I love their service specially their warranties on there tires I have been purchasing tires from them for 8 years.

Where do I start?? Placed an order online for 4 tires on 12/15 in the amount of $1400. At that time, I also scheduled the install for 12/22 @ 8:30 AM. I received a call to confirm not only my order but my appointment. A day prior to the install, I received a text to confirm my appointment, once again. Arrived on 12/22 @ 8:15 AM and waited in line for ~ 25 mins. Unsure why this location doesn't have a designated appointment line like other stores do?? I was standing in line while the associate chose to answer the phone instead of helping me . . . okay. Long story short, the front tires were in stock and had arrived and the back tires had NOT yet arrived from AZ. Asking me if anyone had called to notify me of this?!?!? Clearly not if I am standing in front of you . . . asked if I wanted to have only the front installed and come back when the other tires arrive. WHAT?!?!? Went home and am still waiting for them to let me know if the rear tires have arrived. It's now 12/29. Nah, going to Costco for tires after this. Do better, please. read more

Waited to get air in my tires, workers in the garage standing around, no greeting.. I figured I'd give them a few minutes after 10min and no one greeted I look out my window and they still have employees standing around. They did see me, my car is not hard to miss. I called to get an appointment to get my tires rotated and they got me in the next business day. When you make an appointment they guarantee to have it done in 45 minutes or less. I waited...well went shopping across the street. After over a hour I walked back and my car was parked in a different spot in the parking lot so I knew it was done. I was disappointed they didn't call me when it was done, I'm not sure how much time lapsed between my car being ready and my arrival. This is the reason for my four stars. Can't beat free and that is the price of a tire rotation when you purchase tires from Americas Tires. It is a great value and why I purchase my tires from them. read more

Had my truck serviced for an alignment, took it back 2 more times after because my alignment was completely off - steering wheel crooked and drivability was completely off. On the 3rd "attempt" to align my truck, the manager finally tells me that their machines are not able to align my casters due to my after market control arm & that they would not be able to unless I had the actual specs that came along with the control arms.. Truck is practically stock height (2.5in on front, JBA UCA, and stock height in rear). Needless to say, if any of these aftermarket parts were going to be problematic/contributing factor that would prevent the business from completing the alignment, then the business should have disclosed this upon inspection if not prior to taking my truck in. If you're in need of an alignment, go elsewhere. Just because they offer alignment services, it does not mean that the service would be fulfilled. Also they do not test drive the cars after aligning it.... 1 star because the manager did make efforts to communicate & briefly elaborate. read more

We've been buying tires here for many years but they left me really ticked off today. I took my car in at 8:30 am for new tires. They took my car back by 8:45 am. They told me it would be about one hour. I was impressed with being quoted an hour because it is a busy Saturday morning. I gave them my phone number. They sent me a link to a tracking system to alert me when my car was done. I walked over to Target and came back 30 minutes and took a seat in the waiting area since I hadn't received any notification stating my car was ready. I sat in the waiting room from 9:15 am to 11:20 am waiting and waiting and waiting, no text, before I finally got up and asked. MY CAR HAD BEEN READY since 9:16 am. No text. No call. No apology. Fast, Friendly, and Affordable - My Go-To Tire Shop from Now On! I had an absolutely amazing experience at this America's Tire location with Kyle and the team. I've used America's Tire before in San Jose, and my memory was just "okay service and long waits for rotations." Fast forward 38,000 miles later--my Model Y needed new tires. My three options were Tesla, Costco, or America's Tire. Tesla was the most expensive, Costco has mostly been positive for me but the waits can be brutal, and Costco also didn't have a specific EV tire. So I did some research and found tons of glowing reviews for Discount Tire--only to realize it's the same company as America's Tire. Their prices were the lowest I could find, plus they offered 5% off with their credit card and 12 months to pay. Hard to beat. I booked an appointment for Saturday and when I arrived, there was a long line of walk-ins. Within minutes, Kyle came out to greet me, get me checked in, and make me feel genuinely welcomed. I expected to drop off my car and have my wife pick me up, but Kyle told me it would only take 30 minutes--so I stayed. To my surprise, Johnsebastian, who was working on my car, came out partway through to let me know it would actually be done in about 15 minutes! From start to finish, the service was fast, friendly, and professional. I left extremely happy--not just with the price, but with how valued I felt as a customer. Since moving here in 2018, I've been looking for a shop I could fully trust. I've found it. This will be my go-to for all my tire needs from now on. I have been going to this particular store for the last 4 years. I always make an appointment. Over the years customer service has gone down. People have left, new people came. Few days back made an appointment, rotation done in an hour which used to take 20 minutes. I am now waiting for alignment recheck because I already paid for alignment previously but need to be rechecked as I don't feel that it was corrected, I am told that it is my turn for alignment, I waited for another hour and saw three cars go ahead of me when every time I was told that it was my turn. After wasting two hours, it's still not my number so I had to leave. First time when I had to pay for alignment, it was done within 10 -15 minutes. Maybe it's time to change the staff in the store. On top of it, no apology, no empathy, just whatever and deal with it. I have been going to Americas tire for last 16 years but it seems like now it's time to just take the business to somewhere else. read more

