My spouse was a memory care resident for the last 18 months. Before I could get him transferred to…read moreanother facility, in a recent 7 week period, he was in the ER 5 times -- a head injury requiring many stitches, bruises/cuts to various parts of his body and a displaced fracture to his collar bone where surgery could not be performed due to his dementia. The ER doctor told me he was not getting the care he required. Also the ER notes stated he was "unclean". The staff is uninvolved and not adequately supervised. I am informed by them that my spouse does not want to be bathed or have his clothes changed. So, he will go 5 days in filthy, stained clothes with unwashed face and hair before a few pieces of his clothes are changed. His hair is now filled with dandruff as it is washed so infrequently. There will be existing urine stains on his bed sheets for up to 5 days before they are changed. I could go on and on. Please do NOT place a loved one in this facility as they will not get the care they need and deserve.

It was the most horrible experience that I am still having nightmares about. The social worker (AS) was absolutely horrible. She had previously been A social worker in a juvenile detention center and she treated the residents with suspicion as though they were juvenile delinquents. That woman was eventually fired after my parents had passed but the damage was done. When my father was old and sick she asked me if he thought it was time to give up and die. My mother had every single thing stolen from her. Everything. This social worker put her in a room, after my father died, with a crazy woman who stole everything from my mother. I went to visit and the drawers were empty her closets were empty all of her jewelry was gone every knickknack she ever owned had been stolen. Like I said this is a nightmare I have to live with for the rest of my life. They were so neglected and because I lived out of state I would call constantly and of course I was told everything was fine. When I would visit everything was not fine and I would raise holy hell. Stay as far away from this hell hole as possible....well, unless you hate your loved one.

BEWARE management will always side with their employees and not their residents. They do not respect the citizens who live there and they dont respect their privacy. Very poorly run.
