Thanks to Diversified Aluminum Shutters, I can lock it all up easily in about 5 minutes. Upstairs shutters are locked from the inside. Downstairs shutters are locked with a key. So glad I don't even need a ladder. I dreaded the process of looking for installers. You never know what to expect from them. You never know who to trust. Thankfully one day, these guys showed up installing shutters in my neighborhood. But I hadn't found them personally. My neighbors from across the street did. The same good neighbors that helped me install some plywood when Irma was about to hit. Communication with DAS was always prompt whether I was dealing with Claudia or Marcella. They answered all of my questions when needed. Measurements of all my windows were taken twice. The first measurement was needed for the price quote. The second measurement was needed later on for confirmation for when they were about to receive the shutter parts. The price quote for parts and installation was very fair and reasonable. I paid 50% down and 50% upon completion. DAS also took care of the permit from the city since I chose this option. However, I was responsible obtaining a letter of approval from my HOA which was simple. On the day of installation, DAS showed up on time as planned. All shutters on all of my windows were installed by one guy which only took 2.5 hours. Unbelievable. I don't know how he did it all by himself. Overall, I couldn't have asked for a better experience for hurricane shutter installation. I highly recommend these guys.

A&M's salesperson Jason answered questions in an extremely timely manner. If I wrote the email in the evening or on the weekend, he responded. I couldn't have asked for a better sales professional. They even worked with me to install the doors I wanted, even though I did not purchase the doors from them. They installed all the windows and doors in one day. Three trucks and at least 6 employees. They sent back one installer the following day to install the window sills. I could not be happier. Other than some dust (expected) you would never even know they were here. They cleaned up every bit of scrap and removed the old windows, screens and frames. The employees could not have been nicer (even with my non-existent Spanish). The gentleman that came over, got off his car with a laptop and no measuring tape. He spent 45 minutes showing me pictures of the owner, his family, and their business. He also schooled me on google and yelp reviews. After about 40 minutes gave me a quote without measuring my door. When I asked him how come it was so high he said that because I'm only doing one door their crew would be losing time to the company as the crew could be at another property installing more than just a door. They wasted 45 Minutes of my time trying to sell me their company. When I called ASP I had already done my due diligence and read reviews, they shouldn't have wasted my time.
