Took my car here for tire balancing about a month or so ago because my steering wheel was shaking…read morewhen running on the freeway. At first I had the front wheels done first to see if that would take care of it. I paid and hopped on to the freeway to test them but seemed to be still the same so I went back and had the rear wheels done as well. That seemed to have improved a little bit but wasn't completely fixed but tolerable. I figured it could be something else causing the issue so I saved it to have it diagnosed further later. I paid $60 for the work done total ($30 on each pair) After driving for a few weeks the shaking on the steering wheel seemed to have become worse. So I took it to Firestone this time to get the balancing redone as well as alignment. And guess what? Yup, the issue is now gone when driving on the freeway. I've been to this shop quite a few times before and just feel that their work is just average. I came only because it's close to my home. But this will definitely be my last time as I paid for something was supposed to fix the problem but obviously didn't, not to mention money wasted. I somehow wonder if they did the work correctly, or even did the work at all even though I did see them took out the wheel from my car. SMH -_-

Once parked, there is a large check in/waiting room with about 11 seats. There is typically 2-3 employees working the counter. This location can get busy even during the week. So it's hit and miss if you're waiting in line or speaking with an employee right away. The employee walked with me to my vehicle and checked each tire for remaining tread or other signs of issues. After settling payment, I took a seat to wait. My last visit was a Monday morning and It took about 50 minutes before they drove my truck into the bay and about 30 more minutes to replace a tire. The employees at the counter have been friendly and helpful every time I visit. If they're busy when I walk in, one of them will typically acknowledge me and tell me they'll be with me in a moment. I have found Americas tire to typically be the best pricing for the tires I've needed and they do honor price matching. This place is a good option if you need tires.

I had such a great experience with Ryan and Lucas at Les Schwab in Manteca this weekend, and I…read morereally wanted to take a moment to recognize them. My tires were completely trashed and I was also having alignment issues. They were able to get me in the same day, and within just a few hours my car was ready to go. What really stood out to me was how honest and thorough they were throughout the entire process. I had mentioned that I had recently gotten an oil change and was told my brakes were getting close to needing replacement and that I shouldn't put it off because of the safety risk. Ryan and Lucas said they would take a look at them for me. After checking my brakes, they told me that I actually had a long way to go before they needed to be replaced and not to worry about them. That honestly meant a lot to me. They could have easily told me I needed brakes and charged me for work that I didn't need, but instead they were completely honest with me. When they inspected my tires, they also could have easily told me I needed all four replaced, but instead they explained that I only needed two new tires because the rear ones were still in good shape. They also gave me two different options and took the time to explain the pros and differences between each one so I could make an informed decision. I never felt pressured or rushed. They also let me know that Les Schwab does oil changes, which I honestly didn't realize, so I'll definitely be coming back for that next time. Ryan and Lucas went above and beyond, and I really appreciate the way they treated me and took care of my car. Great customer service, honest recommendations, and people who genuinely seem to care about their customers. Thank you both and I hope I gave you and your team a great laugh!

D & S have skillful mechanics and charge reasonable prices. I brought my Subaru in with a leak near the oil pan, and I thought the worst, Tom would find other damages and the cost would be $300-$400, it was way less, ~$158. The leak was only damage he found. He kept the car an extra day to test that the repair fixed the leak, putting extra time in and not charging. Leak fixed. Upon picking up my car I relieved the cost was reasonable, and I admitted to being nervous about a large bill because I just lost my job. He felt bad about that, and this is where Tom is a great human being: he didn't charge me! He said, "Since you lost your job, we're square." Unbelievable! I didn't expect sure an awesome gesture! Great tire and auto repair shop in Manteca!…read more My tire got a big screw in it and had a slow leak (thanks to the TPMS on my car to alert me) so I needed to get it patched up ASAP. I called around and Al the owner at Prince Tires said he could do it in 15 minutes and for $25 (around noon on a Tuesday). This was quicker and cheaper than most of the other places I called plus this was closer to me near Costco Manteca. Al did a great job patching my tire and even let me watch and learn all about the process. In 15 minutes, my tire was patched and all is good again. Thanks Al! I like to buy my tires from Amazon (price and selection is better than any tire store) and Al said he is happy to install Amazon bought tires for $30/tire which is very reasonable. He said just call him in advance so he can be ready to have the tires sent directly to the store for your installation. If you are at Great Wolf Lodge Manteca or Big League Dreams Manteca and you have a flat tire that needs a patch, Prince Tires is likely the closest and best place to do it. Costco does patch tires, but the wait can be hours or more since they are always so busy. I literally was in and out of Prince Tires in 15 minutes to fix my flat.
