The prices were very reasonable, and the food was better than any other taco cart I've ever had. Luis and Cristian were our cooks for the day of the party, and they did such an excellent job. It was easily 100 degrees outside when they had to set up, but they worked hard regardless, and were very respectful to everyone. They cleaned up after, and we just needed to provide containers, into which they packed all the leftovers into. Overall, a great a experience and I will definitely be recommending them to my friends and using them again for my future events!

Great hole-in-the-wall spot for perfectly smoked tri-tip!…read more Englund's operates out of a small space in a business park across the street from Diablo Creek Golf Course, near the old Concord Naval Weapons Station. After reading the raving review by my buddy Jay G., I knew I had to give this place a try. I came here for lunch with a friend on 11/15/2019. When we arrived at noon, there was already a short line out the door. A quick peek inside revealed a clean interior. There were a few tables inside (plus a couple outside) for dine-in customers. A TV on the wall was tuned to the Food Channel. By the time I was done scanning the interior, it was my turn to order. I got their famous tri-tip sandwich ($9.95) with a few condiments and avocado added ($1 extra), potato salad ($2.95), and a fountain drink ($1.75). The total, with tax, was $17.02 (pro tip: order takeout to avoid paying sales tax). The sandwich was massive and delicious! The tri-tip was seasoned with their house blend of dry rub and smoked to a perfect medium rare. The meat was tender and moist. They didn't overuse the dry rub which allowed the flavor of the meat to shine through. The portion was very generous. There was at least half a pound of meat in the sandwich. My friend couldn't finish his and had to take it home. The potato salad was tasty as well. It was creamy but not mushy. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. I'm so glad I finally gave this place a try. Great food, great value. 5 stars in my book! BONUS MATERIAL: - Business hours Tue-Fri 11 am to 2:30 pm. - Major credit cards accepted. - Ample parking on site. - Catering service available.

From our very first conversation with Juan, we knew we were in great hands. Having exceptional and memorable food was one of our highest priorities, and we wanted to ensure we were serving our loved ones something we genuinely loved ourselves. We scheduled a tasting, and immediately we were blown away. It became clear that we wanted Juan and his team to be part of our wedding day. My husband and I have said countless times that we wish Juan had his own restaurant so we could enjoy his incredible food more often. The food received rave reviews from our guests, and we heard countless compliments throughout the evening and days after about how delicious everything was. Beyond the outstanding cuisine, Juan and his team were efficient, professional, and genuinely kind. The setup was seamless, beautifully executed, and contributed greatly to the overall experience. We are still in awe of how perfectly everything came together and are incredibly grateful to Juan and the entire Elisa's Catering team for helping make our wedding so special. We wholeheartedly recommend Elisa's Catering to anyone looking for exceptional food and outstanding service. We look forward to working with them again for future events and cannot thank them enough for the unforgettable experience they provided!

We interviewed with a bunch of caterers and tried a handful. We ended up with Juan because of 3 factors. As a foodie couple, we wanted to put emphasis on food for our wedding and Juan had some delicious food. Juan was super easy to work with. Juan was a one-stop-shop that also helped with rentals, linen and bartending. We contracted with Juan a year out from the big day. We're glad we did because the caterer is one of the big puzzle piece of the wedding. So how was working with Juan? Juan is super busy on weekends, and you'll have way better luck getting a hold of him middle of the week. Juan is also a "getting to yes" kind of person, a problem solver. Our venue had a few surprises that ultimately made the caterer team's job a bit tricky. We watched Juan work the problem. He never lost sight of his goal, make the food happen for our big day. Some of these issues would have been show-stoppers for any other caterers but Juan remained commited to making it happen. Ok, so how was the food? Soooo goooood. We were looking forward to the food even before our wedding. Our guests would let us know how good the food was, and then let us know they enjoyed our wedding...in that order... There were a few special items we wanted at our wedding that Juan didn't have on his menu. He was open to working with us on those items and they turned out great! All in all, Juan from Elisa's Catering was one of our top 3 best decisions we have made during our wedding planning phase. He brought the food and made a lot of things happen during the big day. We highly recommend giving Juan a serious look for your catering needs.
