I've been coming here for years!! Mainly in the summer (pedicure season) or special occasions. Never had any issues until recently. I usually just let anyone do my nails. Some are better than usual. Lately the communication has been off. A few weeks ago my mom made an appt for both of us and they only scheduled one of us so I had to wait a long time. We always go together and call and make an appt beforehand. Then they today we come at our 9 am appt and only two people are here and with people. They thought are appt was at 9:30 so again we have to wait. Then they said are appt was the next day so the wrote it down wrong again! They had nerve to act like they were doing us a favor. If you decide to come request Ricki!!! She's the best! Only way I'd be back is if I had her. Also they have young new girl she's horrible! My mom had to remind her to do something and her nail polish has been chipping more than usually. The place is clean and peaceful, but I just can't with the poor service anymore! It is so sad how I have to share a negative review. I live close by and this would have been my go to nail salon because of the convenience. I gave many chances so that I can become a loyal customer. There is one amazing tech by the name Tina, she is graciously gentle and her work is excellent. I only want to go to her and this is why. Anyone else I have gone to and it's hit or miss. It was my daughters surprise birthday party and wanted her nails done as a present and for senior pics. My daughter just wanted a full set, gel, and square shaped. She explained the lady was rushing so fast, seemed very upset, and was painful that around her nails were reddened. This was the finish product and so upset. They charged $45 and my kind daughter still tipped her! I don't trust they will fix it, so I will request a refund, and perhaps update my review . I will wait to see how they take care of us and what level of class they really have. Attached are pictures the day after. I normally get my eyebrows threaded at different places around Fairfield. However I read for a while that Jennifer is the Queen at eyebrows from other Yelpers. She doesn't thread she waxes, plucks and cuts eyebrows. So today I came in for my normal appointment but also added eyebrows. I liked how she carefully crafted my eyebrows into a very natural look. Other threading places at least for me gave me an assembly line feel. But Jennifer expertise shapes my eyebrows. I'll just go to her from now on. They were nice but the lady was very drill happy - felt like she was going to go through my actual nails many times which I don't usually come across at most salons (I was going in for a fill). She also got my pinkie good - there's even blood. She made the skin around my nails pretty raw as well bc the alcohol at the end stung badly. First of i apologize my poor grammar. I dont normally writing review cause i have a bad grammar but this time the service was really bad. So i went in for my mani& pedi. Pedicure was fine but then when Kim start doing my manicure i didn't know that i should tell her that i want "gel full set". Then i told her i want full set after that conversation She started rushing doing my nails because she had to pick up her grandson. She started cutting my cuticle and she went to far. My fingers start to bleed not just one but 5 out of 10!! So i kept looking at it. Then she said "don't worry about it" and "you will be fine" so i sat there let her finish the job. When she finished shaping my acrylic nails she said somebody else will be painting my nails because she had to go pick up her grandson. So Lynne had to finish my nails but at the time she also has customer too but her customer was kind enough to let me go first. After Lynne looked at my nails she started cleaning up my nails again almost like start all over again because the first lady did a poor job on me. After i finished everything they charge me $83 just because when i first walked in i said "i want manicure and pedicure" not "pedicure AND GEL FULL SET" so they charged me for Pedicure $28, Manicure, and GEL FULL SET$40 something. I dont know how i end up with $83. I was so mad didn't even ask. I still give them good amount of tip. I love going to this place to get haircuts from Miss Lianne! Eversince my friend recommended her to me, I never looked another way! I came on Monday because they are usually close on Sundays and were closed for 3 days for the holidays. My sister and I were able to make an appointment that same morning. Miss Lianne is a very good listener. She will walk you through the whole process and ask question and repeat what she thinks you are telling her. This way your hair turns out the exact way you want. Usually I'm super hesitant about getting a haircut because my hair is usually long and thick! but Miss Lianne specializes in adding layers and keeping the length of your hair (unlike other places that go crazy and chop your hair off) :) She unique in a sense that instead of using scissors to cut hair, she uses a razor then finishes off by texturizing your hair. My haircut was $25 but they have other services here for nails, eyebrows, color, and wax. read more

Every few weeks I try a new salon for eyebrow wax. Every few weeks I am disappointed to see the waxer double dip the same stick back in the wax pot after it touches my face. That means every face (or other waxable body part) before me left a little bit of their skin brewing in that pot of hot wax. ewwwww!! While shopping in Gateway Plaza, I happened to find All for Beauty. I walked in and was immediately greeted with smiles by the owner. I noticed the salon was clean. I asked about an eyebrow wax and, fortunately, the owner referred me to Erika who was able to take me right away. She washed her hands before she started (seems obvious but not everyone does it) and asked questions to be sure of how I wanted my eyebrows done. The best part is she used a fresh stick each time she dipped it in wax (YAY). She was done in minutes; has a delightful personality; maintains a clean wax area; has reasonable prices; and, my eyebrows look great! After nearly two years of searching, I finally found the right place for my wax. read more

