Such a cool place overall. When you first walk-in the environment is very warming . You are greeted with a mimosa and a menu of the bar. They also provide three shot glasses with whiskey and gin. I went in the tour and it was very informative. Learned so much about how whiskey and beer is created and fermented . After the tour we can sit and order from the bar. I tried the funk the pain away, which is more of a pina colada type of drink which taste great. My cousin works here so it's a plus. He also gave us a good idea of what to expect. The owner of the distillery was really kind and had a good sense of humor.

My husband and I came here for a whiskey tasting that included a short tour of the facility. From the outside at night in a part of Jersey you are totally unfamiliar with, the block is dark and creepy. And the public entrance is not noticable until you walk completely up to the door on the side of the building. Once inside we were greeted by Jessy at the bar. We had a few drinks while we waited for our tour to start. Jessy was energetic and helpful. She helped us pick out quite a few drinks based on her questions about our taste preferences. The tour was led by Gil the owner. This guy knows his stuff, basically a walking historian. So he guides us through the process of how he makes his liquor and even let's us sample some at different stages to see the importance of distilling and aging. They mainly sold whiskey and 80 proof and 104 proof vodka at this location. The Gin he sells has 13 flavors such as licorce, starnise, black pepper, juniper, lemon zest and orange zest. And the corn whiskey which Gil ages for a year tastes AWESOME!

One of the best brewery tours .... Why ? ... You get an informative tour about the process of their drinks ( whiskey, Vodka and Gin) ...You get a souvenir shot glass (A choice of three ) and a drink prepared by a bartender. They have a drink menu with more selections than a regular bar. Parking is on the street Do not get discouraged just because this place is located in Newark

This was our final stop for the day of our Northern Jersey Distillery Tour on June 5, 2021 and it didn't disappoint. Had to make a reservation due to Covid 19 and occupancy restrictions. We had a Tour of the facility with a Tour guide explaining how the spirits are made and bottled. It was very informative. There was a fee to reserve, which included a cocktail and a tasting of whichever of their spirits you'd like. I tried the pepper vodka, very nice! They also make rum, gin, and whiskey. All very good. Another good spot to visit!

Go visit the distillery, its and awesome experience. My wife and I planned some activities to do on our adventure around New Jersey. We found them on Groupon, a tour, shot glasses and drinks for 2, great find. Location is a little hard to find and the entrance is actually on the side not on the street where the gate entrance is. When we arrived , there was a group of 3 females finishing their tour. They looked like they were having a good time, each one with drinks in their hands, so I began to get excited. The atmosphere was welcoming and the music was bumping. We had a seat next to the bar, where we were given a list of drinks and we selected our 2. I got a whiskey sour which they make with egg whites, which I thought was odd but i found out its the natural way to make a sour without use of sour mix. Drinks were strong and delicious. Finally, the tour. The owner of the distillery, Gil, walked us around his small warehouse and gave us a tour of his thoughts. He was very fascinating to learn not just about the production of whiskey or gin but to understand why he makes his whiskey the way he does. This you will find out on your tour, no spoilers! We returned to the bar, ordered 2 more drinks and ended up staying for another hour chatting with Jess, the bar staff and Gil. We will return to get our black cat whiskey.

This is a great local small business. I took a tour with Gil who took a lot of time to explain the process and also shared some of his experiences with getting permits and building out the space. Really fascinating and I could've talked to him for hours. Small bottles are sold for $24 and large bottles $32. There are about 10 cocktails made in the tasting room ranging from $7-$9. This is definitely a welcome addition to the neighborhood!

This is the best distillery. The owner is extremely informative. The whiskey is amazing... In fact everything is amazing!

Amazing experience at this distillery located in the cut in Newark NJ! This distillery was a little strange to find but the cool thing is the area has good street parking and it's nice and quiet so the distillery is super low-key and let's be honest, who doesn't like that when hanging out on a Saturday? My girlfriend purchased a groupon for us to try and I must say I couldn't have been happier with the experience! Although there isn't much space to tour, the owner was incredibly informative! He broke down historical techniques and explained how they are relevant in the distillery practices at All Points West! He even gave some history on the amount distilleries available now in newark as opposed to years ago! In addition to actual learning happening, which I truly appreciated, there was sipping and smelling happening all throughout the tour! My girlfriend and I ended up getting 3 drinks each and a bottle of gin to go! We would have stayed longer but had reservations for dinner. All of the liquor was smooth and tasty but if you're into gin, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE GIN AND THE LARGEST BOTTLE AT THAT! It was our favorite! It is so flavorful and has a hint of something special. I'll leave the flavor profile out so you may experience it on your own! This place is not to be missed! We will be back!

