Check-in Counter - Across from British Airways
    Jon L.

Upgrading to four stars based on my recent flights to Asia with ANA. ANA offers some of the best fares for traveling to Asia. While their fares to Tokyo are quite high, flying to Hong Kong and many cities in SE Asia is quite reasonable. You can find fares during the winter/spring and fall for under $800. You can do stopovers in Tokyo as well. Though not free, they are about $100 additional which is actually still cheaper than a non-stop flight to Tokyo on ANA from Seattle. I don't know why flights to Tokyo from Seattle never go on sale! I booked my most recent trip through the ANA website since I was flying to multiple destinations and airports. I checked the major online travel websites and the itinerary that I wanted was pricing out much higher than on the ANA website which is why. There was an issue with my credit card payment for booking the flights initially, so I called ANA and they were helpful in rectifying the issue. As for my flights to and from Seattle, I flew on a Boeing 777 which I much prefer over the Dreamliner. On the Boeing 777, there is several inches more of legroom in economy. The seat map indicated that the layout of the economy cabin was a 2-4-3 configuration, which I got one of the seats in the 2 section. However on both flights, the cabin was a 3-4-3. On my flight to Tokyo due to the configuration, the middle seat was empty. Unfortunately on my return flight, both seats were filled. Still it was fine since I still had the extra legroom. I think due to seasonal travel reasons, ANA has reverted again to using to Dreamliner for flights to and from Seattle as of late October. However, they will be flying the Star Wars plane on this route in December so that is something to look forward to if you are taking one of their flights or if you are plane spotting at Sea-Tac. Though I do wish they will use the Boeing 777 again for summer travel next year. On both of my flights to and from Seattle, there was a delay. Fortunately, the delay was not very long so I wasn't heavily impacted. Though on the flight to Seattle, they changed gates and the new gate was on the other side of terminal which was a little annoying. But as always, the in-flight service was great flying on ANA. If you are traveling to Asia, I highly recommend flying ANA. I like flying through Tokyo as it allows me some break time off the plane before another long flight to my final destination.

The website was easy to navigate, and all important details such as flight schedule, fare summary, baggage allowance, and seat selection were clearly mentioned. On the day of travel, I completed web check-in to avoid waiting in long lines. At the airport, the ground staff were polite and professional while assisting passengers. They managed the counters efficiently and handled queries calmly. Boarding was announced clearly and carried out in an orderly manner. Based on this experience, I would consider choosing this airline again for future travel.!! The 24-hours, toll-free Qatar Airways customer service and reservations number is 1 (877) 456-2077™ or +1 (855) 470-0503. This line is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for flight bookings, changes, rebooking, group travel, cancellations, refunds and general customer support. *Effortless Booking & Clear Travel Setup* I chose JetBlue primarily because of its strong reputation for customer service, convenient West Coast route network, and competitive fares. Compared with several competing carriers, JetBlue offered the most practical itinerary and convenient departure times for my trip. The booking process was smooth and easy to navigate. Fare options, baggage allowances, seat selections, and upgrade opportunities were clearly displayed, making it simple to customize my trip according to my travel preferences. *Priority Airport Experience & Efficient Flow* My airport experience started positively. Check-in counters were well organized, and airline staff members were courteous and efficient. Security screening moved smoothly, and boarding commenced close to the scheduled departure time. Although the gate area became crowded shortly before departure, the overall boarding process remained relatively organized and stress-free. JetBlue customer support can help with flight reservations, ticket changes, cancellations, baggage inquiries, seat upgrades, check-in assistance, and other travel-related services. *Comfortable Cabin & Calm Environment* Once onboard, the aircraft appeared clean and well-maintained. Most flight attendants were friendly, attentive, and professional throughout the journey. Their positive attitude contributed significantly to the overall experience. However, seat comfort did not entirely meet my expectations. I paid approximately $140 extra for seats that appeared to offer a more comfortable arrangement during booking, only to discover that the actual seating configuration onboard differed slightly from what had been displayed online. My assigned seat, K6, offered limited cushioning, forcing me to use additional pillows and blankets for lower back support during the flight. While manageable on shorter routes, improved seat padding would certainly enhance comfort on longer journeys. *Reliable Journey & Smooth Arrival* The flight departed with only a minor delay and arrived close to schedule. Inflight snack and beverage services were delivered efficiently, and baggage delivery after arrival moved relatively quickly.

