Garcia is one of the few vendors we've encountered that actually values our business. We have been trying to install impact windows in all of the properties we manage. We probably spent about a year unsuccessfully trying to make this project happen before a neighbor recommended Garcia. One thing to note is that Garcia is a distributor of Lawson windows. They don't take measurements or do the installation for you. However, they will provide you with a lot of advice and feedback if you have questions about window sizes, the different styles of windows and doors, egress requirements, etc, etc. They are family owned and operated and have been in business for nearly 50 years. It's obvious that they truly care about their customers. We wanted to order windows for several properties before a price increase takes effect for 2021. They worked with us until 9PM on a Friday night to accommodate our order. Installing windows is a pretty big financial undertaking. There is a large upfront cost for the materials, and it can be a little unsettling to fork over several thousand dollars and then wait for 6-8 weeks for delivery. From my very first call to the store I was treated with professionalism and kindness. I was not to familiar with the area and they gave me landmarks. I arrived to a clean, organized and with lots of options store. I had the measurements so a very accurate estimate was given. The following day Alex came out to my house to do the final measurements and finalized my order. I was explained the process the day prior by Melisa (I think that was her name, sorry) and she answered all my questions (plenty). Alex also explained to me the work in detail. My order was delayed (COVID) but was kept informed at all times. Upon delivery of my door I was given the choice to come in and inspect but they assured me that they do their own quality check. Installation was scheduled and Roger came out to my home to install. I have recently done lots of jobs on home and I am beyond surprised of the work Roger did. The window upstairs is no longer is off the track. They replaced the track and I can finally open the window without fear that the thing will come crashing down on me. The result was a door that didn't slide properly, had a gap in two different areas that allowed both excessive noise and dirt from the road to come through at will. A year of trying to get them to come back out and sort the issue has gone ignored. They don't pick up my calls, or return my texts. I left it a few months and they must've accidentally picked up my call, said they'd send a tech, and a week passed and they had gone back underground. Bottom line, I called another company to fix their issue - almost $1500 - they came out to quote in 24 hours and had me on the schedule the next week. If I could give Advance Glass Contractors 0* I would. I was beyond patient and they simply could not care less to fix their awful job.