Most recently was last night and that was my last straw. The music was incredibly and unnecessarily loud which they knew because they told us they'd turn it down before we got the chance to ask. Next, there was one waitress on the floor, clearly overwhelmed. Told us she would be back with water but came back almost 20 mins later. We ordered our wine when she came back because who knows how long it would take to receive it. Another 20 mins, maybe more. We watched her seat several groups and I literally had to scream across the room to get her attention and to remind her of the bottle we ordered, which she had the nerve to appear annoyed about. We asked her if we could move from our tables to a nearby couch which she said yes. Before we had a the chance to finish the bottle the GM comes over and tells us to move our seats and that he would take care of us (NEVER DID NOR DID HE CHECK IN). This is the same GM who asked me to give the place another try after the last issues we encountered where they screwed up our checks due their own carelessness. I should've raised more of an issue and questioned him more. But nevertheless we move to these two musty smelling seats. At that point we left and decided that would be the absolute last time. Go at your own risk!

The restaurant is a beautiful corner spot with wonderful lighting and a warm, inviting ambiance. Since it was our first time trying Georgian cuisine, we decided to share a variety of appetizers. Of course, we had to try the famous Adjaruli Khachapuri, and it was every bit as decadent as people say! The service was very attentive. We were served by someone in training who was incredibly diligent, making sure to follow up on every question we had about the menu. If you're a party of six skinny people, you'll do just fine in the chairs. If you're fat Americans like us, it's going to be a tight squeeze. They do a really smart thing. The window seats are pushed a bit away from the windows, so that when the waiter comes to take your order, they don't block the middle aisle where people are trying to walk or carry stuff to tables. Brilliant idea, and one which I wish more would do. The chairs are those mid century modern rattan backed chrome bottomed office chair looking guys. They're comfortable enough, even for us fats, but the rattan was starting to wear out. Hopefully, they'll see to getting them serviced, because it makes the place look a bit ragged. The tables were a lovely size, with plenty of space for our drinks, our food, and the beautiful bespoke charger plates they had on the table with Sihana branding on it. They kept the TVs and other built in furniture from the old Kinjo that used to be here. When we went, the stuff on the TVs was pretty generic. This is fine. Not a lot of places know what to do with those TVs. Back when the location used to be KInjo, they played either K-dramas, Anime, or other such themed shows on there with subtitles, so that it keeps the place on theme. This is NOT an allergy friendly place. If you're vegan, you're going to get either the cocktails, or a dry salad. Also, there's cocktails that have honey, so watch out for that as well. The falafel sandwich, which should be vegan anywhere else you get it, has egg in it. Not ON it, but IN it. The fries are all cooked in shared oil. How shared is the oil? One of our table mates got a mild allergic reaction (she has a shellfish allergy), and had to grab a Benadryl when she got home. It wasn't bad enough for her eyes to close up and have to go to the hospital, but her face was getting flushed, and she started getting really itchy. I'm sure the food was fine. I've been with this group dining out several times. If they're seriously enjoying themselves, they'll usually be raving about what's on their plate, and let the waiter know how good it all was. That didn't happen here. Everyone LOVED the appetisers. That cheesy bread situation was a huge hit. The cocktails are strong, and beautifully made. Well balanced with the right blend of sweetness, tartness, and slight burn of alcohol. Absolutely no complaints there. When the bill came, there's a credit card processing fee. I'd say the place is good. Here's why they're getting full marks: The waiter let us know IMMEDIATELY that there will be nothing for me to eat. He didn't have to go to the kitchen to ask what was safe. He knew immediately that there's nothing at all on the menu that's safe for me. That level of knowledge tells me that you've got a waiter who takes pride in knowing his job, and does it to the best of his ability. You've got an absolute gem of a wait staff in general. I wasn't bothered, because I live very close by and can eat at home. Just know that I'll never set foot in there again. I'm not sure that anyone else would be too eager to go back either. I've been to steak houses that had more option.
