Crown design on right hand, leopard on left.

My experience was fine. I went on two occasions. The first time I just got a pedicure done and I was the only one there. It was a standard pedicure. Some days later I went for a full set with designs. I was seen as soon as I got there. It did not take long at all. I showed them a design that I wanted (somewhat of a crown) and she did it perfectly.

I really held off on leaving this review because I felt bad. Lyly did my nails and she was so nice…read moreand she's going to be an amazing nail tech I'm sure, but she just isn't ready to be doing nails yet. She damaged my nails so badly. The acrylic application was very thick and messy all around the cuticle bed. When she attempted to file and clean down the acrylic, the electric file was pressed too aggressively into the natural nail surface, creating deep grooves and severe unevenness that thinned out my nail beds. The filing technique also caused painful irritation to the skin around my nails. It's been 3 days and my hands are still extremely sore and sensitive. I had not gotten my nails done in months and they were very healthy, so this was not previous damage at all. I also got a pedicure and noticed she used a worn nail file and retrieved tools out of a generic container rather than a freshly sanitized set.

I discovered Nail Spa while browsing Yelp for a nail salon. I initially went in for a pedicure and…read morea new nail dip. As the nail tech was prepping my nails, I noticed all the sample nail designs and thought, Oh, she knows how to do designs. With that in mind, I decided to get acrylic tips instead. I shared a video with her showing a cat-eye French tip design I wanted. As she started working, I felt the nails looked too dark, but I tried to trust the process. She finished one nail and asked for my opinion. I asked if it was the final product, but due to a language barrier, she called over a man I believe is the owner. He explained that the nail wasn't finished and there were more layers to add, so I said okay. When everything was done, she executed the design perfectly, but it was much darker than I wanted. I had hoped for a pink design but left with a dark pink and greenish-looking nail. I tried to love it but couldn't, so I returned the next day to request a color change. Initially, the owner implied I would need to pay for the redesign, but when I explained that I had expressed my dissatisfaction the day before, he agreed to fix it at no charge. Because of this good customer service, I decided to give them another chance, but I opted for a different nail tech this time and requested Michael. During my fill, I had to point out areas where the nails weren't shaped correctly. Even during polishing, I had to ask him to go over spots he missed. I asked for blue chrome nails with glitter, and he initially said it was possible. However, after prepping my nails, he called over a coworker, showed him the picture, and then told me he couldn't execute the design. As a result, I left with plain nail polish. Michael was apologetic and said they'd have the chrome powder next time, but by then, the experience left me disappointed. The staff is nice, and I appreciate that they allow both appointments and walk-ins. However, there's something about the vibe of the salon that feels off, so I won't be returning. That said, if you're in a pinch and need something affordable, they might be worth a try.

The good: Sweet staff. Clean-looking result. Got me in last minute…read more The not so good: $65 for a gel pedicure with French tips at a place with no reclining chairs, no water jets, and reused foot scrubbers. The "organic" label seems to serve more as a price justifier than a real differentiator. No posted menu, unclear pricing after asking multiple times, and no receipt upon checkout. I stayed because I was in a rush, but I would not return. If you are low-maintenance and just need it done, it works. If you want a full experience for that price point, keep looking.

I've been a loyal customer here, and the nail technicians themselves are genuinely nice, but the…read morecustomer service I received recently was ridiculous. My gel manicure started peeling after only about six days. I called on the EIGHTH DAY after my appointment to let them know and ask for it to be redone. They told me they only guarantee gel manicures for one week. Fine, but I was calling literally one day after that period because the manicure had already started peeling before the week was even over. They offered to schedule the repair only if I came back within two weeks of my original appointment. I explained that I had meetings and could not make it within that specific timeframe, and asked to schedule it a little later. They refused and told me they would not fix it if the appointment was more than two weeks after my original service. How does that make any sense? I reported the problem immediately. The fact that I physically couldn't come in during their narrow timeframe somehow became my problem. What made it worse was the attitude. The woman kept saying she needed to speak with my technician and questioning everything in a way that made me feel like she thought I was lying. Over a $40 to $50 manicure? Seriously? A gel manicure should not start peeling after six days, and a loyal customer who reports the problem right away should not have to argue just to get it fixed. Nice technicians are great, but terrible customer service and refusing to stand behind your work will absolutely make customers go somewhere else.
