Back when I had a heavily modified high performance car, they were one of the only shops willing to work on it and use my own specific oil and lubricants for it. But if it didn't fix it, they had plans B and C ready to go! They had it right in the first shot. The wheels had to be rebalanced (first shop I went to did a horrible job). They also did a wheel alignment for me after the wheel balancing. Thank you Los Amigos team, and thank you Francisco!! Unmatched customer service. Very communicative and they were very patient with me! I will continue to bring all of my cars here. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SHOP for all your wheel, tire, and alignment needs!

D & S have skillful mechanics and charge reasonable prices. I brought my Subaru in with a leak near the oil pan, and I thought the worst, Tom would find other damages and the cost would be $300-$400, it was way less, ~$158. The leak was only damage he found. He kept the car an extra day to test that the repair fixed the leak, putting extra time in and not charging. Leak fixed. Upon picking up my car I relieved the cost was reasonable, and I admitted to being nervous about a large bill because I just lost my job. He felt bad about that, and this is where Tom is a great human being: he didn't charge me! He said, "Since you lost your job, we're square." Unbelievable! I didn't expect sure an awesome gesture! I felt blessed! Thank you, Tom and D & S Automotive! You have a customer for life!

The first time I visited him, I thought I had a brake issue. He checked it and told me nothing was urgent and that I could easily drive another 5,000 miles before replacing the brakes. He didn't even charge me and told me to come back when the work was actually needed. That level of honesty is rare. More recently, I had a fuel pump issue, and Tom squeezed me into his busy schedule, prioritized my repair, and gave me a great price without compromising on quality. His work is top-notch and his prices are very fair. With cars, you need someone you can truly trust, and Tom is that person for me. I'm grateful I found him and highly recommend him to anyone looking for an honest mechanic who provides excellent work at a fair price. Tom is the guy!

Took my car here for tire balancing about a month or so ago because my steering wheel was shaking…read morewhen running on the freeway. At first I had the front wheels done first to see if that would take care of it. I paid and hopped on to the freeway to test them but seemed to be still the same so I went back and had the rear wheels done as well. That seemed to have improved a little bit but wasn't completely fixed but tolerable. I figured it could be something else causing the issue so I saved it to have it diagnosed further later. I paid $60 for the work done total ($30 on each pair) After driving for a few weeks the shaking on the steering wheel seemed to have become worse. So I took it to Firestone this time to get the balancing redone as well as alignment. And guess what? Yup, the issue is now gone when driving on the freeway. I've been to this shop quite a few times before and just feel that their work is just average. I came only because it's close to my home. But this will definitely be my last time as I paid for something was supposed to fix the problem but obviously didn't, not to mention money wasted. I somehow wonder if they did the work correctly, or even did the work at all even though I did see them took out the wheel from my car. SMH -_-

I had such a great experience with Ryan and Lucas at Les Schwab in Manteca this weekend, and I…read morereally wanted to take a moment to recognize them. My tires were completely trashed and I was also having alignment issues. They were able to get me in the same day, and within just a few hours my car was ready to go. What really stood out to me was how honest and thorough they were throughout the entire process. I had mentioned that I had recently gotten an oil change and was told my brakes were getting close to needing replacement and that I shouldn't put it off because of the safety risk. Ryan and Lucas said they would take a look at them for me. After checking my brakes, they told me that I actually had a long way to go before they needed to be replaced and not to worry about them. That honestly meant a lot to me. They could have easily told me I needed brakes and charged me for work that I didn't need, but instead they were completely honest with me. When they inspected my tires, they also could have easily told me I needed all four replaced, but instead they explained that I only needed two new tires because the rear ones were still in good shape. They also gave me two different options and took the time to explain the pros and differences between each one so I could make an informed decision. I never felt pressured or rushed. They also let me know that Les Schwab does oil changes, which I honestly didn't realize, so I'll definitely be coming back for that next time. Ryan and Lucas went above and beyond, and I really appreciate the way they treated me and took care of my car. Great customer service, honest recommendations, and people who genuinely seem to care about their customers. Thank you both and I hope I gave you and your team a great laugh!
