Jeremiah's communication heading into the move was excellent and Mike and his team arrived right in the window they said they would. As soon as I gave them the rundown of the place, they wasted ZERO time and got straight to work - all the way until the last item was carried into the new place. Heading into this move, I was worried about taking apart our bed frames and putting them back together. Mission Movers took care of it at no extra cost. But the biggest thing for me is how friendly and HONEST the team was. One of my dining chairs was already cracked before the move and they approached me and apologized for thinking they did it. That small gesture went a long way for me and I know they were going to find a solution even if it was their fault. They also could've charged me for a full 4 hours but charged me to the exact minute they worked at 3.75 hours. I had already packed about 99% of my stuff, so they mainly needed to wrap furniture and box a few larger items I didn't have boxes for. They worked fast but were extremely careful. They loaded the entire truck in about 3.5 hours, which was impressive considering I was moving from a house to a house and had a lot of furniture. The unloading in Las Vegas was even more impressive. They finished in about 2 hours, including putting two beds back together. One of them was a heavy Sleep Number bed with the base, and I honestly don't know how they managed to get it down the stairs in California and back up the stairs in my new house without a scratch. Orange County Rescue Mission is open Friday to Wednesday from 8am-5pm, Closed Thursdays. I've previously had my donations picked up, or gone to donation bins, or dropped a few things off at Goodwill. Orange County Rescue Mission has a drive thru drop-off for your donations. I had 5 boxes, so a lovely gentleman brought a bin on wheels over and helped me put my boxes inside. He asked if I would need a receipt for my taxes but I politely declined. I do believe the items I donated had good value but I don't have much experience with taxes and previous receipts I've gotten usually end up missing by tax season. Prior to donating my things, I was able to go on their website and see exactly what items they accept. This helped a LOT because there were actually a lot of items I wouldn't have even considered donating like unused toiletries. I would probably try to give them to a family member or a friend of perhaps end up just tossing it away. I'm really glad they provide a list of acceptable items for donating!! I hope other people who wish to donate items really do READ lists such as this one, so they are aware of what can be donated. I just remembered people from my past who would try to donate opened foods, & insisted they were still good because they were non-perishables. Some people just don't know you can't donate ANYTHING. I don't understand people who donate things that they wouldn't use, if the same or similar item were donated to them (in the same manner). Some behaviors are perplexing. Anyway!! I LOVE this place and I'm currently working on filling up another 3 boxes. I'll have to go buy some more boxes so I can start sorting through my storage unit as well!! I do have a few questions on some items and what condition they must be in to be accepted for donation. I'm pretty sure they had a number on the same page that I could call and ask, which I will be doing, just haven't gotten around to it yet! I hate when people hand out 5 star reviews to businesses for just doing their job, but I got to say, I'm giving them 5 stars for the tenacity that Ramone and his guys displayed. I had my doubts about our office floor (Its VCT tile) whether Ramone and his boys at All in one could get it clean as it he was claiming. It was severely stained and marked up. I told him we would just replace it, (I thought he was just trying to sell me on his service) but he insisted if he stripped it he could work out the marks and stains and he said it would look almost new after he waxed it. So we had him do my office and as he was stripping the floor with his machine, I saw the marks and stains were not going to come out, so I was about to tell him to stop and never mind, but before I could say anything, I watched this guy get down on the floor and just work on these spots and marks with a hand scraper as he was stripping it. LOL. It took him a while but I got to hand it to this company, they went out of their way to impress, and boy, they did just that! After seeing what he did with my office we had him do the rest of our offices (about 2,000 sf). Its not common you see this kind of work ethic in this industry anymore. I called All In One to have some cubicles removed from our location. They sent an estimator over to our office right away. He was thorough and the estimate was very clear. The pricing was great so we decided to give them a chance. I'm so happy we did! They removed all of our cubicles and even helped us with a few other things, although we hadn't planned for them. It is my opinion that this company lures potential clients in by advertising low prices and…read moreguaranteed next day delivery with out either the intention or the capability of doing so. I hired 2 movers with the expectation that with my help, my one bedroom apartment would be packed into their truck in 4 to 4 1/2 hours. I estimated this time because the same exact furniture was moved out of my previous apartment with the help 3 family members moving very slowly in 5- 51/2 hours. I expected "professionals" to work at least as quickly as I did, this was a mistake. The 2 movers arrived on time and called me when they arrived to coordinate parking which was helpful in getting them as close to my unit as possible. They the entered my unit to get a more detailed understanding of what they would be moving and asked me to read and sign the contract. The gentleman in charge then showed me his timer to confirm the start time and began timing. Both of the gentlemen then left the unit to get their equipment. After about 10 minutes I went over to the truck to see what I could do to help, I found the gentleman in charge FaceTiming someone who seemed to be a friend for several minutes. This set the tone for the day. The two men knew that we paid for a 3 hour minimum and moved as slow as possible to ensure that they went over the 3 hour time so that they could get paid more. This assertion is not only passed off of their slow movement, which is subjective, but is also based off of seeing one of the workers constantly on his phone walking back and forth acting as if he was working. For proof I have attached a picture with the gentleman in the green shirt that was in charge. While I was on the 4th floor inside of my unit, he left to the 1st floor common area without my knowledge to sit on his phone. My issue is not someone taking a break, it was a hot day. But I will not pay for someone who is charging me by the hour to sit on his phone. This picture was taken by my wife who he did not recognize. He continued to take calls, FaceTime, move slow and at one point said while I was moving boxes "Don't push yourself, we don't need to rush." It wasn't until I confronted him for sitting in the picture that the two movers began moving at a steady pace. This came with a drastically different attitude and it became very obvious that they did not want to work as quickly as they were. The move took 6 hours and the last hour consisted of me moving roughly 25% of my unit out into the hallway by myself and my wife and I loading the truck so that I could confirm to leasing that I was moved out and the two movers pouting and making comments at my work speed. The "next day delivery" took 4 days. I received a call the next day saying that my items would be delivered on either Saturday or Sunday (pick up was Wednesday) because the driver was injured. I asked if it was the same people that loaded the the truck and the operator said yes. I called the operator (guy in the green shirt) who said he was told to wait on further orders and he was not injured. I suspect they stacked pick ups and delivery's so that could maximize time. When the delivery arrived the two original mover were there + 1. This +1 I would find out was a hitch hiker who asked me to give him the gate code out of my storage unit facility. I won't say more about that. The movers were in a bad mode and reminded me that the blankets they wrapped my furniture in would have to be removed or paid for. I had to remove each one of them. I will say that I received a discount but I did not hire this company for the price I hired them for the next day delivery which they did not complete. They were unprofessional, rude, lazy and expected to take advantage of their clients. I suspect the other comments are not from actual clients as my experience was totally opposite. Do not hire.
