I got the organic pedi and a basic dip mani and it was such a good experience. The pedi was so rejuvenating. Every step of the way Lein made sure the temperature was comfortable for me. The massage was absolutely AMAZING. My feet definitely needed some love and care and she delivered. Everything was a 1 time use product or came out of a sterile package. I work in an OR so I appreciated and was checking that sterilization was actually done on the packs, and it was! My mani turned out great as well! If I could give negative stars, I would. I got a pedicure and eyebrow waxing. The pedicure was the most unpleasant, painful and non relaxing pedicure I've ever received. I specifically asked to leave the length of my nails, not to cut dow, and somehow she cut the whole corner of my nail leaving it short, uneven and PAINFUL. The paint job is just as bad as the service, looking like this paint has been on for at least 2 weeks. Now moving to the eyebrow waxing...burning my skin and pulled some of the skin off! the staff was nice but didn't understand or speak English so when I expressed my concerns during the service she just smiled. All this to waste $82! During the waxing service, she did not lay down a paper towel where I laid my head and when asked, she just patted down. I don't know why I had the service done but just needed a quick clean up. Totally regretting walking through their door. I came here about a year ago and got a pedicure and it affected my toe very badly. The owner immediately called me back when he saw the review and offered a refund for me. I thought that was nice so I change my review from one start to five stars, but a year later and after probably four or five surgeries my toe is absolutely messed up and it will never be the same. I've spent hundreds of dollars on medical procedures and medication to restore my toe, which is now permanently messed up. It absolutely frustrates the heck out of me that a pedicure did this to my toe and while I appreciate the owner trying to make up for the initial cost of the pedicure, I've spent close to half a grand if not more on the procedures. Do not go here as they do not properly sanitize their equipment and you could risk permanently messing up your fingers or toes. read more

Blush has been opened since late last year and was pretty busy when we arrived for our pedicure appointments on a Monday. They also served different varieties of drinks, which included wine. I gave them 3 stars due to the following: 1. Location: I was visiting family, so I'm not from around the area, but it's a great location next to the main road with ample parking spaces. 2. Service: My pedicure overall was decent. Nancy, my technician, was very nice; however, her skillsets aren't up to my standard nor what I'm used to in my hometown of Atlanta. She is fast and efficient, but the polish was all over my cuticles when she was done. Also, the top coat did not cover the whole toenail, so I could see part of the missing top coat. She also did not polish the whole toenail. There are missing polish on either side of my toes. I didn't bring it to management's attention then because I was spending time with a family member and didn't notice it until after I left. I must give her kudos for a great massage, but I honestly rather have pretty polishes on my toes. 3. Price: I thought the price was decent. I had a deluxe pedicure with a sugar scrub, hot towel, and a hot stone massage for $35. A regular pedicure is only $23. Overall, it's a nice place, but not up to par for me. If I had a good technician, then I would have rated this place higher, however, I can't this time. Maybe I'll come back next time when I'm in town and try another person. read more

i am usually not disappointed however i booked an appointment 3 weeks in advance asking for a female tech - i have had a bad experience with a male tech previously. i get there and they take walk ins before me even though i have an appointment and of course i get a male tech. i wanted a full set with dip and just classic french. everything looked great until he actually started painting the tip - extremely sloppy and uneven. i was so confused because usually they shape the bottom with a brush for a clean line but this guy just painted it on and did not fix any of the edges. i had to ask him to fix each finger at least twice and he seems frustrated with me. i felt very uncomfortable and upset in the chair and was very disappointed by the end result. will not be returning for a long time at least ... read more

I've been going here for about a year and a half now and very rarely do I leave disappointed. I typically go to Mandy at their Joppa Rd. Location. I'll show her a picture of what I want and 9/10 she nails (no pun) it. Mya has also done a fantastic job on my nails. They're both very talented when it comes to free hand designs so you can feel comfortable asking them for something unique and intricate. I heard so many great things about this nail salon, I had been dying to try it out. My younger sister was home from college, so I wanted to treat her to a mani/pedi. I booked both of us a regular polish pedicure and a gel manicure. When we first arrived to the salon, I was very impressed. Beautiful interior, looked very clean, and it had top of the line equipment. My sister and I were immediately seated for our pedicure, and overall had a great experience with the pedicure. Other customers had drinks and glasses of wine, but they were never offered to us (maybe you have to ask?) but I was a little disappointed about that. What makes me give this place a 2-star rating is the gel manicure. USUALLY, a gel manicure lasts me over 2 weeks without any signs of chipping. I don't work in a field where I'm rough with my hands, so I shouldn't have a problem. In less than 6 days, I have completely lost polish on two nails, 4 nails are bubbling, and the other 4 are chipped in some way. I'm very disappointed in the quality of the manicure, and will most likely not return since both my sister and I had the same problem. Dropping about $100 in total for both of us made me expect more, and I would rather spend my money at a place where they care about the work walking out of their door. read more

