I'm here looking for a replacement chainsaw. I trust the Stihl brand as I have used them for decades. All Seasons had a fantastic display wall with what looks like one of every chainsaw model available. I was able to examine all the models that interested me, check out the different options and make an unhurried choice. The store was also well stocked with weed eaters, rototillers, augers, branch trimmers... it goes on even into some E-Bikes. Then there's the Husqvarna wall and all the equipment they provide. The service department staff are fairly busy as it is an active store, but still they are very friendly and polite. I opted for the MS251C. They brought it out and gave me a quick rundown on its features and strengths. We got the warranty registration done right there and I'm out the door with some new equipment. It turns out that they will even check out my old saw to see if it can be turned in for a few dollars in my pocket. I am very satisfied with the service, my last purchase from them was 24 years ago and that saw lasted all this time. =============== Update I just returned from dropping off my old MS 310. They will refurbish old equipment and sell those at a discounted rate. So not only did I get a new updated saw, I also got a nice chunk of change for my old one to be recycled. Terrible customer service. They took two weeks to diagnose my chainsaw, and recommended that I replace the ignition coil (I dropped it off after installing a brand new ignition coil). They could not guarantee that another new coil would fix the problem, but said I would still have to pay for the part and labor to install it. After declining the repair, they returned my saw completely disassembled in a box....saying if I wanted them to put it back together I would have to pay extra! When I asked why it was disassembled they said it was my fault for not doing the repair they had recommended. This was all while dealing directly with the store manager who had a very poor attitude and even worse customer service skills. I will literally go anywhere else from now on read more

Bought a BRAND NEW Husqvarna mower from them. Within 5 weeks of normal use, 3 separate parts broke, including a fuel leak. They offered free replacements and fixes, but after the 2nd fix, we brought it back home - mind you, we had to coordinate and borrow a trailer to haul it there, 20 miles one-way - and it started leaking fuel again before we even unloaded it off the trailer! So we had to haul it up all the way back again for the third time, so they could actually fix it. We requested to swap out the mower (for the same exact one) because this is a lemon, and it was just barely outside the return window when all these problems started, and they refused to do so unless we pay a 10% restocking fee. They offered us a free air filter and a tune-up instead - because apparently that's worth 6+ hours of our time, gas, and hassle. Not impressed! read more

Bought a chainsaw from this business couple of years ago, it stopped running. Called their service number multiple times, no answer, I called there sales department, who answered their phone almost immediately and transferred to to the service department, only to receive the usual message that they are to busy to take the call, I won't do business with a place that can't be bother to answer their phone or offer a call back. And looking at all the bad reviews this place has, I decided to just by the part online I need for the chainsaw and install it myself, and save at least $120 and the aggravation of dealing with these clowns read more

I wish there were several ways to rate All Seasons Equipment in Eugene, OR. Unfortunately there is not, so I'll begin with the positive. They have a wide variety of gas powered and battery operated equipment. I have purchased both gas powered and battery operated. No major issues with the equipment yet, until I recently brought 1 in for minor service. That's where the negative part comes in. The customer service is lacking. Terrible follow-up and terrible communication with the customer. Seems as if there's no appreciation for the customer or their time. Once a customer drops off equipment for service, they're told "someone will get back to you tomorrow". After a few days not hearing back, the customer should not have to pick up the phone more than 4 times to find out when their equipment will be ready for pick up. They seem to believe their customer should just wait or guess. They demonstrated they have no value for the customer's time or schedule. Their phone hold times are horrible. Customer don't want to hear "we're understaffed". That is not the customer's fault or concern. It's management! I would rather pay more and receive quality service than have to chase down a business for something minor! This is another reason why Big Box stores are shutting down smaller businesses. You get what you pay for. Unfortunately, at All Seasons, you pay more and get a lot less! read more

I was originally told they were running a week behind so I called 10 days later to get the current status. They had not even looked at it. After servicing my leaf blower(3 week late) for $72 I was told they were not able to locate a specific cable so the blow will not work!! Thanks for nothing All Season Equipment. I recently took my chain saw in to get a tune -up, When I went to pick it up they were not at all helpful,I thought it was not running any better so then they tried to sell me a new carb, for it I relayed that I was not satisfied and they basically told me tough luck and get out of the store, their treatment of customers is awful, my best advice is to stay away from these guys. read more

