Attention all Land Rover Owners, do not take your vehicle here. Alberto got into my new Land Rover (for the required smog when title is being transferred) after it was serviced at the Livermore Dealership and plugged his gadget up into my OBD reader and accidentally set off every lamp and every monitor that this truck was built with including the engine light and catastrophic failure indicators. My new truck had to be towed to Livermore Land Rover. Now my truck has to be driven over the weekend to reset all lamps and monitors by the Land Rover Specialist while I wait until Tuesday. Talk about embarrassment and intense anger. So I called to advise Alberto as to what he had done. He apologized from the bottom of his heart. Is that it???? I paid for a smog which resulted in a great deal of lost time and inconvenience. All Pro Smog please be advise there may be an invoice coming your way! Went here in middle of week while I was off work. Clean and friendly location. Waited about 30-40 min from the time I walked in and then got my car. The gentleman working was very nice and extremely professional. I purchased a coupon off yelp and it was honored no questions asked. The only thing I paid for was the 8.25 dmv fee. I called inquiring about coming by for a smog check and the gentleman that I was on the phone with was patient enough to answer all my questions, lol. They informed me that no appointment was required and it was first come first serve. I clock out of work at 5p and head right over, but the person at the front desk informed me that there was 4 people ahead of me and it takes about 15 minutes per car and they aren't able to stay overtime, so he asked me to come back the next day and to call an hour before coming to let them know one hour before heading over and of the situation the day before. The next day, I called an hour before heading over and upon arriving, their card reader was down....... they told me I could either wait or come back another day. Already with the impression that this was my second day in a row there, I decided to test my luck. 15 minutes passed and their card reader was back up and they were able to smog check my car. The front desk was kind enough to give me a better deal than the coupon on their site for my experience. Yay for a passed smog check! Since they don't take appointments, I guess my best recommendation is to call 1 hour beforehand to let them know that you're heading over for service. read more

After a set back, the owner made things right. He immediately provided me his contact information and drove from out of town to perform a smog check. He did this after Business hours on a Saturday. Few business owners would be willing to go out of their way to this extent to enhance and improve the customer experience. For this reason, i have updated my review to 5 stars. Mistakes and setbacks can happen at Businesses for various reasons, but when an owner goes out of his way to make things right, this speaks high volumes about a business and its overall purpose and mission statement. I do not recommend this place. On more than one occasion they did not have a Technician available to do it. They charge $20 to remove and install the "Dog House", which is the engine cover that is inside of the cab of a van. If your vehicle needs a re-test they will charge another $20 to remove and reinstall. It took me two minutes to remove the damn thing my. There's enough other places in Tracy that perform smog tests try them. read more

Wow, went to All Pro Smog to smog my 1999 Camaro. Had their coupon for $29.99. Was told that it would be $15.00 more because they had to put it on the dyno and it was a lot more work? Their coupon says no bait and switch. What do you call that? The guy behind the counter said he did not know of a shop in Tracy that will smog a car on the dyno for less than the $29.99 plus the $15. And stated that " you will see" that no other shop would do it for less than his price. Well he might have been right that he did not know of a shop, but only because of his ignorance of the local market. Not only will shops honor their coupons, but I drove directly over to the Tracy Test Only station (1100 W. 11th St), they did it for the coupon price without the extra $15 charge. They should advertise that they will only smog 2000 and newer cars for there coupon price. These cars only involve hooking up to the computer and looking at the car. I call that lazy. Lost a new customer just as I walked through the door. Change your coupons to state the extra $15 charge for cars that are so much more work. So the owners will take their business to the other "Star" certified shops in Tracy. Stay clear of this shop. read more

I went to all pro smog because I had a coupon for $29.95 with free recheck. So I go i go in with out an appointment and im in and out in 20 minutes when I go to pay he tells me I can't use my coupon! So I ended up paying $75!!!!!!! For a broke college student I just about cried. Why issue a coupon if you don't plan on honoring it? The only good thing about this place is the guy who was doing the smog he was working hard! I really have to question the ratings on this place. Friends and Family? Worst Customer Service experience I had in a long time. Called ahead to get a quote and was told $38 over the phone. I get there and see an employee outside and all he says to me is I can't park there. OK, then I go inside to check in and I now I am told it will be $50 to do the smog check. On top of that, I am told to go back outside and write down my mileage on my car. Every place I have been too, the employee more than willing will do that for you, but not this place. I asked don't you guys do that for the Customer and his reply back was...."Don't you know how to write down your mileage". Walked out at that point. Had to give this place 1 star just to get my review in. Trust me when I say I don't have time to write bad reviews on everybody, but I these guys don't know the meaning of Customer Service!! read more
