    Why Satan of all airlines
    Trika C.

I HATE Frontier Airlines. This was a last minute trip due to my Aunt passing away. I was so relieved to find a flight from Seattle to Texas for $200, three hour layover going and coming back. Six hours total layover time. For the discount we were willing to do the layover. Spoiler alert!!!! Yes, this discount airfare is to good to be true :( Alaska airlines was priced at $300 round trip non-stop. We are a family of four, choosing Frontier Airlines initially saved me $400... I thanked God for covering my family during our time of loss. The devil heard our praises and got busy. The airfare is a bate to scam you as soon as you finalize your ticket. We had to pay $100 each to take our backpacks on this flight because the top strap of our backpacks, one of the backpacks shown in the picture was over the top of the box, that your bag is sized in. The manager shown in the picture initially said the bag needed to fit in the box, once I got the bag in the box the manager said we needed to pay $100 for the backpacks, due to the strap not being in the box. This airline is the devil :(... If you feel good about finding an affordable flight with Frontier Airlines, do note that if you're bring anything other than yourself that you did not pay additional for, Satan's little helpers will find away to scam you out of more money to accommodate the price of the airfare. I still ended up paying $300 per person for a flight with six hours of layover time. I will not make this mistake again!

This airline let me stranded without compensation. Arguments between myself and frontier airline below before small claim court hearing. "Our records indicate you boarded flight 2580 from PDX-PHX, and when arriving in PHX, notification was sent at 3:56am MST notifying you flight 2246 was cancelled due to maintenance. " The statement above is untrue. According to email sent from Frontier Airline at 1:25 AM, flight 2246 was reaching capacity. Nowhere in any frontier airline email contain the word "cancellation due to maintenance". This is a breach of contract by lying to the customer, therefore the contract is voided. All evidence are shown in the images attached with this message. "As a customer service gesture for the inconvenience, all passengers were issued $100 travel vouchers and offered to be rebooked on the next available Frontier flight, or to be issued a refund. Notification to the cancellation as well as for action to be taken was sent to xxx@GMAIL.COMand the phone number on file. No action was taken by you to be rebooked or refunded. As no action was taken, a refund of $52.23 which includes the impacted segment and the portion of the seat fee purchased on April 17, 2024 back to the MasterCard used at purchase ending in x5902. Refunds for completed segments would not be issued under the Contract." This is my first time ever flying Frontier Airline. I was exhausted due to an unexpected 2 1/2 hour delay in the first segment of the Frontier Airline flight, arriving at 2:38 am. There are many people resting and sleeping on the ground like myself in the waiting area. Due to other passengers' noise (snoring sounds), I put on my earplug and therefore did not hear the text message immediately at 3:56 am. I took take action immediately, around 6 AM when I woke up, according to email link to rebook or refund provided from your airline. However, the email link leads to nowhere (and still is as of 4/16/24). Video clip of such failure from your airline included below. I told Frontier Airline attendant (shown in attached pictures) about my need to catch my connecting flight with Spirit Airline at 2 PM. She said, there is no option for Frontier Airline to reroute me to catch that connection flight. She told me that frontier airline cannot fly me back to my origination city, pdx, either. That's why I purchased a same day Alaska airline ticket flying me back to Pdx more than $400 one way. All of my statements above have documentation for support. Out of 300 flights at Phoenix Arizona airport on the date on my flight, there is only one flight was canceled, which was mine (evidence shown in the picture of below). This proves your airline's substandard flight service. Lack of option to compensate for your substandard flight, either by returning the customer back to origination point or rerouting to catch connection flight proved your substandard customer service. I think your company will have issue in justifying to the judge the harsh customer contract, out of the normal range for airline industry and out of range for a layman's expectation. Therefore, I will let the judges decide who is more reasonable. In addition, prior to the court date, I plan to disseminate my evidence, including your response throughout social media account to let others know about the standard practice of your company, including Google, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and others. It is simply a cut and paste effort for me. If I happen to win this case, I will provide instruction on social media on how to file such a claim for other people to emulate. See you in court. This terrible airline had ample space and made us check our bags, don't use them!

Paid for baggage and they didn't return our money, clearly plenty of room. They have terrible service and ruined our carry ons thst we were made yo check!

