My car had a flat on the freeway and a wonderful man filled my tire and guided me to Swier Tire Center. The mechanics were so kind and thoughtful. I was traveling alone with my daughter and they made us feel so safe and cared for. They truly came to our rescue. They did not have my tire in stock, but called another tire store to make sure we could get everything we needed to continue with our travel plans to the coast. I'd like to consider myself to be a fairly tough critic and cautiously endorse a business unless I believe it to be well deserved. With that said, I have nothing but positive things to write about regarding the service and attentiveness I received. There was a misunderstanding regarding some services I received (this was a misunderstanding and in no way a complaint). These guys did everything possible to make me feel that they understood my concern and were willing to do whatever it took to make sure I was well cared for and pleased. In the end, I was provided with the service and care that is lacking so much today. It's nice to know that we have a strong community of small businesses and consumers that support them. word of mouth is the major source of advertising. Had some brake work done here last year. I thought it was within the last 12 months turned out it was 18 months or so. An indicator light came on for brake wear and I took it in and asked. They found the sensor was defective and ordered me a new one. No one stocks a brake sensor for a 1999 Lexus but it was there the next day. They offered to put it in for the cost of the part only which was fair. After putting it in they noted the previous sensor might not have been installed right so they didn't charge me at all. I previously left a dissatisfied review. I would like to update my recent experience. The owner Daniel is awesome, he seen me in public and reached out offering to fix my brakes as well as help with the cost I had to put into my car after my last oil change there. I was blown away with his concern and generosity! He kept his word and replaced my brakes (for free) yesterday, no more horrible loud squeaks! I did declined him helping with the cost of the expenses caused after my last oil change, because I felt extremely grateful for my new brakes and the fact that he even offered was satisfying enough to me. I went to Swier Tire with a tire after two other tire company's said they could't patch since the hole was too close to the sidewall (it didn't look close at all to me), saying I'd have to buy a new tire (one of the other company's insisted I needed to buy a new $400 set since my car was all wheel drive, even after I had called the dealership to verify and they said that wasn't true); I took my car to Swier who agreed with the dealership and patched the hole for a very low price. They also rotated the tires at a reasonable price. I take my car there whenever I have a tire need. It's good to know some businesses still act with integrity. Thanks Swier Tire. read more

WORST TIRE STORE IN THE CENTRAL VALLEY! Not sure how they manage to keep affiliated with Napa name. The store is filthy and shop area only worse. The owner, Roger and his son know little about customer care or service. Has to be the rudest place of business in the area. Now I understand why they have zero positive reviews. The best thing about Swier's is the service, which I am huge on. I can walk in there with a part in my hand and they will know what it is, where its from, and how to get a new part. The prices are affordable, but what you are paying for is expertise. I live over half an hour away and I still make the travel to see these guys. Can't beat 'em read more
