I brought this to their attention and had no response, so I had to direct the crew to correct it and remove the duct tape and apply silicone. They broke our gas line and we had to call 911, the work crew continued working despite an active gas leak, which is dangerous for everyone. There were many other communication issues on top of tbis I won't dive into. But when I build my next pool at my new property I would not use the Pool Man again. If you decide to go with them, you will need to watch all the work like a hawk and be prepared to be assertive with issues until they are resolved correctly. The process won't be "smooth." I sincerely regret using the pool man and do not recommend them to anyone based on my personal experience.

After consistently paying for their services, our relationship has ended in total frustration and what I can only describe as a scam. 1. The "Ghost Visit" Scam: For years, service was performed on Friday mornings. Now, they show up whenever they feel like it. This week, a technician arrived on a Wednesday without any notice. My gate was locked for security, and instead of knocking on the door or calling me, he simply left. Shockingly, I then received a notification that the service was "COMPLETED." When I called to complain, they told me that if a technician can't enter the property, the visit is still counted and charged as a full service. Charging a long-term customer for doing absolutely zero work is unacceptable. 2. Incompetence & Laziness: When they actually do manage to get into the yard, they stay for maybe 5 minutes. They toss in some chemicals and leave the pool filthy--covered in leaves and tree branches. When confronted, they make excuses about "low water levels" or "poor circulation." Here is the reality: I pay for professional service precisely so THEIR experts can adjust the timers and regulate the system. Expecting a client to manage technical settings while paying for a "full service" is ridiculous. 3. Zero Communication: I cannot keep my gates open 24/7 waiting for a technician who refuses to stick to a schedule. A simple knock or a phone call is apparently too much to ask. Bottom line: After years of loyalty, they have proven they no longer care about quality or honesty. If you want a company that actually cleans your pool and respects your time, stay far away from Cabana Aquatech.

We worked out all the details and his crew was even able to get it entirely done while I was gone for a week (handy since that meant my pooch was gone to boarding). Resulting patio is outstanding... smooth, but with a patterned surface that grips the feet even when wet, looks amazing and will be a great addition to my home's value if I ever sell in the future.