Even with the seat assignments, charging for the 2nd bag and having to check in for boarding groups can seem more cumbersome and inefficient; the one thing that STILL stands out to me is the Gold Standard of customer service that has NOT changed! From curb check-in, Ticket counter and Gate agents, everyone still greets me with a smile, and goes above and beyond to help with any questions or concerns. I especially would like to point out a recent experience I had at the Seattle Ticket Counter with agent: Vise - She was so gracious, and worked to reroute us even though our booked flights were over 10 hours away still, and put us in seats together through both legs of our trip and got us home a half day earlier than planned. This has helped me realize that great customer service still exists and that is why I still Fly SWA! :)

Assistance is available for bookings, flight changes, refunds, and baggage requirements. **Comfortable Cabin & Calm Environment** Once onboard, the aircraft appeared clean and well-maintained. Most flight attendants were friendly, attentive, and professional throughout the journey. Their positive attitude contributed significantly to the overall experience. However, seat comfort did not entirely meet my expectations. I paid approximately $140 extra for seats that appeared to offer a more comfortable arrangement during booking, only to discover that the actual seating configuration onboard differed slightly from what had been displayed online. My assigned seat, K6, offered limited cushioning, forcing me to use additional pillows and blankets for lower back support during the flight. While manageable on shorter routes, improved seat padding would certainly enhance comfort on longer journeys. **Reliable Journey & Smooth Arrival** The flight departed with only a minor delay and arrived close to schedule. Inflight snack and beverage services were delivered efficiently, and baggage delivery after arrival moved relatively quickly. Unfortunately, customer service before departure proved frustrating. I initially contacted a representative in Seattle regarding flight details and aircraft information. I was then transferred to another department, believed to be located in Portland, where I was informed they could not assist and provided another contact number. After several transfers and repeated explanations, I was eventually redirected back to the original department before finally receiving the information I needed. The aircraft itself looked attractive, and the majority of cabin crew members worked hard throughout the journey. However, cabin cleanliness declined slightly as the flight progressed. A few passengers were loud and inconsiderate, while some lavatories required additional attention after several hours in the air. Although Iberia provided excellent customer-focused service, convenient route options, and professional cabin crews, the inconsistent customer support, disappointing seat comfort, and minor cleanliness concerns overshadowed some of the positives.

Thankfully, Qatar Airways did provide a hotel for everyone who was stranded, but that doesn't make up for the lost time and stress they caused. What made the situation even worse was that one of the agents lied to multiple passengers. They told everyone they would arrange and pay for a rental car so they could go out and explore Doha for about three hours during the unexpected stay. That never happened. They got people's hopes up with promises they never kept. On top of that, passengers weren't even given food money or meal vouchers. I mean, at this point what can I really say about Spirit that we all don't already know?…read more I still say in certain situations; they can be a decent fit. Take our recent quick 2-day trip from LAS to SEA. Roundtrip tickets were barely over $100 per person round trip. Holy crap! Say what you want, but that is a real good price! Bag fees are tricky for me. If I have a short trip I don't need to pack a lot. No matter what you do, you do get a free personal item. That is really calling it too tight for comfort, IMO. So, for this last trip I did an upgrade on their website for $35 per way, per person ($140.00 total). My extra $140 got us assigned seating to sit next to my partner for both flights near the front of the plane for both legs. It also got both of us a free carry-on item each, both ways in addition to our personal item. More than enough for a 2-day trip! Considering the fact that, if you checked in a bag at the airport day of, it could cost you $65 per bag, per leg that feels like a great deal! I mean, even with the extra money my total ticket price is still under $200 each round trip. I can totally live with that! As for the flights themselves, it is still Spirit so keep your expectations reasonable (read:low). Both flights were delayed, but nothing too bad. Usual mix of some very nice employees and some mildly passive ones as well. Nothing too bad. Honestly, I can bitch all I want, but I know for the right price and a short enough trip I will use them again. 3 stars.

The airline is known for offering flights to the most destinations around the world. I flew on Turkish a few years ago from Seattle to Thessaloniki via Istanbul during spring break. For the most part, it was a good experience. The pluses are mostly with the in-flight experience. They use Dreamliner planes and serve tasty meals on all flights, including my short haul flights to and from Greece. The IFE system has extensive entertainment and they give all passengers an amenity bag on long haul flights. Lastly, the baggage allowance is generous as you can check in 2 bags. I do also want to bring up some items to consider booking on Turkish. My flight to Istanbul was nearly a hour late, but I still made my connection. Try not to book flights with short layovers. Also some of the connections have long layovers to destinations in the Middle East and Central Asia with flights arriving at odd hours. You may want to consider doing a stopover in Istanbul instead, which Turkish has a good program for. Lastly, gate security in Istanbul is extensive. So expect a thorough check of your carryon items before your flight. Overall, I enjoyed flying on Turkish. It is a well run airline with good fares to Europe and a great in-flight experience. However, you should consider travel time, especially layovers and the amount of backtracking needed to get to your destination when deciding whether to book.

