At first I had the front wheels done first to see if that would take care of it. I paid and hopped on to the freeway to test them but seemed to be still the same so I went back and had the rear wheels done as well. That seemed to have improved a little bit but wasn't completely fixed but tolerable. I figured it could be something else causing the issue so I saved it to have it diagnosed further later. I paid $60 for the work done total ($30 on each pair) After driving for a few weeks the shaking on the steering wheel seemed to have become worse. So I took it to Firestone this time to get the balancing redone as well as alignment. And guess what? Yup, the issue is now gone when driving on the freeway. I've been to this shop quite a few times before and just feel that their work is just average. I came only because it's close to my home. But this will definitely be my last time as I paid for something was supposed to fix the problem but obviously didn't, not to mention money wasted. I somehow wonder if they did the work correctly, or even did the work at all even though I did see them took out the wheel from my car. SMH -_-

They give you the option of texting photos of the damage. I did and got a long-written response from Charlie, but he wanted to follow up with a phone call. Based on my damage Charlie could not fix it, and he explained in detail why he couldn't. He then told me about two shops that could help but explained the fixing process of one of the shops which was local and what to expect. The shop that could do the complete job is in Sacramento. I will contact them. I learned stuff that I hadn't even thought about! I really appreciated the time Charlie took to explain my dilemma. You don't find many shop owners that go out of there way like Charlie, especially knowing that he could not fix it. He could have just told me, "I can't fix that, sorry" and left it at that. Great to see pride of ownership like that.

Once parked, there is a large check in/waiting room with about 11 seats. There is typically 2-3 employees working the counter. This location can get busy even during the week. So it's hit and miss if you're waiting in line or speaking with an employee right away. The employee walked with me to my vehicle and checked each tire for remaining tread or other signs of issues. After settling payment, I took a seat to wait. My last visit was a Monday morning and It took about 50 minutes before they drove my truck into the bay and about 30 more minutes to replace a tire. The employees at the counter have been friendly and helpful every time I visit. If they're busy when I walk in, one of them will typically acknowledge me and tell me they'll be with me in a moment. I have found Americas tire to typically be the best pricing for the tires I've needed and they do honor price matching. This place is a good option if you need tires.

I was standing in line while the associate chose to answer the phone instead of helping me . . . okay. Long story short, the front tires were in stock and had arrived and the back tires had NOT yet arrived from AZ. Asking me if anyone had called to notify me of this?!?!? Clearly not if I am standing in front of you . . . asked if I wanted to have only the front installed and come back when the other tires arrive. WHAT?!?!? For me it ALL about 3 points. And in my categories I would give it 1 point or 0. But with that said if it gets 1 point with me then it's already worth going to the business. And if it gets ALL 3 points then it's a gem and not to be missed. For me looks and aesthetics can be faked by making some thing look good even if it lacks good quality. Here's my 3 categories I do my ratings: Excellence = I give it 1 point for service Value = I give it 1 point Travel = I give it 1 point (worth the travel) 3 points is the maximum I give and it gets my maximum high score possible.