There was a woman and a man who were in the back of the plane where the restrooms are. Before the flight even took off, the woman said to her male coworker that "the higher ups" don't like her and that's why she's in the back. They then continued talking extremely loudly to the extent that I and several people seated near me thought the conversation was coming out of the overhead speakers. Their conversations consisted of a kind of flirty exchange where the woman was sharing her entire dating life, stories about being drunk and even saying that she has 6 months clean. They continued talking extremely loudly despite multiple passengers looking back and questioning how they could be so unaware. The plane was extremely quiet as many people were returning from Las Vegas so extremely tired and trying to nap. After about 45 minutes, I went to the bathroom near them and politely asked if they realized that the whole back half of the plane e could hear their entire conversation. The response was that this is how they keep themselves awake on the job and began laughing and exchanging undermining and outwardly rude glances. I went back to my seat and about 10 minutes later, a man who was two rows from the back of the plane stood up and asked something similar to the following...would you guys mind keeping it down? We have spent the entire time on this flight listening to your discussions about inappropriate subjects and we would appreciate it if you would remain professional and spare us the details of your personal lives. They laughed and did not respond at which point t he said, "no wonder the higher up's don't like you." They continued to converse loudly and snicker about the passengers requests. At one point a different flight attendant approached them and we thought she would be asking them to quiet down but within moments she was laughing and clearly not informing them that they were out of line. At this time, I was filming and attempting to Document the situation. The woman then approached my seat and demanded that I stop recording. She had a red card and said if I did not stop recording she would hand the red card and I would be met by the police upon landing. When I tried to explain the situation, she said that she was unaware of that and when I asked for a supervisor, she stated the there was no supervisor on board and reminded me that it is against privacy rules to Record anyone without their permission. Overall, this was the worst flight I have ever experienced. The lack of professionalism and common courtesy was astounding. I will never fly with Frontier again.

The connection in Doha was only 45 minutes, which is completely unrealistic. Because of this, she missed her connecting flight and lost an entire day of her trip. This wasn't just her many other passengers missed their connections too because of the same issue. I don't play about my mom, and this whole situation has me beyond angry. Thankfully, Qatar Airways did provide a hotel for everyone who was stranded, but that doesn't make up for the lost time and stress they caused. What made the situation even worse was that one of the agents lied to multiple passengers. They told everyone they would arrange and pay for a rental car so they could go out and explore Doha for about three hours during the unexpected stay. That never happened. They got people's hopes up with promises they never kept. On top of that, passengers weren't even given food money or meal vouchers. Losing an entire day of an international trip because of a connection that was far too short is unacceptable. The poor communication, false promises, and lack of proper customer service made an already frustrating situation even worse. I genuinely do NOT recommend booking with Qatar Airways.

Take our recent quick 2-day trip from LAS to SEA. Roundtrip tickets were barely over $100 per person round trip. Holy crap! Say what you want, but that is a real good price! Bag fees are tricky for me. If I have a short trip I don't need to pack a lot. No matter what you do, you do get a free personal item. That is really calling it too tight for comfort, IMO. So, for this last trip I did an upgrade on their website for $35 per way, per person ($140.00 total). My extra $140 got us assigned seating to sit next to my partner for both flights near the front of the plane for both legs. It also got both of us a free carry-on item each, both ways in addition to our personal item. More than enough for a 2-day trip! Considering the fact that, if you checked in a bag at the airport day of, it could cost you $65 per bag, per leg that feels like a great deal! The airline is known for offering flights to the most destinations around the world. I flew on Turkish a few years ago from Seattle to Thessaloniki via Istanbul during spring break. For the most part, it was a good experience. The pluses are mostly with the in-flight experience. They use Dreamliner planes and serve tasty meals on all flights, including my short haul flights to and from Greece. The IFE system has extensive entertainment and they give all passengers an amenity bag on long haul flights. Lastly, the baggage allowance is generous as you can check in 2 bags. I do also want to bring up some items to consider booking on Turkish. My flight to Istanbul was nearly a hour late, but I still made my connection. Try not to book flights with short layovers. Also some of the connections have long layovers to destinations in the Middle East and Central Asia with flights arriving at odd hours. You may want to consider doing a stopover in Istanbul instead, which Turkish has a good program for. Lastly, gate security in Istanbul is extensive. So expect a thorough check of your carryon items before your flight. Overall, I enjoyed flying on Turkish. It is a well run airline with good fares to Europe and a great in-flight experience.