Their store is always clean. They do quick, honest service. I've had all of my tires replaced there, the of them more than one time for various reasons. They're polite, knowledgeable, and fast. I would recommend them to anyone who has the worst luck with tires, as I seem to. You can get your tire replaced and only have to pay the disposal fee. read more

I used to go to La Schwab until I looked around for prices on tires. I realized. I was paying way too much for tires in my past. I always book an appt. and I always leave happy. I read comments about the quality of tires sold here, yet I am sure you get what you pay for. If you are going to buy cheap then expect to buy another set of tires sooner than later. Braking and racing does wear on the tires life span too. read more

Hustled when they told us fixing a flat(nail) would take +2hours but they would put on 4 new tires on in less than 45min for us. read more

I bought some expensive set of tires from here last year. I went to get them balanced and rotated yesterday only for them to tell me that the treads were almost gone. The rating of the tires were for 45k but I only put on 20k. I was offered a warranty credit however I would have to still pay over $500 for a brand new set. I don't trust the quality of tires here. Go some where else where the quality is better and has better warranty. read more

I needed tires on my car and called to get a price quote. Ryan M answered the phone and was very helpful. Price quoted was very competitive with others. Ryan had my tires in stock and I was able to get an appointment that same day. I went in for my appointment and Ryan was there to help get me checked in. He is very professional and helpful. The only thing I did not like was that they don't tell you on the phone about the replacement cost package where you pay $37 per tire and get lifetime replacement free. I felt a little pressured so I agreed to purchase it. He said it would take about 45 minutes so I walked through the parking lot to Home Depot and shopped. After about 30 minutes they text me that my car was ready. Faster than expected. I walked back over and it was a little busier than when I arrived, but I only had to wait a few minutes. Ryan gave me my keys and I walked to my car. As I got to my car and walked around it, I noticed that 2 of the valve covers were different colors and when I got in my car and started it my Check Tire Pressure light was on. I went back inside but Ryan was busy helping someone else and a nice gentleman (Sorry I did not get your name) asked if eveything was OK. I explained my concern and he was very nice and took my keys and walked to my car. He came back and showed me on the tester that the tires were fine. He told me that when you put on new tires sometimes you have to drive for a few minutes for the computer in the car to recognize the new tires. I felt stupid but I did not know this and wish they would tell you this before you go out to your car. He also explained that tires come with a replacement kit and the valve covers are usually gray not black like I originally had. He had the technician replace the black covers with gray ones. I think it would be a good practice to have the sales person walk out to the car with you when you are picking up in case there are any questions or concerns. Overall I was very happy. Professional, Friendly and Helpful. Quick service and fair prices. read more