I have purchased a used riding lawn mower from All Seasons Equipment for the second time. The first mower was trouble free. The recent purchased mower has been troublesome. There were a few issues that made the mower unusable after purchase. I contacted All Seasons and had to bring it back for repair. Three weeks for part and repair. One trip around mowing area and again had to return mower for repair. Two weeks for parts and repair. Now the mower is working very well without issue. All Seasons Equipment took care of problems at no charge to me and now I smile as I keep the grass down with a working mower that appears to be trouble free. They were nice at first. Took my riding mower in to be serviced for a slipping drive belt. Said they had to order in a new belt, not in stock. After a few days got the call that the mower was ready for pickup. Took it home & it was no better than before they worked on it. Also charged alot, I believe $150, for having to drop the deck to access the pulleys in order to install the new belt. Went back to them with the mower to show them the situation by driving it around & they said it was better. I disagreed. Got into a heated exchange in telling them the servicing did not help. Decided to go up the street to Emerald Power. Not only did they have a belt in stock but he was able to change out the belt in a couple hrs time & did not even have to drop the deck. I believe I was charged approx $30 for the service + cost of a new belt. Drove it around some out back & could not believe it. Went back to All Seasons to show them the repair from Emerald. Wanted my money back. They did not think it was running any better than what they did. This is where things totally went to hell & the argument ensued. After a few minutes the owner decided he had had enough & told me he did not want my business & to leave the premises & never come back. Spent alot of money there and did not get taken care of. Very upsetting. Bottom line: Stay away from these rip offs at All Seasons. They charge way too much for a simple fix they do not seem to know about. And when confronted the owner & manager don't want to hear it. Their niceness quickly disappears & devolves into a very unpleasant situation. I will tell anyone that asks to avoid this rip off establishment. Still upsetting when I think about it and it's been over a year ago. read more

I sent my rider mower in for regular maintenance when they notified us of their free pickup and delivery. Got the mower back with no paper work and they claimed they had checked it all out and was ok. A few days after it was dropped back off and the rained stopped, we went out to the I closed building it had been stored in and it would not start. I had to jump start it. This made me suspicious so I looked at the mower blades and saw obvious rust on the blades from being used for quite some time. I have sharpened mower blades before and you get a shiny area for at least a month after sharpening. We had no choice but to take the mower out to cut the grass. If dull blades cut just like sharpened blades, there would be no reason to sharpen mower blades. Well, the mower mowed the grass just like a mower needing a blade sharpening. Big surprise. Before mowing, I took pictures of the rust on the blades and emailed the photos to All Seasons. After telling All Seasons all of the above, they insisted that they had sharpened the mower blades and were under the belief that rust will appear on sharpened blades immediately! At $165 for regular maintenance, you would think the mower would start right a way and the blades would be sharpened. read more

I dropped of my riding lawn mower to have the deck leveled and spindles replaced. I was asked if I wanted to go with a new deck, I said sure. My deck was replaced with a rusted out deck that fell apart in pieces. When I inquired about my functioning deck I was told it was scrapped. Now I am with out a deck for my mower. I also bought a saw from them and took it in to replace the brake because the plastic was warping. I got my saw back and the brake wasn't replaced and the pull cord wouldn't pull. I took to another shop and they discovered the brake safety was broke, the clutch wasn't working , and the pull start spring broke. I am done having my time and money wadted with incompetent repair service. All seasons has lost me as a customer. read more

I needed someplace to figure out why my 11 month old STIHL blower all of a sudden had no power. Initially, I took it back to the place of purchase (NOT All Seasons) and they wasted two weeks doing nothing. Several less than stellar Yelp reviews gave me pause, but I went to All Seasons' service department anyway. I had never done business there before. I am extremely pleased with their service. They took the blower in on Monday and I explained and showed them the problem. They called 48 hours later stating it was fixed. The problem was mine, not a warranty issue. They explained why it happened, how to avoid it happening again and sent me on my way with very reasonable charges. Now, after several hours of continuous use, I know they solved my problem. I could ask for nothing else. I won't hesitate to use All Seasons' service department again. read more

I have had such bad experience at this store that I cannot give it few enough stars. It's unfortunate that they're one of the only Stihl dealers around, and we in Eugene are forced to get our equipment serviced here. I bought a brand new arborist saw there, and it ran terribly, stalling out mid-cut. I took it in to get it fixed, they treated me like I didn't know what I was talking about, charged me $50 more to "service" the saw, and it still ran poorly. I took it in to a shop in another town, they found the carburetor adjusted funny, and a cheap chinese fuel filter in the saw - they fixed it up and it now runs wonderfully, like a completely different saw. My neighbor had a similar experience at All Seasons, where after he brought in his weedeater for service, it ran like crap afterwards. I believe that these guys are doing intentionally shoddy work to people's machines so they can charge for extra service. read more

