I enjoyed my experience at Sihana. The space is nice and it was fairly quiet for a Saturday night. Came around 9pm and there were probably 3-4 other patrons but the space was mostly empty. Was escorted to a table in the main room and quickly provided water. Ordered the burger which was good. Fries were perfectly crispy. Didn't get any cocktails or other food items but would certainly be open to trying them upon my next visit!

Have you met Georgian food yet? You need to! Warm and cozy, bread butter and cheese, what's not to love?! The restaurant itself is modern and minimal yet intimate and warm. The service is great and the cocktail list is strong. Still one of my most memorable meals!

Absolutely gorgeous location. It is beautifully lit and furnished. It smelled like heavy bleach when we walked in. We were one of 3 people there. We sat at the bar since we wanted a drink and a bite. We ordered the Danza Dorada ($15) and the Fried Chicken aka wings ($15). The bartender was nice and suggested a few other apps to try. The drinks were so delicious and exactly what we wanted. The Fried Chicken was underwhelming. Very crispy which was great but the sweet & sour sauce tasted like mango salsa. We ordered these since we were curious and it was the only item not mentioned on yelp. If I do come back, I really want to try the Adjaruli Khachapuri since it seems like it is their specialty. Great drinks and a low key spot, other than that is why I have the 2 star rating.

Great ambiance and aesthetic. I want to show love to the server for doing what he could to make my time there satisfying, but I can't say I enjoyed my meal. More prosciutto, less tomato.

We met friends at this lovely restaurant for brunch. The decoration and environment is really nice. The noise control is spot on. The food was the cherry on top. We really enjoyed the coffee, bread, carbanara, Cornish hen. We will definitely be going back again

Three of us checked out Sihana Bistro during the first week of their soft opening -- they are open for dinner from 5-10 pm for the rest of 2024 and open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner starting in 2025. The restaurant is nicely decorated, including the table setting that has fancy plates with detailed drawing and the restaurant name and utensils wrapped in cloth napkins that is held together with a leather napkin ring. (The staff are quick to snatch it from your table once removed to prevent any from disappearing or walking away.) A plate of green salad and a bowl of bread with an oil balsamic vinegar mixture was brought to the table almost immediately after we were sitted. Salad was lightly dressed, and the bread was okay, although the oil-vinegar mixture was delicious. We started with patatas bravas, beef and cheese flavors of Khinkali, and octopus for appetizers. Patatas bravas (and all of their potatoes sides) are on point with the aioli adding a slight spice. Khinkali with meat has soup inside the dumpling, which is reminiscent of xiaolongbao (Chinese soup dumplings) but with thicker dough. They were familiar to me, but one of my friends found it difficult to eat because they were not used to the style. Cheese khinkali doesn't have soup and is like a ravioli, but nothing particularly special. Octopus is pretty to look at and even prettier tasting -- the flavors are great with the different textures of octopus, mashed potatoes, and fried sweet potato chips. Among these, I would recommend trying the patatas bravas and octopus. As for the entrees, we ordered Adjaruli Khachapuri, Steak Frites, Sihana Burger, and Seafood Paella. Steak Frites was highly recommended by our server Isaac, and it did not disappoint with moist and tender steak and a tasty side of potatoes. The burger is solid but nothing exceptional, and seafood paella had a lot of seafood and vegetables mixed in with the rice. We got Adjaruli Khachapuri for the traditional Georgian factor, but we found it a little too salty for our taste. One of my friends ran into an acquaintance on their way to the restroom, and they did not enjoy the creamy garlic chicken because it had too much cream with no sides. Entrees are on the smaller side, so one entree per person may not be enough, even after appetizers. We finished with the French donuts -- they are delicious but because they come out piping hot, you should cut them in half and let the cream inside cool before biting into them to prevent burning your tongue and the inside of your mouth. We had a wonderful time at Sihana overall, minus some minor issues as mentioned above. We had asked for our leftovers to be packed up, but because the restaurant became packed by 7:30 pm, our server seemed overwhelmed and likely forgot about our request -- to be fair, we also forgot about it and didn't remember until 15 minutes after we left the restaurant. Still, I look forward to returning when Sihana has full menu availability.