On Wednesday, I contacted about five local tire shops, and America's Tire stood out with the best price and excellent customer service. I scheduled an appointment for today and arrived 15 minutes early. I was assisted right away and out the door in just 30 minutes--15 minutes ahead of the estimated time. From my initial phone call with Chris to the completion of my vehicle, every one of the four employees I interacted with was incredibly friendly and professional. I arrived about 10 minutes early for my appointment to remove a screw in my tire. One of the associates immediately came out to my car and began helping me. He also checked my wiper blades (which were, I admit, old) and suggested replacing them. I had already planned to spend money on fixing my tire (I did not know this was a free service!), so I went ahead and purchased them. Today, of all days, I had other appointments set after my tire rotation and it's been an hour since my appointment and my car isn't even pulled in yet. I asked how long it's going to take and the guy I spoke to, in a red shirt and a vest, didn't even apologize or show any empathy. So I was driving down from Sacramento to the Great Wolf Lodge. 4 of my tires at 45 PSI when I left. As I get closer to Manteca, 3 of the tires were still at 45 and 1 dropped to 40 PSI. I knew there was some kind of puncture. When I got to this location, they told me about an hour and 15 minutes to get the tire checked out and that there was few cars ahead of me. I'm not sure who helped me but my receipt said Kyle M. Kyle said if they were able to patch the tire, it was at no cost. Unfortunately, there was a screw that punctured the edge of the tire and they were not able to patch it. But he got me in and out in about 15-20 minutes instead of the 1 hour and 15 minutes that he estimated and they had my tires in stock. Definitely great service at this location! read more

I have always been buying tires from this store but the last time I went in for a tire rotation and balance, they said they will not do it because I needed to buy new tires. The wear markers on the tires haven't been reached yet but still they will not do it. I don't know how many customers they've scammed into buying new tires when in fact the tires are still good. They have lost my business. I think it's much more practical to buy tires from an online store and have a local shop mount and balance the tires, and not to deal with these people again. read more

I stopped at the Manteca store because my TPMS light came on. I had never been to this store but it was the closest. I was greeted by an employee, I think named Kyle, he had a beard and glasses. He was very helpful and checked all aspects of my car's tires. Explaining in detail as he ruled out possible causes. He then explained that my tires were good and possible I had too high tire pressure. He had another employee fix my air pressure. I was very grateful for his assistance. I had a long drive ahead to southern California and I felt safe and assured. My TPMS light did not come on again. Thank you very much for your help! I highly recommend America's Tire! read more

New wheels not balanced properly, and even after returning once to get it fixed, they still weren't. They even decided to take off wheel weights, put new ones in a different spot, and leave the old white tape/residue behind for me to get off myself. Had to take it elsewhere to get them fixed. They used to be a good place to go, but the last few times I bought tires they have scratched my rims very noticeably. The last time I went was Monday 1/15/24 in Tracy, CA. I purchased 4 new tires for my new, very recently dealership inspected truck- I spent over 2k for these tires. I took pictures of my rims immediately after check in because they were clean with no scratches on them. I did this because the last vehicle I brought to this location came out with noticeable scratches on the rims. This time that I went, they first broke my tpms sensor and denied it before I showed them my inspection report from Chevy dealership that proved it was working when it came in, then they agreed to fix it. When they brought the truck out I looked at my rims and saw they put scrapes halfway around all my rims where they clamped on with the machine for mounting and dismounting. I talked to the manager. He tries to argue that there's no way they did it because they reverse mount so I showed him pictures that are timestamped from right after I checked in. He offered me $100 to takeoff purchase price or I can turn it into their insurance. On the ride home the truck was shaking so bad I knew they were out of balance. Got home and I checked the torque on my lugnuts. They were not torqued all the way and many were found only finger tight. I immediately brought the truck to a different tire shop for balancing and they were an ounce to 1.7 ounces out of balance on the front and 3 ounces to 5.7 ounces out of balance on the rears and it cost me another $111 to the new shop. Very dissatisfied. I will never go there again. I no longer trust or recommend America's Tire. And now I have to take the time to deal with the insurance claim process. read more