Tony did an amazing job on my tough callus and strong massage really helped my neuropathy. My big toe nails fell out during chemo and never grew back properly attached to the nail bed. Tony understood completely that I didn't have fungus. The nails look dirty as they grow out and grit collects. I need the beds cleaned and toe nails trimmed short, so they don't get ripped off and/or collect dirt as they are only attached to the toe bed 1/2 way up. I can't tell you how many foreign speaking employees tell me that I have fungus or argue that cutting my nails short won't look pretty. Tony listened and cut my nails short. Yeah!!!! No ripped off toe nails while boating. Family business run by Co and daughter Ricki so excellent customer service. I was served organic green tea. Ricki has friendly English language comprehension when speaking on the telephone. Worth the drive to Fairfield! Not many beauticians comprehend the special needs of neuropathy and nail loss from years of chemotherapy. Most assume fungus problems. Also they understood my concerns about chemicals in nail polish and recommended best brand, made in USA, for my health history. All my questions were answered. I am very apprehensive of nail salons for the most part because I've had a lot of painful experiences. All for beauty help me so much! I has just had my gel set removed from the last place that botched the job, my fingers hurt so much and I never even wanted gel to begin with, but I was silly and let the lady talk me into it! The pedicure was okay but the male tech kept telling me how great he was. I was dismayed by the fact that they used a toxic chemical adhesive used in (I believe) dental applications. It was on before I could say anything. After I left, I could see that the touch up would require a bit of at home work. Perhaps the lighting could use some improvement. The owner told me at least 6 times that their price has not changed in many years. Then he tried to sell me on seeing his wife for other things. After a long busy day at work all I wanted was to find a shop that was open, clean and sanitary, with employees who wouldn't be screaming out across the room speaking a different language to one another. I called in advance to see if they were actually available and they said to come right in. I was hesitant because it sounded loud with chatter. I told them I would be in about 10 min and ended up catching traffic so arrived 5 min later than I thought. Parking sucked but I mean..theres Ohanas, a new Thai spot that just opened up, Michaels and a Hometown Buffet in the same lot. I arrived and the guy I spoke with over the phone was outside and I was immediately seated, picked out my color pretty fast ( I usually bring my own but I just got off work ) and the lady who did my nails was so courteous, polite and took her time and definitely took pride in her work by being careful. Also, she cleaned my flip flops for me before she put them on my feet and painted my nails with my slippers on. It was pretty quiet, tv was on but not too loud, and the lady who did my pedicure wasnt ALL up in my business (just what I prefer) PLUS the man who told me to sit walked around the shop and talked to every customer..about the rain, what service was being done, complimented them, and it wasnt in a creepy way either. I came for a haircut. Let me start by saying, i have a perm. I love my perm! They decided to straighten my hair before cutting it, which i truthfully don't understand. I'm also not a fan of heat products, especially with all the chemicals in my hair already from my perm. Also If i have curly hair, why would you straighten it to cut it? Because ultimately, it's going to look different when i wash my hair and it's curly again. Well, that was the case. I didn't hate it, but it was not a good shape for curly hair. The layers were choppy, making my curls super big on the top and super skinny on the bottom. I'm not a fan. Also, the lady who was cutting my hair asked if it was a perm. &Then continued to say, well.. If you want it to be straight again, you should come here to do it. I can do it for you. It's much prettier. Now, like i said earlier, I LOVE MY PERM. So, that was annoying. I understand trying to promote your business, but that was not the way for me. read more

Just went here for the first time yesterday for a pedicure. They said $25 for 30 minutes. I got an hour in the chair :) My total was $30 because I asked for design on my toes. The staff here are very nice but I felt like just because they can, they will. I've been told 25$ for a hair cut and they charged me 30. I said fine, I'll pay 30$ + tip. Next time i came and they said 35$ so I'm like wth okay... whatever I love my hair cut so I'll pay 35$ + tip. Then the third time I went, just 1 inch off , everything the same, nothing too crazy just a cut. It was 40$!! I was so confused and asked why does it keep changing? With no explanation, they said 40 dollars. I wouldn't mind paying 40$-45$ because she always does a great job and I always tip big. But for them to say 25$ and then keep adding more and more is ridiculous. I understand if I asked for extra stuff to do on my hair but i didn't. I simply said 1 inch off and that's it. Found this place on yelp, it had decent reviews so me and a friend went in for an eye brow wax. Some lady did my friends and did an ok job and then some guy took me aside and did mine. He did a HORRIBLE job. He didn't get all my hairs and didn't even shape them and not to mention he burned my skin and left a huge red mark down my eye lid and it hurts like crazy! I like the place but never never NEVER let this guy do your eye brows. I'm so disappointed I should of not even paid. I will never go back here. read more
