turn off. Well the circuit board had short circuited. Thankfully we had someone here remodeling our bathroom and he was able to help the technician get it off. Mark arrived and reasoned that our variable speed motor that he advised us to purchase and was installed by him was not getting the power it needed. He stated and I quote "when he installed the motor for us they didn't know that the amps in the breaker box needed to be 20 and we only had the motor on a 15amp. (Well hell it's your job to know that before you install NOT mine.) Our circuit board had shorted out and needed to be replaced for $1500+. In addition we needed to run a new line from the breaker box to the pool because we had to up the amps and that was another $3000+(not an electrician so lingo might be a bit off). We advised Mark that he didn't let us know about the electrical side that was needed and asked him if he would offset some of the cost since now we have to pay for both a circuit board and to run the line! This man said he will have to back out and discontinue our services! He canceled our services and left us with a pool that we couldn't turn on. I simply couldn't believe it. BE WARY OF BUSINESSES WHO CANT STAND BY THEIR WORK.

I reached out recently when one of those heaters failed, and they absolutely knocked it out of the park. Paul, the technician, did an incredible job - he was fighting for my warranty and had the new replacement swapped out in no time. Sheri went above and beyond as well; she actually came out personally on site to meet with the Jandy representatives to prove the unit needed to be completely replaced. They came in professional smart and knowledgeable they quickly won our bid and eventually signed with them. The reason they won out bid is because of all the positive things they were saying. They were promising us to be there everyday that there was workers and that their contractors were a phone call away waiting to work. Promises we quickly learned were empty. Michael and mike started off great on the physical work. The workers came in and dug the pool formation and quickly set the steel within 2 days but that was as bright as this project got to be. From that point forward they spiraled downhill and quickly. Days became weeks before workers would show up and every time there would be an excuse as to why someone didn't show up. On multiple occasions I'd stay put at home waiting for workers to show up and they never would. I would let it slide but after multiple experiences I quickly noticed I had gotten myself into something bad. My pool was being built from June17 and wasn't finished till mid August. With about a month of wasted time. With all the wasted days that had past Michael made the decision to go ahead and plaster my pool before the deck was even complete because of Harvey coming and a decision I was never notified of. Unfortunately his workmanship shows in the plaster and other professionals have told me the plaster was rushed and done very bad. When the storm passed they came back to finish my deck and drainage. Please be completely aware of this company they are not professional and it is much safer and less of a headache to go with the bigger companies.
