So here is our story. We signed to build a pool in September 2020. This is our second pool, so we knew what to expect and what should happen. What we got were excuses, delays, unfinished projects, crooked walls, improper drainage, zero equipment, electrical not grounded from the pool, no electrical done for an equipment install, no sprinkler, no stonework, they forgot the step in the spa, unfinished and crooked fire pit, unfinished plumbing, a loss of tens of thousands of dollars, no plaster, a deck we had to redo...oh, and a lien placed on my property because a subcontractor wasn't paid. Con Artists!!! That's the best way to describe Amy and Tony (Anthony) Salazar. They take your money and don't finish the job. Whether doing business as the now defunct Allegiant Pools, the newly minted Allegiant Construction and Design, Reel Cocky Fishing Apparel or any other names or ventures they rename or rebrand to, they will take your money. They will blame COVID. Go back and look. These complaints started prior to that. They will blame deaths which legal investigators found they were on a family vacation, not a funeral. They will take your money, promise promise promise but never deliver. They come in with their fancy software and nice looking stuff but after they have your money, they stop calling halfway through the project. They will come have a "face-to-face" meeting and lie straight to your face. They will NOT make your backyard better and if you actually do your homework, you'll find most "good reviews" are friends or family and not actual clients. They will provide "receipts" then say they haven't paid for your stuff yet. They say they left the security deposit with the HOA then the HOA says they've never heard of them. They literally can't keep up with their lies and who they've told what, yet it's all in writing and when they're caught, it's a new excuse. And if ALL of that is not enough to dissuade you: go Google "Allegiant Pools" or "Anthony Salazar" and look at the court cases where people are suing them for falling pool walls, failure to pay vendors and obviously the homes and families suing over failure to complete promised work. They will take your money and all that will ever actually get delivered is excuses. Stay away....at all costs before it costs you! Because now they're will be one more lawsuit, but a criminal lawsuit since they're proud to brag "we've filed bankruptcy so a civil suit will get you no money." Which, also makes you laugh because they company is dissolved and they're still concerned about reviews. So much so they will give you empty promise after empty promise they'll complete the work, then never call or text back for weeks at a time! No lights in the pool, no heater, no finished deck, no fence around our AC units, no pergolas, no tanning ledge chairs, no drains covered, skimmer not working .....the list goes on, and on, and on, and on....... We hired Allegiant on October 28th, 2020 to resurface our pool and change the tile. First of all, Allegiant plastered with the wrong color quartz. I understand not every shade will turn out exactly like the sample, but I asked for gray and they put in blue. On top of that, the finish was streaky and mottled. You can see for yourself in the pictures attached. Tony said that the plaster company (who, by the way, left cigarette butts throughout our property and an oil stain in our driveway) admitted they made a mistake and that they would upgrade us to a pebble finish for $800. Allegiant took our money for that on December 5, 2020 and I haven't heard ANYTHING from Amy or Tony about when the work will be done. Amy estimated that the project would be completed in 10 days and it has been 105 with no end in sight. To add insult to injury, we received an invoice from one of Allegiant's subcontractors who were not paid by them. The subcontractor sent us a notice threatening to put a mechanics lien on our property. Awful. Worst experience with ANY sort of contract company in all my years! Tony and Amy have both explicitly ignored my emails, calls, and text messages for days, sometimes up to a week. When Tony and Amy said that someone will be out to complete a project on our pool, no one would show up; when asked about no one showing up I would not hear from them for DAYS. Paid for equipment that was never brought to my home or installed, never had the plaster done; most unprofessional company with excuse after excuse. If I could give 0 stars I would. When we first went with Allegiant, Amy and Tony were great, at that time I would have given them 5 stars! Sadly...over the months, customer service, follow-up and their task completion has significantly decreased. I understand that now we are dealing with COVID-19, but the issues with Allegiant started before the pandemic hit us in March. We have dealt with excuse after excuse, and many no-shows after being told workers would be coming to complete things. We paid to have the pool plastered back in January and it is now May and my pool has still not been plastered. We also have dealt with many unanswered text and emails. Ultimately, we are EXTREMELY disappointed in the lack of communication, and service. We were told the entire job would take 13 to 14 weeks (they started in December 2019), and we were given a schedule of payments. There are payments we have made for jobs that were never completed. It is very upsetting to feel taken advantage of, especially when we trusted them. It took over5 months. Had issues after the job and took them over 3 months to fix it. Finally fixed it (most of it anyways) and never heard from him again. His guys left and he never called to see if it was right. Still not completely right. Very disappointed. read more

We had a good experience while construction. After construction and after sale service was/is not up to the mark. I had to make several calls and send text messages to make them move. About almost 6 months after, we were having really heavy water bill and I could see water draining from the front of my house. We ended up figuring out there was an underground leak near the where they had installed the swimming pool equipment. I called them, they came after 4-5 days to take a look. Had their sprinkler person come and blamed it on the sprinkler head. It didn't get fixed after fixing the sprinkler head either. They kept on coming every 4-5 day just to check if the water was leaking, which it was but they didn't really do anything and disappeared. I texted Tony a couple of times and he kept on saying the guys coming today, tomorrow, etc and it has been over a month now, no one has turned up to fix the issue. I am calling some other company to come and fix the problem. So, if you are considering them, please be very careful. They might leave you hanging in the middle after the project is done. read more

This is a fantastic company. They came out and fixed an issue with our lights (the pool wasn't built by them) quickly and fair price. We also had them resurface our out of date and scarred pool and it looks like a spa pool now. He could not have been more attentive or helpful and he made sure we were happy with our end result.
