A cylinder head was my problem…read more I've tried two mechanics and was informed that they won't do in-engine repairs. It was a NYE evening and I met the owner, Aldo. I asked him if he does in-engine repairs. Store was closed on New Year's Day, of course. So, I brought my car in on Thursday. We spoke, he informed me the worst I needed to hear. He offered me two scenarios. Either re-bore the cylinder of my 100k engine or get a new engine. I made an effort to find one on eBay. After finding one, Aldo made it easy on me by talking to the seller of the engine.. He ended up purchasing the engine and of course, I'd pay Pro Touch Repairs after install. It only had 25k miles. During repairs, Aldo kept me informed about the repairs needed. One was waiting for a special tool. I decided to ask Aldo to add Bilstein struts. We had understandable issues during the repair that slowed the repairs for three weeks. Yet, he had no problem with my car on his lift for so long. Luckily, for me, my cousin lent her car out to me in exchange for taking care of her dog while she settled in her life. Long story shorten, Aldo is a patient, honest, and excellent mechanic that has gained my confidence to become my future mechanic.

I finally had enough and after about 3months of being danced around in regards to my car being put off I finally had to have it towed outta the shop that I drove my car to to get fixed leaving the establishment worse then when I drove it into there establishment. After all this I finally confront the management in regards to this and there excuse was they never recd authorization to do the repairs but if I didn't authorize the repairs then why did I order and pay for a new turbocharger and have it delivered yah makes no sense to me so my advice to anyone tryin to get work done make sure you take ur car to a competent garage that doesn't give u back ur vehicle in worse shape then whenever u drove it there just to get it towed outta there

While I was there, I noticed he was also working on an Audi R8, which gave me even more confidence--clearly he knows his way around Audis. On Monday, he gave me a call to go over the repair estimate and mentioned another issue he noticed. He clearly explained everything and asked if I wanted to move forward. When the car was ready a few days later, he emailed me ahead of time with photos of the work and a detailed, itemized invoice. When I picked up the car, he walked me through exactly what he'd done and answered all my questions with patience and professionalism.