We flew Turkish Airlines from Madrid to Seattle in 2025, via Istanbul, and we had a great…read moreexperience. Our layover was long enough to be able to get to our next gate, and yet short enough to feel like we weren't wasting time. The flight was frankly luxurious compared to other long international flights. We flew to South America yearly for a while, and the economy experience on Turkish Airlines was like the Business Class experience on the unnamed airline to Montevideo. There were always two options for the meals. My wife was able to get gluten-free meals. The help staff was extremely friendly and helpful. It may well have been the best long flight experience in my life.

Had amazing experience flying from Seattle to Helsinki to my home country Latvia with Finnair…read more Finnair expanded their flights and I was happy to see that I can fly trough Helsinki instead of Frankfurt to my home country out of Seattle because layover was shorter and it's also only 1 hour flight from Helsinki to Riga. Finnair partner up with British airways business lounge and it was very decent food and drinks (compare what I had with Lufthansa last year few celery sticks and a cookie). The lounge wasn't so big and one can hear some rude people speaking loud on their phones but it had a nice view of the runway. Our flight was on time and I was settling in my Business class seat after short boarding process. They welcomed me with the drink ( I choose their signature blueberry juice and Northern Blush cocktail -must try) and they also provide amenity kit (which was disappointing) It didn't had toothbrush or any socks, also their cream had very bad smell and texture. I hope they will improve that. The wireless phone charger didn't work for me because my phone has a case and it was not picking it up. Pillow blanket and pad were provided, also I noticed that I didn't got any slippers because when I was leaving the plane I saw many people had same slippers. Food was very good on the way there. I had for an appetizer crab meat with mayo mousse, caprese salad and nice piece of salmon with veggies. For dessert I had raspberry tart with tea. And plenty of blueberry juice- thats my favorite! (Unfortunately food on the way back wasn't great. They ran out of their signature drink Northern Blush at Helsinki which is Finnair hub!!! Smocked salmon on the way back was too salty and too smocked. Weird food options like shrimp quiche for breakfast or pork dinner which is not so appealing even to person that doesn't have any dietary restrictions. Both breakfast and dinner were bad, breakfast looked poor and tasted poor and dinner I couldn't even eat. Also why to serve cauliflower as a side on a long haul flights). Important to note seat doesn't recline but it lay flat! So you can't adjust it for a recliner like on other planes. Also belt is like in a car. But it didn't bothered me because I could adjust leg part of the seat but not the back. Entertainment was good and they had a lot of good new movies available. I wasn't bored at all! I watch Missis Harris goes to Paris (what an amazing inspirational movie) and The unbearable weight of massive talent. Bed was cozy and I had 4 h nap and woke up to breakfast. Hour and a half before landing in Helsinki they served us Breakfast which was very generous. It had cheese & ham, croissant, bread muffin, fruits, omelette, yogurt and mini jam. I was full and ready to spend 6 h layover at Helsinki! (Originally was 1h40m but then they changed it) Enjoyed my flight and definetely will consider again. Hopefully they will keep their good pricing compare to Swiss and Lufthansa!

I was a bit skeptical at first as I had originally booked with British Air, only to find out that the flights were operated by Finnair. Thankfully, there was clear communication regarding flight details once booked. Onboard, the cabin crew were exceptionally friendly and attentive, ensuring all passengers were comfortable. The meals served were well proportioned for "airline food." You must try their signature blueberry juice! There was a slight delay departing Seattle, but I had no issues with my connecting flight in Helsinki. All of my other flights took off on time, and we arrived a few minutes early each time. The only drawback is with luggage. My particular ticket was for carry-on luggage only. Finnair has a max combined weight of 8kg (~17.5 lbs), which can be difficult to meet with most suitcases. I used a light-weight travel backpack and just barely made the cutoff. Overall, Finnair exceeded my expectations, and I highly recommend them for anyone traveling from Seattle, WA to Vilnius, Lithuania. I will be flying with Finnair again!