I don't even want to give them one star ! 37.50 for an estimate of $150 to rebuild the carburetor on a $200 chain saw. That on top of the 150 I will be charged for the weed eater tune up. I would strongly suggest taking your chainsaw / weedeater / blower a block down the street to Mr. chainsaw and stay as far away from this business as you can get. The very low rating says it all and I have the feeling you only go there once. I would not even use their bathroom ! read more

OK, I would happily give this establishment a 5 star review if they would only allocate more staff to help all of us eager customers out. I have been in there to buy equipment a couple of times in the past year, and each time I go in there I have to be hasty in grabbing the attention of a clerk before the next guy gets him. However every time I get a staff member they are genuinely pleasant, helpful, and suggestive. The store is clean, well organized, and they offer a handsome selection of equipment that will moisten the lips of any equipment aficionado. Absolutely the worse customer service in the world! It took 7 calls to get them to come out and do a very simple hydraulic leak. This is a warranty repair on my brand new tractor. They didn't do it correctly and it still leaks. After more calls they came and picked it up to have their shop look at it. After two days they had done nothing! I asked when it would be finished and they had a million excuses. Ten years ago I purchased a beautiful tractor from Mid-Valley tractor. Those guys do things right! Bought $500.00 model 311 stihl in 2011. I have only about 37 hours on saw. Used yearly for firewood. Wouldn't start last june. They charged me 100 plus for new fuel line and tune up. Have been back four times telling them is not running right (flooding). Today told me to read my owner's manual, and told to go somewhere else, after I told them they should foot the bill for getting it running right. They do not deserve anyone's business; I will do business elsewhere from now on, and you should too. read more

Not at all surprised by the low rating this business already has. I was compelled to write a review after getting my Chainsaw serviced there. I will never bring another piece of equipment to be serviced by these guys. I had brought in my Husqvarna to get the starter cord replaced and when I came in to pick it up I was told that they couldn't get it started after installing the new cord, the reason being that the saw had low compression and a scorched piston. They proceeded to tell me that the saw was basically a lost cause as they no longer made replacement parts for this model (it's a 20 year old Husqvarna) therefor they would be unable to repair it. I was surprised by this seeing as it had been working fine just a day earlier before the starter cord broke. I decided to take it into my local saw shop over in Florence OR for a second opinion and I'm so glad I did! The young man working there quickly recognized that it was flooded, cleared out the gas from the spark plug and got it running on the second pull. checked the piston and said there was a mark on it but it wasn't scorched and also pointed out that the starter cord that they installed was too small and hadn't been tightened properly, all that and he didn't even charge me. Had I listened to All Seasons I would be out $600 on a new saw!! read more

This is the shop I take equipment to when I cant find good service near me, always fair and honest. I had a couple of bad experiences in salem and as a result won't step foot in that place again. I picked up a saw after service from another shop and it died, I took it all the way to All Seasons and it was diagnosed with a bad ignition module that was obsolete and they sold me a saw. It is the most powerful saw I have owned (Stihl 311). read more

I was not impressed with their service.I recently took in my Stihl chainsaw and explained EXACTLY what it was doing.They informed me they could tune it up for 49.00.I agreed to this .They called me the next day and informed me it was ready and also it was running just the same as when I brought it in.When I began to question them on this they pretty much said tough luck.Said they could really fix it for another 50.00.seems they dont really care much about giving good service anymore.Too bad they used to be a good dealer.I will going over to springfield from now on. read more

I have purchased several pieces of equipment here in the past. Prices on equipment seem fine and fair and they have a big variety. The service is the big problem. I always do exactly as they tell me to when to comes to storage and fuel. More times than not the machines don't run well and they will try to charge handsomely to find out the problem and replace carburetors etc. Just picked up my string trimmer after it had serviced only a few months ago and I paid $120 for a new carburetor. I will be doing my business elsewhere from now on. read more

I took my Stihl chainsaw to All seasons as they were a Stihl dealer. The saw needed a tune up consisting of a new pull cord, spark plug and filter. I was told I would get a call 2 days later. no one called so a week later I called to check on my saw. The service staff stated they were working on it right then and I could pick it up the next day. I picked up the saw and paid the bill went home and started it. Ran the saw for about 5 min under very light load when it stopped working. No compression. I took the saw back to all seasons and told them the issue. They said they would get back to me the next working day. They did not. When I finally went in to find out what was going on I was told my saw had a burnt piston and needed a $500 rebuild. As I am picking up my saw another customer walks in with the same issue. He too brought his saw in for work and now it wouldn't run. I took my saw to another shop and they said the carb had been adjusted too lean and that is why the cylinder failed in the manner it did. I contacted the manager to discuss the issue and was told I would be taken care of, I have not. Unless you want to gamble with your equipment I would advise taking your power tools to another shop with a better track record read more
