Have been trying for over a month to get an older car smogged. Every time one machine or another is broke. My husband called in to see if the machines were working as we are running out of time. The lady answering the phone was rude but did answer his questions. I took time and drive over to get it done, waited at the counter over 30 min and no one even came to see if I needed help. Left and went to another place in town that took my vehicle right in and 25 min later I'm done. Will not attempt All Pro again. It's a shame because the guy my husband dealt with the last time was super helpful and apologetic for the machine breaking down. I found this place on the yelp application and gave it a try. I called ahead of time to see if they would be able to check my truck nearing the closing time. The lady that answered the phone was polite and professional and informed me the cut off time to bring the truck in. When I arrived at the location, there were two people ahead of me. Still, I was in and out of there within 20 minutes. They charged me $38 dollars as stated on the coupon. The charge was less than the smog check location I have usually gone to. I had a good experience at this place and they earned my business for the next smog check I may need. I would definitely recommend this place to my family and friends. read more

I could not believe how incredibly rude these people were. First off, I have no idea about cars. My check engine light was on when I came in and they tested it anyways. I went to 3 mechanics after that and they all told me that was a dick move of them to test it, knowing it would fail and yet still taking my money. Then I tried to call to ask them about it and they never answer their phone. So I came in today to get it retested and the guy threw the clipboard at me and I said, "I'll wait for you so I can talk with you." He said, "So talk." So incredibly rude...I almost walked out of it weren't for the fact that it was cheaper to retest there since they had already robbed me before. DON'T GO HERE!!! was my GOTO smog shop but they changed management, avoid this shop, I reported this shop. took truck in first time on the way to the shop it ran great idle perfectly no fumes, dropped it off went to breakfast comeback and had a report of raw gas fumes and rough idle failed smog, on the way home I had to use the gas pedal and brake pedal at same time when coming to a stop or truck would die. Got it back popped the hood and the EGR hose was unplugged they told me it failed evap test as well. So I waited a wile before I had time to smog it again, had the truck checked and it was a go. Truck ran great , drove it to Stockton and tracy and back to Manteca and truck performed flawlessly . so took it back to this place they offer a half off for 2nd smog , dropped it off them they said their equipment was malfunctioning I have to bring it back some other time, so brought it back still truck running perfectly came back they said the gas fumes are horrible and I had to trick it to get it to register on our testing machine, failed!! on the way home truck ran horrible would not stay idle again and spit and sputtered . avoid at all cost new management are horrible and scammers, Very upset this was the best smog shop in Manteca read more

Our car smog experience is good. We redeemed an awesome deal but for the second car I brought in on a similar deal, the process was different and it rubbed me the wrong way. The first time My husband brought a car I sent a screenshot of the voucher with my husband and everything went smoothly. On the second visit we assumed the same process and was told they need the actual Groupon app and click redeem on site--ruling out opportunities to send others to this location as a gift or with a purchase on their behalf. I drove up to help resolve the issues with my husband being required to have the actual phone that made the purchase on the app. We just learned All pros will not allow the screenshot. In my exchange with the guy behind the register, I learned that he simply wants to press redeemed in his sight and then he writes down the same information that was on the voucher screenshot that my husband had. He added "you CAN print the redeemed screen and we will accept it" (which allows me to give a voucher to others if they have access to a printer). To me, It just makes no sense to say you redeemed before you redeemed, but that's how they do it here. I would have preferred to click the redeem myself after we actually checked in or got the job done. You don't know what you don't know, but I hope this helps others. read more

New ownership sucks, Rip Off, scam............... They tried to charge an extra $25 fee for removing the engine cover on my min van that didn't need to be removed. I have gone to this location for 10 years NEVER have they had to remove the cover EVER. This year under the new owners trying to pulling this crap that I have never heard before. My husband & I took our cars in to get smoged. I cannot say enough nice things about this shop...and Charlie & Sida. They both were so helpful & great. My Expedition did not pass, but Charlie was so helpful. He told & showed me what I needed, saving me the labor of having someone else replace it. We replaced the piece and told it back in the same day. Unfortunately he saw another hose that was cut. So again he told me what I needed & showed me what to replace. It wasn't cheap, but again Charlie saved me money. After getting that part & putting it in, I brought it back & it finally passed. I definitely recommend All Pro Smog. They will treat you right! I used a groupon for this place, had never been there before but thought I'd give it a try. It was super easy super quick it took me longer to drive there then to actually smog test my car. Gave it one star because I had no other choice have taken a few vehicles here never again . The guy at the shop is rude and a scam artist . On several cars he told me my gas cap wasn't any good . Must get a kick back on gas caps . There coupon said a certain amount no hidden charges thats bull he charged me 25.00 more because he said he had to remove a hose to do a visual inspection . Then he tells me that one of my hoses was disconnect . That it didn't pass visual .. He showed me the hose this dick disconnect my hiosebbecause it was old . It still passed smog on machine but not visual .. After I left my engine light came on I've been driving this vehicle for years and never had a problem till I went here. Terrible service! Failed my truck(not their fault) due to monitors not being reset. After driving 100+ miles I was able to get 2 of the 3 monitors to reset with only the EVAP monitor needing to be reset. Went back in today to have it re tested and was told they couldn't smog it with the EVAP monitor no reset which is FALSE! The front desk woman(which was awesome) tried to reason with the tech and tell him that they could in fact do my smog but the tech very rudely yelled at her saying he wouldn't do it because it was 'lower their score'. Yet again false! After doing some more investigation by not wanting to smog my truck with 1 monitor not re set 1. Won't hurt a score and 2. If the BAR looks into their history of only smogging vehicles with only clean monitors it will raise a red flag as that means that are filtering through vehicles and turning too many people away. After the tech and office lady argued for about 10 minutes, the tech came to my truck and flat out lied to me trying to say that she wouldn't let him to the smog! So long story short, I will NEVER spend a dime at this place and honestly feel that I should be refunded my money for the initial smog. The worst experience somgging a car in my life! First I walk in and they look at me like I'm an idiot and I have to ask if they work there is never a good look for a business.. I get the car on the smogg and he fails it visually because of a "wire" . I take the car to a specialist mechanic and he tells me that there is absolutely nothing wrong with that wire they pointed out and the smog people screwed me over. If they wanted to they can fail you for anything even if it actually passes the smog emissions. All he has to do is point at some random wire and say oh that's why, and when I confront the guy that works there his reply was. "This ain't my business" Extremely unprofessional.. less than 2 hours later the car was passed at a reputable smog shop I should have went to in the first place.