I came here during lunch on a Friday to celebrate my birthday. I loved the ambiance and decor of the restaurant. I love the addition of the leather finishes on the menu and utensil packaging. It really shows the designer's thought about every aspect of the customer experience. I ordered a burger and fries which was quite delectable. It was a nice spin on your average American burger. 4/5 My friend ordered a very vibrant salmon bowl with quinoa and the spaghetti with meatballs 3/5 but, I'll give the presentation a 4.5/5. For dessert, we shared the tiramisu. The restaurant played a Happy Birthday song and put a candle in my food. Thank you for making my day special Sihana.

The food is probably the closest you can get to actual Spanish tapas but what i love most about this place is that everythings got flavorrrrr For our table of 4 we got CROQUETAS with their house cured chorizo- very good POLLO FIORENTINA- chicken was so tender and packeddd with flavor! BARRIGUITA- plentiful serving for a tapa, we loved the potatoes it came with too CHICHARRON DE POLLO- flavorful chicken and easier to eat than you think TARTAR- delish but small Chipirones- sooo delicately breaded you can barely tell, was great COSTILLA A LA PLANCHA- plentiful for a tapa, we recommend cooking for longer since its traditionally a tough cut of beef SAUTED VEGETABLES- tastey and not mushy thankfully! MILLIONAIRE CAIPIRINHA for my drink. was soooo good, not too sweet and not quite as sour as a margarita, was perfect for me!

When I was there, they had a DJ playing, and it added energy without being too loud or overwhelming. The Service was very good, the waiter answered and helped with all our questions. The food was absolutely amazing really flavorful and well done. Just be a little prepared that most dishes come in smaller portions. But the quality definitely makes up for it. I ordered the paella, and it's easily enough for two or even three people and it was well worth it. Really delicious. The drinks were also definitely worth trying while you're there. The only thing I wasn't big on was the desserts they didn't quite live up to the rest of the meal. But overall, great atmosphere, excellent food, and a fun experience. I'd definitely come back.

Review: Café Faubourg - Montclair…read more Café Faubourg is one of Montclair's true gems--an authentic French bistro that feels as if it were lifted straight from a quiet Parisian street and placed right in the heart of town. From the moment you step inside, the ambiance sets the tone: warm lighting, intimate tables, and that unmistakable bistro charm that makes every meal feel like a small escape. The food is consistently excellent, starting with their hummus, which is surprisingly standout for a French spot. Smooth, flavorful, and beautifully plated, it's the perfect way to begin the meal and pairs wonderfully with their fresh bread. The steak frites is a must-order and easily one of the best in the area. The steak is tender and cooked exactly to preference, richly seasoned without being heavy, and served alongside crisp, golden fries that are everything you want in a classic bistro dish. It's simple, authentic, and prepared with the kind of care that elevates a traditional favorite into something memorable. Service at Café Faubourg is warm and attentive without being intrusive, contributing to the relaxed elegance of the experience. Whether you're dropping in for a casual dinner or celebrating a special occasion, the staff makes you feel welcome and unrushed. For anyone looking for an authentic French bistro experience in Montclair--excellent food, inviting ambiance, and truly charming service--Café Faubourg delivers every time.

The inside has both a main dining hall and a greenhouse, which feels like basically sitting on a covered patio with well kept shrubbery and ambient lighting. It's a neat balance of modern and open while still feeling cozy. I think my favorite dish is the ramp fava bean toast -- the umami from the purée balanced with the crunch of the toast and the brightness from the pickled ramps. I'd also recommend the steak two ways -- both cuts cooked perfectly to medium rare -- and the lobster linguine was delicately fragrant, buttery, and slightly acidic all at once. The chips and eggplant dip (kind of like hummus consistency) was kind of a fun, shareable starter too. I will say that I wasn't impressed with the ceviche or branzino our waiter recommended it. The branzino particularly came out a bit dry, and more of the tomato-olive-caper side or dressing would've helped. And while our waiter answered our questions, service felt a little more on the less attentive side.