The only thing I didn't like about this trip is that she didn't completely cover my nail in polish, and she filed a little too close to my skin which caused it to bleed a little. Pleased with the services I received the last few times I've been. I will say some techs are more experienced than others but I've never had a significant problem. Reasonably/average pricing- $35 gel pedicure & $35 fill in. I would recommend making an appointment because they fill up quickly! Only negative thing I'll say is the last time I came in I was talked into not getting tips. Because it was going to take longer for the tech to get to her next appt. They push dip powder which is better for your nails. I have no problem trying stuff out. But I ALWAYS get tips so I figured why not change it up. This is my new go to place - it's so clean and aesthetically pleasing. I got a deluxe pedicure ($32) and an ombré dip powder full set ($55). More on the expensive side, I know, but sometimes you have to ~treat yo' self~. Both turned out fantastic. The deluxe pedicure included callus remover, lotion, hot stones, etc. Definitely worth the price! Since it was my first time with the dip powder, the nail technician informed me about the process, benefits, and extra charges. I appreciated her letting me know the ombré dip powder was an additional charge since most nail places fail to tell you when there's an up charge. Oh, and they serve (free) wine. Need I say more? Tried this place for the first time today and I absolutely hated it. Each nail tech is a pushy saleswomen and they get upset if you just want the standard package. Pedicures start at $25 for the classic and go all the way up to $40-$50 for the deluxe. If you're not interested in anything above the classic, expect mediocre service. No callous removal. No lotion on your feet. Why would I pay $50 for something that is considered standard at every other nail salon in the area? I guess they consider themselves an upscale boutique because they offer a wine. Long story short, I wouldn't recommend (unless you're willing to trade a bad pedicure for a cheap glass of wine). read more

I was convinced to give "dip" a try. The next morning, I removed them. To me, they looked thick, lumpy, bubbled and scratchy fake nails. I have an important meeting this Tuesday, so my hands needed to be flawless. The nails were far from flawless. I returned the next morning for a regular manicure. Didn't I get the same technician? I sure did. She was surprised and very sweet. She wondered why I couldn't wait a week to see if they grew on me (no pun intended). Instead of bashing her work or explaining the importance of having flawless nails, I simply said I didn't like them and they had to go. She proceeded to do the manicure. She was quite speedy, didn't really clean up my cuticles as well until I asked her to go back, specifically on one of them, which she did. Unlike a lot of techs, she was VERY gentle, and no blood (yes, that happens). The hand massage was minimal. I don't know the tech's name and wouldn't share it if I did. She's sweet, and I'm sure she does a fine job for others. The manager (at least I think she was) caught wind of what happened and insisted (as in waited for me outside and all but dragged me back in) on giving me a gift card toward my next visit, even had the owner of the shop on the phone. It truly wasn't necessary as I had planned to return to ask for one of two techs who were recommended. Here's what she (the manager) did that made this a 4-star experience. She ran back into the shop as I was getting in my car. Before I could even get my car started, she and the receptionist ran out with a gift card. The manager even opened my car door to make sure I couldn't pull away. That's over-the-top customer service and I truly appreciated it. The salon is nice, clean and everyone is friendly. Again, the tech, whose name I don't know, is probably very good, just not for me. Some of the nails I saw were show stoppers, really beautiful designs and they looked really well done. There was a lot of dipping going on in there. Most customers had appointments, and I'd highly encourage an appointment as it was quite busy Saturday night and Sunday morning. read more

First things first Sienna might be the best nail tech they have so if it's not with her i wouldn't even book here. I got a great mani pedi from her my first visit. My last visit yesterday i got my nails done with two different nail techs. I had an appt at 530 PM for a gel pedi and dip mani. For my pedicure i got an elder woman, Nancy. She was sweet but doing nails is not for her. I sat down and she asked me what color i wanted and didn't even bother starting up the water for my pedi. She began to remove my polish and filing my nails down and began to paint. I told her i wanted a pedicure and then she replied as if she was shocked and just washed my feet no soap no bubbles no callus or cuticle removal...that was strike one. Strike two she began coating my nails and just lathered on the gel. Gel if you get your nails done you know it has to be applied evenly or it just looks bulky and clumped. I let her finish and requested that a different nail tech change my polish if they had time which they granted me. Next i wait an hour (now 650 PM from my 530 PM appointment) to get my dip gel done. My appointment was for a Dip MANICURE and the nail tech, Holly, told me the ladies don't do manicures with dip and that it would be more money for me to do a manicure...enough said about that..i proceeded to tell her my appt was for a manicure and would like one and she said ok she put my nails in some hot water took off some cuticles and then called that the manicure whatever this was already strike 10 with them but this was my last option before vacation and it was pushing 8pm now. After my nails were "done" she told me to let my hands dry... if I'm getting dip why am i waiting for my nails to dry...as they dried it was a clumpy MESSS the polish was all over my fingers and she tried to tell me it would go away when i wash my hands...like if i wanted to make a mess i could've done it at home myself. The only reason i gave them 2 stars is because i finally complained and they sent another tech to fix both my hands and feet which going by the picture you can see was a rushed mediocre job since the place was closed already and they wanted to go home. They finished mine (thank god) and ended up mixing up the tools they used on me with the tools for the girl next to me so they just grabbed whatever, some were used on my feet, to do hers.