Customer Service here is nothing but a show! They are not the cheapest. And NO where near great customer service. My experience was good on my first car and bad on my second. So it looks like a 50/50 shot you will have a good experience. Store Manager here - David is typical full of platitudes and appeasement but no real substance with me as a disappointed customer. He simply did not care! Don't waste your money here because once the tires are on... the tires are on. They are ALL about getting your money! read more

America's Tire in front of Home Depot in Manteca, is great place for tires. Probably the best in town. And I assume the many customers at this business buying tires and having them installed feel the same way. I'm not sure that America's Tires offer other services than tire sales/installation, & my review has to do with tire replacement--one set. Excellent service! From the techs that dealt with me initially, to their checking the remaining rubber on my car's tires, selecting the correct tires at a reasonable price to installation, customer service was excellent. And on top of that my tires were installed sooner than promised. Impressive! And because of my great experience at America's Tires, I am now a loyal customer. read more

If you have a pleasure car or a car that you rarely use and now the tires are 10 years old, they will not rotate or balance bottom line they will not provide any kind of service unless you are willing to spend more money on buying four new tires. so something to keep in mind is it worth buying tires there. Only if it's a car that you use on an everyday basis. what law is written that you have to buy new tires on either vintage cars, classic cars, etc. where can I find that law. read more

This has been our go to place for tires and tire related service for years. We have been loyal America's Tire customers from Bay Area locations. But the quality of service has come substantially down. The employees are no longer the mature, experienced mid 30s guys who could see a nail while the tire's on the vehicle. Now they take an hour to rotate your tires and run around like a chicken with their heads cut off. The workers look like they are in high school ROTC auto repair classes, and very well could be. They are uncertain, a lot of "uh, uhs" and are scared to touch a tire. One of our cars began making a funny noise from back tires as soon as we drove from the shop and got them serviced here but they refused to accept it and claimed we need to visit a real mechanic. Well my brother's a real mechanic and took off the tire's to see that the brake caliper was possibly hit a little off and caused a rubbing issue. Most likely done while tire's serviced. I would not go here again and would not recommend them anymore. I would go to Les Schwab or another reputable tire shop. DO NOT RECOMMEND! read more

Just got new AT tires on my Subaru here and once again, a great visit. I've been bringing my cars to Americas Tire for well over 15 years after a competitor broke parts on my car and caused my brake system to fail and I almost pulled into traffic because I couldn't stop. These competitors then fought me on fixing the abs sensor they had broken. So after that , it's safe to say Americas Tire has my exclusive business for life. read more

I really like this location. Every time I bring one of my vehicles here I get consistently great service. They explain everything and they don't try to upsell me on products and services. I appreciate their honest recommendations. I am always treated well and greeted upon arrival. I make appointments whenever possible which cuts down on wait time. I do appreciate that they check in with me and let me know where I'm at in line. They are friendly and the waiting area is always really clean. Plenty of comfy seats and they have windows so you can look outside or into the bay and see them working on your car. There is also plenty of outlets to charge your phone and the bathroom is immaculate. read more

I went there for a free tire rotation & also a nail in one tire. My tire was not flat or even leaking air. I told the salesman named Harley that I could not buy a new tire at this time until payday Friday & if they couldn't repair it to just leave it as is, after rotation. Turns out there was a total of 4 nails in that tire & the tire person removed them all & then said the tire is not repairable. Because of this the tire won't hold air anymore & I had no money to buy a new tire. So the sales person said because it was their fault they would just replace it with a new tire at no cost. Great, since my other tires were kinda worn out I could just come back after my payday & match the other 3 with that new tire. Wrong, the free tire he gave me is a leftover discounted tire that they don't carry anymore. So that was just a waste of a brand new tire. They think they're smart doing that so I still have to buy all 4 new tires when I come back. read more
